The perfect high clearance rear bumper for crawling.
Thank you!
That is one sweet and clean bumper
Looks incredible!
This is the best option for people who actually wheel their gladiator. But don’t forget it’s like wearing vertical stripes when you’re a little heavier. It’s still a whole lot of rig to wheel.
I’m excited. Good looking bumper for sure. I’ll be messaging to get the none tank version.
Thank you, looking forward to it!
Y’all are truly bad ass
Very slick. I get your point about the hitch but it would be nice to pull my jet skis/dirt bikes on a small trailer. Not planning to tow heavy. Sick build!
I’ve wondered if y’all would ever come back around to that bumper
I need more money! I’d drop my jeep gladiator off with you guys and say.. surprise me! And pick it up a month later. This bumper is freaking cool.
Thank you!!! Now, go buy a lottery ticket 😂
Good video 👍
That's good work! Ever build a JT rear bumper with a tire swing? I can't find one. Quadratech doesn't have it. Nice tail lights! Just like mine! The backup lights are awesome!
High clearance & extra fuel sign me up! Moab bound…
Wow! I wish I could find something like this for my 13 F150.
I was wondering what happen with the first design. This came out great nice and high not sure I’ll use the gas tank version but I’ve been looking forward to a high clearance rear bumper.
Looks awesome and highly functional, well done! One question has it been tested for a rear end crash?
Have any other bumpers made by other manufacturers been tested for rear end collision?
@@Exodus4x4 Great question. Im really interested in this mod but my concern is the gas tank relocation. Thanks for replying.
If I had a gladiator… I’d love this bumper! Simple and functional! Any hopes of a Bronco fuel tank relocation?
Took me like 3 years for this one, so maybe lol
@@Exodus4x4 a “maybe” is better than a “no” 😂😂😂
👍
Great videos keep them coming. Need a recommendation, i am lifting my 2008 Rubicon JK and changing tire size to either 35 or 37s. Should I re-gear. I dont pull trailers or do extreme rock crawling type of driving.
You’ll definitely want to re-gear with the 3.8 engine. First off, go straight to 37’s and re-gear to 5.13 if you aren’t off-roading much.
Thanks much!
Can it be done on a regular length tub or do you have to bob it bubba?
How about Just the fuel tank for the added fuel without the high clearance bumper can you still retain towing capacity
Bumper looks awesome. Is that an EVO license plate bracket? If so did you guys figure out the light for it? If so can I order it from you with light? Thx again bumper/truck look awesome
To be honest I’m not sure how RC mounted his license plate but when I did mine that way I just put nutserts in the tailgate and ran the wires inside to an OffRoadOnly license plate light.
@@Exodus4x4 thx brother
Nicely done... is the fuel fill in the stock location? Shock packaging is probably in the way...?
The shock package on this one is in the way so we made a custom fill nozzle for him inside the bed. On a regular shock setup we could retain the factory nozzle location.
@@Exodus4x4 I will be keeping an eye out for your gas tank solution...
First Like, welcome back Bubba! More content coming????
Yes. Few other videos are in edit or being wrapped up. I think we’ll start a weekly video of shop updates too.
Are you going to make it so that we can start off with the bumper and at a later time be able to upgrade and install the fuel tank?
The current design doesn’t allow for that so we may have to make a revision. Wouldn’t be too hard.
Looks great I could see where it would be highly functional for a rock crawler however, most of those people have cut the bed or done the Moto built set up most the reason they leave a full-size bed is so that they can do the towing and practical nature of the truck also a lot of people have found that mounting the tire in the bed there just aren’t a lot of great options my other question would be running a fuel cell at the rear of the truck does it still remain street legal in most states ? It seems like for legal reasons you need to get that bumper tested and that fuel cell tested. God forbid you had a rear end collision based on all that it kind of seems like this is a custom item not something that’s marketed towards the masses
Your last sentence answered all your other statements.
Towing option? Oops you just addressed it, what about designing a heavier one for towing with the fuel tank?
Too much liability
😍 JL version? 🙏🏼👊🏼🤙🏼
Nah, Motobilt and GenRight have that covered.
the first bumper looks amazing this one looks generic.
Lol, thanks.
If I had a JT I’d just put the gas tank in the bed. If you’re looking for the most off-road rock crawling performance then why not have nothing back there at all. No tire, no gas tank, nothing.
Because he uses whats left of the bed
What sweet. @Billmiresworld8612
