  • Fantastic! Thank you for putting this together. I’m a big fan of keeping it as low as possible, while still getting some bigger tires on for the trails. Your final setup looks like perfection. 👍✌️

  • We prefer cloth seats in Arizona, too. It gets hot AF here in the summer.

  • Great video! I also always go with a 3.6L and 8-speed. Great combo and very reliable!

  • I appreciate you documenting your builds Ali. I have used some of mod ideas on my own. Now, if only I could trade mine for a 392. 😬

  • Similar set up with the 3.0 liter eco diesel. Torque all day long. Awesome set up.

  • i see the NC plate! do you have a list of recommended trails in the state? i live in the charlotte burbs about an hour from uwharrie but haven't checked it out yet. also would love to find some trails in pisgah - sometimes the forest roads there are open but they're usually hit or miss

    @supwell@supwell2 ай бұрын
    • Uwharrie is your best best for good trails close to you. Start off on the Lake View Trail, then hit wolf den followed by falls damn. If want something more challenging, Dickey Bell and Dutch John are great. The hardest trail in Uwharrie is Daniel. Easy trails however can be difficult if it’s wet. The next closest wheeling venue for you is Gulches OHV. Hurricane Creek is fun, but that’s a long drive from Charlotte.

  • Thank you for being a flag bearer for the low-CG minimal lift maximum articulation setups on JL platform. I am a huge fan of that philosophy and took a lot of inputs from your JL, 392 and wheel offset videos in setting up my custom lift on 4xe Rubicon. kzhead.infoQeBK0cPgtMM?feature=share

  • Thanks for the information Ali. Whats everything that one would need to change to run 37s on a Rubicon (3.6L - Manual transmission - 4.88 gear ratio)?

    @nomusicoffroad@nomusicoffroad4 ай бұрын
    • I would look at a 5.13 over the 4.88 with the manual. Beyond that, I wouldn’t worry too much about axle upgrades unless you are really going to push it in the rocks. Even then, RCV axleshafts would be all I would do until the ball joints gave out. After that, a set of Dynatrac ball joints would be next on my list.

    • @@Ali_Mansour_Editor ok! Thanks for a prompt reply. And what about the lift kit?

      @nomusicoffroad@nomusicoffroad4 ай бұрын
    • I was happy with the Dynatrac kit. If you wanted something a little taller with more options, I like the JKS 2.5 kit.

  • Ali what’s your opinion about long arms, I’m planning to install EVO long arms on my JLUR

    @masoudshaghaghi5744@masoudshaghaghi57444 ай бұрын
    • That’s a great long arm system. I think it has the highest ground clearance and it comes with Johnny Joints. I’ve seen that kit with the EVO coilovers on the trail. It works awesome. EVO makes great stuff.

  • I installed the Tazer mini in my JL392 last week and have being driving it around in 2WD. If I drive across state about 450 miles only briefly stopping for fuel in 2WD will my rear diff explode ? lol is that to much load for to long for the diff in 2WD? I’ll be climbing in elevation a lot but i like the way it drives in 2wd

    • I don’t think it really makes it significant impact for the highway. If you’re slamming on the gas right off the line, that’s really where you’re putting the most load. I’ve got thousands of miles on the 392 in 2WD, knock on wood, I’ve never had an issue and the transfer case fluid still looks great.

      @Ali_Mansour_Editor@Ali_Mansour_Editor2 ай бұрын
  • Ali quick question, when you put your jl 392 in 2wd with the tazer does your 4auto light on the dash flicker on and off really fast at random times ? Mine does and has since install. The 4auto like will light up and turn off about 4 times and then turns off completely it’ll happen every 10 minutes or so

    @blakemarchand6650@blakemarchand6650Ай бұрын
    • Yes. Mine flashes as well. ZAutomotive says it’s normal.

  • Ridge Grapplers are definitely not a offroad tire

    @Ken-qq6gp@Ken-qq6gp4 ай бұрын
    • I found they worked OK in general. They worked great in Moab, but the Trail Grappler is a much better off-road tire for sure.

      @Ali_Mansour_Editor@Ali_Mansour_Editor4 ай бұрын
    • Agreed, they chunk very bad in the rocks.
