  • 5:57 Nobody considered Titanic to be the world's fastest ship... this was the accolade of Lusitania and Mauretania the two Cunarders which were built for speed, and reached greater speeds than Titanic.

  • I am not Evan finished and I am getting a headache from how bad this is. I will say may thoughts and what he got wrong 1 Collapsible D was NOT on the roof of the officers quarters A and B were but both C and D were right near them but on the boat deck 2 The last message was not at 2:17 that is when the titanic split up the last message was probably around 2:05 to 2:10 3 She was not Evan considered that fastest vessels afloat both Lusitania and Murantania were much faster then Olympic and titanic. 4Nobody thought titanic was “unsinkable” she was thought to be really strong but she was never advertised as “unsinkable” I give up I don’t wanna watch anymore of this bad video. PLEASE BRIGHT SIDE ACTUALLY DO YOUR RESEARCH AND NOT JUST GUESS THINGS

  • Yet again, another documentary citing the combined capacity of lifeboats. Arguably pointless since they didn’t get time to launch all the ones aboard and the role of the boats was to ferry to a rescue ship. Also, Titanic was not the fastest ship in the world.

  • The Titanic sank slowly because1: It was about 20,000 times heavier than the iceberg it hit, and had the full momentum of all that weight driving it forward. Though the engines were immediately thrown into reverse and the rudder turned hard left, slowing and turning took an incredible distance because of the tremendous weight (or mass) of the ship. The collision produced a series of thin gashes as well as brittle fracturing and separation of seams in the adjacent hull plates, thus allowing water to flood into the Titanic2. The vessel hit the iceberg and the hull broke loose before the stern split. The ship only took five minutes to sink 3. It is also believed that the Titanic was sailing too fast at the time of the accident, which many historians believe was too fast given the knowledge of icebergs in the area pls like my fingers hurt
