There should be a chapter in NCERT taught to all students between 8 to 9th about how to be a responsible voter. We are all taught that India is a democracy and that we get to choose our representatives but no body teaches us how to vote. If the kids are taught at such a young age that voting responsibly is a responsibility just like study and doing homework, how to compare different candidates in their constituency by looking at election commission data, to look beyond those candidates with flashy slogans and campaigning style and asking the prospective leaders the hard questions than only real change can happen. These thoughts should be shaped when it is the easiest to shape and will build them to become a responsible voter in future.
Now it does feels like that some percent of that 1600 crore has actually gone to the bank accounts of these two guys !
