  • My Mercedes saved my life and my sister’s when a truck ran a red light. We would have been t-boned and died on impact had my C300 not realized something was wrong and the crash system warned us. Literally stopped right before he rocketed by us and at first we thought we’d been hit because he was so close. Very thankful I was driving a Mercedes with crash detection and prevention in it instead of my normal commuter car

    • Daughter had an accident in hers a truck hit her front on. She was told that the car saved her legs from being crushed. The structure made for those kinda of collisions Benz has is amazing. I believe it too because the front was demolished but you can see this framing in the pics from the accident still in tacked.! I was on the phone with her she was talking through her car audio on drive mode. I heard the whole thing, the smash & scream. I now suffer with PTSD.

  • Amazing video. Here is 2 more cool facts: 1. Mercedes-Benz still holds a speed record from 1955. 992 miles (1587km) in 10 hours, 7 minutes, 48 seconds in W196S. 2. Mercedes-Benz T80 from 1939 has a 3000hp engine and as a target 750km/h! This is not confirmed, but it's still cool. P.S: The voice in the video is just amazing, I fell in love with it...

  • how about -number 1: Mercedes-Benz doesn't just manufacture cars but also they used to be a tank manufacture during ww2 and the most famous tanks that were design by and manufactured by Mercedes were Panzer I,Panzer III, StuG III and in fact Mercedes tank design were superior to those of MAN design like Panther tank according to Albert Speer & Fritz Todt. -number 2: Mercedes owns Maybach and Maybach main income isn't from cars but large engines made for power plants, aircrafts, ships, tanks, for example all ww2 German tanks used Maybach engines and most of Bf-109 used Daimler engines till this day Maybach makes engines for the famous German Leopard tank series, Eurofighter, EC665 Tiger, Boxer APC, Puma IFV, Type-212 submarines, F124 destroyers. -number 3: Mercedes do make helicopter in fact they own 22.5 % of Airbus Group because in the past the owned Dornier-Werke GmbH who made the famous Do 217 bomber, and Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm who made the famous Bf-109 & Bf-110 and the first fighter jet in the world the Me 262 all by Mercedes.

    • Wow i learned a lot but i have a question about the vehicles war when the g wagon came out it was based off a military vehicle and maybach yes was owned by mercedes but they used to be a car company in the 1940s until they went down hill then later in like the 2000s they were owned by mercedes am i correct?

  • I bought my first, a 2001 CLK430, after the amazing “Falling in Love Again” campaign. My current Benz, my 11th, is a 2017 S-Class and is the most perfect and amazing machine I’ve ever known, and I’ve owned all competition but Bentley. I’m about to order number 12, an AMG GT-C for summer. These cars are very special, and the company heritage and leadership in safety mean a lot to me; how fortunate I feel to have “Das Beste Oder Nichts” in my life.

  • That is what sets Mercedes apart from other cars is the safety factor, quality of the components. Though this video is more focused on the luxury it is the engineering that ultimately stands out with Mercedes. Look at how many of the older Mercedes are on the road and that tells you of the quality of its engineering. I am impressed with the W123 240d, 300d and 300sd.

  • Mercedes is a legendary cqr brand and desrves to be ranked in the 3 best car brands of all time. Rolls royce and Bentley perhaps make more opulent and luxurious cars, but the s class is the standard for luxury, safety and performance for that type of car. Mercedes is great. 69/69 praise again.

  • I think u should've given more respect to this brand, just for the fact that they created the automobile and in any new generation, the S Class sets the standards of future technology in the automobile industry.     • The (S600 Royale) is not made complete by mercedes benz it was made as a one of by a customer. But yes some G Wagon versions like the 6x6 are priced above the mercedes S650 cabriolet with round about 500000 USD
