Sunset listen through of Phil Wickham's album Hymn Of Heaven (Acoustic Sessions).
There’s a cliff near our home that overlooks the ocean. It’s become my family's “sunset spot”. We’ll pile into the van and head there to watch the sun come down over the Pacific, usually with some In N Out or ice cream in hand. It’s always a beautiful time together. I recorded Hymn Of Heaven (Acoustic Sessions) with that exact scene in mind. I actually have a photo of my kids at our “sunset spot” and throughout the project, I kept coming back to that photo. I wanted to make a version of Hymn Of Heaven that would be a soundtrack to those kinds of moments.

I lived w stage 4 breast cancer for 7 years. They said I was dying. That was over a year ago and I just left the gym. I’m strong. I’m free. I’m a child of God and I will serve Him with every breath I have left. And then for eternity. This is the power of Gods LOVE. ❤

I was paralyzed in bed last year and I heard Jesus say out loud to me If you believe in me get up and walk💜🕊 I got up and not only walked but went for a walk outside. Praise God!!!!! GOD IS ALWAYS WORKING!!!!😥😙😥😪😥

I was Muslim and converted to being a follower of our lLord Jesus Christ..I prayed to God one time with all my heart and asked him to show me if he’s real then Jesus came into my life. My dearest son went back home to our Lord Almighty last month, this song is my son's declaration of his faith during his battle with cancer, this song inspired and encouraged him a lot, our Lord Jesus carried my son on his shoulders all through out, my son didn't lose the battle, he won it with Jesus. Now he is rejoicing with our Lord in heaven.

Hearing this music while reading all of your testimonies reminded me that He is faithful and good. We had a very toxic household before and my parents would usually fight. Through constant prayer and declaration that our household will serve the Lord no matter what, He was able to restore my parent's relationship. Nothing is impossible to Him.

- I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother passing away. My grandmother passed away two weeks ago, and she always said how wonderful it is that God has promised to never leave us or forsake us. It was her favorite passage in the Bible. She reminded me of His promise every time we talked, right up to the day she died. Can you just imagine what both of our grandmothers are seeing and doing at this very moment? Praise the Lord for their lives. God bless!

Im a truck driver and I first heard this song driving down the road...I had to pull over and cry it spoke to me so much. It felt so good. Now it's my favorite song for the moment. I was badly mentally ill and on drugs for over 20 years and Jesus cured me by his hand. I love you Jesus!! Thank you so much.

- Yes it's been very difficult with this pain it's the worse I ever had.. especially cause I can't walk.. I never thought I break my arm on my walker. Phil whickhams music is a blessing from God. Through his music the Lord has helped me so much. I’m 19 years old, grew up in the church, knew about God, was even baptized at 13. But I rejected it all completely by the way I lived, and there the Lord came running inspite of it all, there he hung on the cross to save me and he rose again. The King of King, Lord of Lord, God in the flesh he died for me. He saved me. If he can with me you can with you. If you would just turn to him and trust him completely, forget all these worldly things and get in your Bible and prayer have a relationship with him devote your life to him and do it because he has loved you all the way to cross and died for you. Come on! Turn to him!! Is his arm too short that it cannot save!? I reckon the Lord can and will saved the “worst of the worst” you are never ever too far gone for him to reach he is God. And he loves you and will forgive you please just come to him and turn to him. I beg you, there is only love in the heart of God!

I just wanted to tell you how God has used your music to bless me. In April 2010 my pregnancy was not going well. As I rushed to the hospital early in the morning, obviously scared, your song Safe came on the radio. I had never heard the song. The words of the chorus stuck in my head. I was in the hospital for a few weeks and then had to go home while my son was still in the NICU. That whole time, when it was quiet, that song stayed in my mind, a constant reminder that God was protecting me and my son. This month my son will be 12. Praise God!!! Thank you for your music that proclaims Christ and is a reminder that God is with us and for us.

This album ministered to my soul for many nights at the brilliant Birmingham Children's Hospital caring for my son with leukemia. He was diagnosed at 11 months. He turns 2 in a week, completely cancer free. My wife and I are eternally grateful to Jesus for his healing. God bless you, Phil.

- I have anxiety disorder-I understand. Keep reading the Word, trust God that thru this trial He will carry you. I know it’s very hard. I listened to worship music, scriptures. I take medication, but it’s His way of healing me. I just went through two months of anxiety. God drew me closer to Him and revealed some things in my life that weren’t pleasing Him. “This too shall pass”. I’m saying a prayer for you now!

I am from Liberia ( a small country in west Africa). i grown up never seeing my both parents. things were very hid specially during the 14years civil war in my country. I had to become a child soldier just to survive. I did all kinds of things to get through each day. I never felt good enough for anything because I never saw my parents. i tried killing my self so many times, but God always saved me. I was a broken and lost soul until I gave my life to Jesus, and He saved me! I never had a family growing up but today, I have a beautiful wife that loves me very much! and we have an Orphanage 69 children living with HIV that we take care of and they are our family. I don’t know how many others listening to these songs feel the way I do…but their is a never ending battle within my soul. On one hand I am nothing but a sinner and deserve nothing in this life and without Him I wouldn’t have breath in my lungs. On the other hand, my soul longs to meet my eldest brother Jesus and give him a hug knowing that my name is written in the book of life. I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where KZhead started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.

- My mom died when I was 30. Cancer throughout her body. She got baptized a cpl months before she died. God is good. Her life was so hard. I had just left the hospital and she was unconscious. I got home and a feeling swept through me .The phone rang. It was my step dad telling me she passed. I felt her spirit tell me "I'm OK Laurie. It is beautiful here" Our life may not be good, but God is always GOOD.

The Holy Spirit woke me up this morning at 4 am, and I finally was able to ask Him what do I need to pray for, whom should I pray for and He told me that He woke me up so I would not die today in my sleep, He said "pray for yourself to stay alive". So I prayed and prayed again just now while listening to "The God of revival"...I am amazed beyond words about how the words of "my" prayer aligned with the words of the song...as I thanked Him for waking me up...I'm in tears of joy and gratitude HALLELUYAH Especially because not long ago I was the one pleading to Him to take me home to Him, because I couldn't put up with the pain of being in the world anymore, and ...wow...another song "the pain is gone"...This truly is the power of the Holy Spirit! Yes, the pain is gone, or even if it isn't gone it feels as if it is no longer there, because I'm finally enabled by His grace (after I surrendered everything) to rejoice in pain and for the first time in my life to know what it means to walk in the power of YHWH. Reverence, Obedience, and staying Humble before Him Who alone is able to do far above what we can imagine or ask for, is the way. "Look where I'm standing now!" The Truth! HALLELUYAH Every single word of these songs is anointed with power! Oh Lord God please protect Your true worshipers! HALLELUYAH HALLELUYAH AMEN

I would listen to this song every day but a night before one of the scariest exam papers, I listened to this song and the words " late in the midnight hour God's gonna turn it around, it's gonna work in your favor" sounded like I heard them for the first time. God touched and healed me in a special way when I was 16. I had depression and my life seemed to be going nowhere. That was 27 years ago. Needless to say, I have never gotten over His peace and the love that he filled me with. There is a fire burning in my heart for Him. Suffering a migraine tonight. The only thing that’s soothing it is this set of worship so it’s on repeat. For some reason I can even sing to it but when I turn it off my headache comes barreling back. So I’m going to worship through until the breakthrough. Thank you Jesus for being with me in my suffering. Thank you Phil for glorifying Him with your gifts and sharing them with us. It’s a balm

I was ashamed,full of guilt and I felt like I could never change. Then Jesus saved me and made me clean. He is the reason I sing. I am no longer stuck in addiction . I am free. Thank you Phil for bringing us closer to Him through your worship

Continuing from last comment. I have listened to this 30 or 40 times over. Manifesting on the words and the promises of God's great love for us. My wife and I lost a child to suicide in Nov. 17,2020. His loss has been devastating and the anguish we have went through and been unbearable. God using you to produce such an album in such a timely manner when I needed it most just shows who He is as our Savior. I love 29 minutes in the song, Look Where Im Standing Now. As I sit here on October 9, 2022 I am agreeing in worship as my dad is in the hospital and they have just removed the oxygen and feeding tube. I trust the Lord has him in His arms. This is bringing me peace.

First time I heard this song, it's always been you, my husband had recently passed away. I've been listening to Phil's music for many years but this song, well the words were just what I needed at the right moment. Can't wait to see Phil Wickham and Brandon Lake at Bridgestone Arena this August. It'll be my first Phil Wickham concert that is long overdue. I’m getting remarried. The Lord has brought me through so much. And as I am filling my confetti cones for my wedding tomorrow, this song brought me to my knees as it always does. I’m so blessed it’s always been Him!

- I lost my momma two years ago today but Jesus was there to receive her. Thats all that matters. My grief is joy because of his promises and his faithfulness. We will be there one day to experience that joy to finally be with our Savior!

I am so sorry for your loss. “To be absent from the body is to present with the Lord.” I may never understand this depth of pain on this side of heaven. But I do know God promises to make something good from it if we will let Him. I’m praying God wraps you up in His arms and holds your pain. Our Mama’s have met our Savior and are dancing on those beautiful streets of gold we have only dreamed about. They are completely healed and totally free. ❤️🙌🏻💔
