  • I'm so excited about cloud 3. I still using Cloud 1 for 8 years now and works perfectly. Most durrable headset I ever used. It has some ware now but it gave me a lots of memmories.

  • It's not a bad headset for $99, I can't wait to review this. I doubt it will be better than any cheaper IEMs audio quality wise but it's a great alternative if you want an all in one setup.

  • I am switching from hyperx cloud silver to hyperx cloud 3, I really like the quality sound of the microphone, hopefully the sound will be better in my ears than hyperx cloud silver or at least at the same level.

    • Hello! The Cloud III headsets don't have the 7.1 Surround Sound feature, but instead comes with DTS:X Spacial Sound included. 😎

  • This thing will last forever, not this thing will last about a year, then stop working because the volume when is on the headset, and the mute button Don't buy these just get the alpha Even though I like this headband better Still glad you the headset at Least 64ohms and cloud alpha is 65ohms to avoid the typical headset compression with dynamics I do like how the wires Where the adjustment is are red and black going Along the theme with the red and black version and then just going pure black with a pure black version of the the cloud iii headset

  • Very disappointed - was looking forward to getting these after using the Cloud Alpha for around 5 years. But my 5 year old headset is leaps and bounds better in audio quality - how can this be? I played PUBG with the Cloud III and the footsteps are way too quiet, the gunshots are way too loud and everything sounds extremely tinny. When a lot is going on in game my Cloud Alpha still makes me feel like I can distinguish the different sounds and where they are from, the Cloud III just muddles it all together into one single auditory mess. I can only hope my retailer will take them back.

    • @GCRaiden117 lol i am from cloud 2 since 2018. I got wireless alpha too. I still think cloud 3 is superior for FPS. The sense of direction and footsteps is very prominent in cloud iii. The only downside of cloud iii is the lack of bass. But i dont mind because i never use gaming headset for music ( i use sony tws for music and daily use )

  • I own Cloud II for 8 years and as they are my favorite headsets I am considering upgrading them to the new Cloud III. However I have some concerns : 1) Is the DTS sound on automatically by itself all the time or can I turn it off when I want? Like with the option with the 7.1 Surround sound on Cloud II 2) Does the headset come with alternative velour earpads like Cloud II? I always prefer them instead of leather earpads because my ears get too hot despite the lower quality in sound and isolation 3) Will it operate at a high level without installing the app ? I don't feel like being forced to use an app for my device to work properly 4) Also a minor annoying thing with my Cloud II that I hope Cloud III improved on is that the leather on the skeleton on top of the headset got sticky and wore down after a few years without being exposed to very hot rooms 5) Is the 10-21k Hz of Cloud III better or worse than the 15-25k Hz of Cloud II ?

    • Hi, please find the answer below: 1) The DTS can be enabled / disabled in NGENUITY. Without the software the DTS surround sound is unfortunately not available. 2) No 3) The DTS surround sound and the EQ presets are not available without the NGENUITY software. 4) The ear pads and head pad have been improved. 5) It depends on personal preferences / opinion
