The Six Soldiers “concealed” forms were literally one of the coolest concepts and designs in the franchise, and then going you went episode by episode to see their true forms and abilities too?? It was so hype
The concealed forms are disguises and yeah, they are awesome. I wish those costumes were for sale.
And then, they become obsolete after fusing with Drago and his allies and were never heard from again. What a waste of aesthetics.

Exedra is ridiculously strong, it should have been explored more. Exedra is my favorite, it's incredibly strong
Not a big fan of his Final Wizard ability... he absorbs the energy from the other Bakugan on the field thus making him incapable of doing anything… BUT he looks amazing so I guess I can forgive him
And ge has the best design of the six in my opinion

@@originalbakugan7671 Final Wizard could have been broken instead of stealing energy from an ally, it stole it from another opponent in the field. and it still gets the benefit of nullifying your opponents gate card and adding +100 because why not. that would be truly the strongest darkus ability

I really love how most of their abilities play into how their attributes played in S1 Final Wizard playing into sacrifice , which masquerade used a lot so Hydranoid was the only one standing, Sagittarius arrow playing into the revival aspect of Haos, which was heavily played by Runo throughout the season, and atomic brave playing into power plays just for examples. I loved the strategic aspect of S1 and it’s kind of a shame they cut it 😭
I totally agree. The strategic gameplay in Season 1 was amazing and made things interesting. Then from like the end of S1 and S2 onward it just became generic "pokemon" battles basically. (And then after Season 2 the whole show became meh)
Yeah… till someone decides to toss Aquos Siege and wipe the board or use Mine Ghost to say F U… legit though I kinda wish someone home brewed a bakugan game based on season 1 and I want to see what the meta bakugan and gate cards would be in that kind of situation
@@Xeno-The-Wanderer blow away + mine ghost would be a busted tier 0 strategy. Being able to take out 2/3 of a player's team with a single gate card and single ability without ever having to battle is broken, I mean shun uses that strategy and it ends in a 3-0 victory
@@thestain8004 and here I thought Aquos Siege would be meta, maybe as a multi brawl. Some abilities can negate gate cards or abilities so that’s something though gate card negation is the more common of the 2… Blow Away is the one that moves to gate cards so packing bakugan like Cycloid or one with Grand Down could work. Mantris also has the ability to move bakugan with marionette
@@luxfyre strategic gameplay? I hardly knew this so-called "game" the bakugan brawlers were playing even HAD strategy involved... They all looked like they were activating a buncha random ability cards back 'n forth with no real thought put into what the actual rules of the game itself are... It looks like the game just boils down to whoever had the better ability cards wins...
I like exedra for more of his character then power or design he was the reason why he made the other 5 soilders actually give the brawlers a chance and him just doing that makes the whole element of darkus less of the evil element out if the 6

It sucks darkus is always corolating with the "evil" type and it's always because they want Dragonoid to fight a dark/evil dragon/Bakugan in almost every season. (Hyrdanoid, Hades for a while, Dharaknoid, Razenoid, Helios became a dark dragon to fill that circle although he wasn't a villain, the main Nonet). I think Mechtavious destroyer was also technically darkus. The show really could've swapped it up and gave us a main Haos villain or something, but it's whatever
Naga is also darkus alongside his Paladins
Only Helios and Farbros were Pyrus
@@originalbakugan7671 yeah, I searched it up cause I didn't wanna be entirely wrong. It says he's got no attribute, cause we all know he's a "white one" but he mimics Darkus/uses the element the most after being able to use the silent core. I guess he technically counts. It's just silly he goes all this time with no attribute just to become Darkus

I know we can all agree that the Dragon Proudia is the best part of this series during this arc, especially when Dan did that crazy jump up to him and ended up getting hurt. Talk about going above and beyond for your Bakugan. Btw, amazing edits. I wish they did this in the show, just like you did here, by showing the ability names and stuff in those colors.

This is the time when Bakugan make scene's now it's just card after card without strategy
Lars Lion was my fave. But Haos was also the attribute I played as. Too bad they hardly explored the legendary soldiers power before killing them off.

The original Bakugan was amazing. I loved the first two seasons of it. I don't like the new version of it that's out now.
I also prefer the OG Bakugan for the first two seasons. I don't like the reboot or the the other seasons
Though I noticed you left out Apollonir's Maximum Nova ability, I still think this was a great video. The Legendary soldiers of Vestroia will always be awesome
I didn’t enjoy making the video as the abilities were scattered all around the episodes. Not to mention most Soldiers have 3-4 abilities at max while Plitheon and Horridian have at least double that amount

@@originalbakugan7671 I feel like there were more abilities but maybe that’s just bad memory. It shouldn’t be hard to find all of them considering the 6 soldiers episodes were right next to each other while Exedra was at the last brawler brawl. New Vestroia only requires finding the Vexos drago episode and the 2nd arc premiere

Saiam Loa against assail formation wouldn’t have worked I imagine since it would return to base levels and assail is part of Farbros. Neo Valute seems to be a single barrier unable to protect his allies leaving them open to attack

Ah memories, this original bagukan season 1 is from back when I was still in kinder now I'm 1st year in college.
After stumbling upon a Bakugan Anime on yt, I went on to find particularly this one because I remember they are one of my faves, I have Exedra, Clayf both in there OG attributes and a Sus Pyro Naga (in which for the longest till recently I thought it was Apollonir, and lastly surprise 2x Haos Apollonir in which I thought was Wavern... 😭)
It really made me mad how much they hyped up the Legendary Soldiers in being powerful from the very beginning but don’t really show it off during battling especially from the standing power levels
Hmmm... This got me curious, what if the 6 ancient warriors decided to evolve to become more powerful, and what would their abilities would be added as well?
I think they already at their final forms
You can see that when you look at how Fusion Dragonoid and Apollonir share some core designs, sectioned wings and armor like skin. Maybe even abilities like revolutionize. Apollonir really was peak pyrus bakugan.
@@ray_wilson I wouldnt call him weak, he defeated helios combined with a mechanican trap without even breaking a sweat. Lets not forget that helios, for his organic form was very powerful. He beat both drago and tigrerra, and still apollonir seems like he was just toying with him.

I'm a support role in every game a played so I am not surprise that Lars Lion and Haos attribute is my favorite.

I think Clayf is my least favorite of the legendary soldiers. And it's all because of the Atomic Brave ability. When I was a kid and saw it for the first time I thought, "That's it? He just gets legs? What a rip."

I thought Clayf would protect others from Farbros' abilities with his Atomic Blade ability, but on the contrary, it was a disappointment for me.
Pretty sure he did use it, but Farbros' power was too great.

I forgot why these so-called six "legendary" bakugan warriors ever existed when Drago at his peak could solo every one of them singlehandedly over the course of the entire show... With or without upgrades... That's how wack they made Drago with his power levels... P.S. For these bakugan to be called "legendary warriors" a handful of them only have 2-3 ability cards...
I call it the issue of them being showed there full power.

They do so bad with the dubbing. The jp dup makes them true legends wariors, while the eng makes them gang member or some shit.
Season 1 is and will forever be the goat. The other seasons felt formulaic and gimmicky
