I noticed the ref called Fields after the kneel down and gave him the game ball himself. That's kinda cool the ref recognizing as well that it's his first win.

If Goff plays good in Detroit, he can increase his value a ton. NFL teams who are in a rough QB situation entering free agency will take him in with open hands if he can just put together a solid season.

He's smart, doesn't get hung up calling one team over the other, and seems to really enjoy good stuff coming from either team during the game. Most announcers who sound enthusiastic during games are usually sort of obviously pulling for one team or the other which sucks for the fans of the other team, especially if your team is struggling. Johnson just gets into it no matter who is playing well at different points during the game. He sounds like he understands what's happening on the field and just digs good football when it happens. That's what you want when you have fans of both teams watching the broadcast. He's good.

The Defense today continues to be big for the bears. Justin Fields has played a solid game, even though he’s his stats show he’s played an efficient game, he’s still learning to play the position in the NFL. Hopefully the injury to David Montgomery is not serious, because he’s been our best offensive weapon on the team

There will be growing pains with Fields because he’s a rookie. He will make rookie mistakes but he seems even keel when they happened today. He didn’t lose his head. DM32 going down is a big concern but Damien Williams was good today. He’s a solid addition to the RB core.

Thinking about all the Lion fans crying about how their team never gets any calls and how the NFL was against them, then watching this game made me realize something. It's not that the Lions don't get the calls, they just don't take advantage of them when they do so no one ever really notices. Today was a perfect example of that.

First and foremost, praying for David Montgomery. He is such a good person and a great Teammate! This Bears Offense needs him, and Fields _definitely_ needs him. I hope he will be OK. Also, Congratulations to Justin Fields for getting his first Win in the NFL! While his Stats won't jump off the page, he played a terrific game. He was absolutely spot on with those Deep Passes! He connected with Mooney and Robinson on some deep passes that were right on the money!! Speaking of Mooney... WOW! I am so happy we have him! He is a Star in the making! The Defense was... opportunist. They weren't great, but they played that "Bend but don't Break" Defense, and it worked... this time. Overall, I am happy with the Win. Yes, it's the Lions. Yes, the next 6 or 7 games in the Bears Schedule is ridiculously difficult. However, this is something to build upon. Bear Down!

Many good points for the Bears today: Running game was good and effective thanks to the O-line blocking very well. Passing game by Fields was pretty impressive and accurate. and the Monsters of the Midway keeping the Lions off the score board in the 1st half. @Mr.Supreme because he sucks as a play caller so sometimes there’s a lot of back lash when he calls plays and the oc doesn’t so every once in awhile the oc calls played and ends up the offense is much better

What a game from Fields today.. Loved it!!
Great game by Fields, you can see a completely different offense than before with Trubisky. Even after the Lions scored 14, you could tell that The Bears offense was confident and fully able to control the pace of the game. Odd saying that but it’s true. A lot of skeptics will say he only beat the Lions and will attempt to downplay this win but the result would be similar against any other team as long as your able to protect him, and give him time to throw the ball. His throws were accurate and for the most part hit his receiver in stride. Bear down

My Bears played very well today. Justin Fields was 11/17 for 209 yards threw the air and only threw one interception, and David Montgomery rushed for 106 yards on 23 carries. He scored two touchdowns so offensively the Bears were clicking today. They just need to be more consistent. That's all.
And that 1 interception was a tipped ball.
