    • @@andallthatjazz5796 Most likely the latter as the business wants him to feel comfortable to dine in their establishment without fear of getting harassed by fans. It sounds strange but sometimes this level of actor just wants to be able to go to a restaurant without any fuss over who he is. The restaurant knows this so they institute a rule of "no talking to the actor", good on him however for still being friendly. What a gentleman, if only the rest of us would aspire to be like Sir Anthony Hopkins.

  • The audience reaction was based on four things: “Silence of the Lambs” cleaning up at the Oscars - rare for a horror/thriller; a Best Actor award for a 16-minute performance; the film had been released earlier in the year when they are often forgotten come Oscar time; and the sheer greatness of Anthony Hopkins. It really is one of the great film performances ever.
