I've honestly used this channel to study to be a good client 😅. I hope it worked. I was really nervous, I recently got my 1st 6 hr tattoo session (I only had 2 other tattoos that took 2 hrs max in minimally painful areas). I made sure I showered that morning, brushed my teeth right before I left, shaved the area he would tattoo, ate a good lunch, brought snackos and water for the break, asked for minimal breaks, and I did want to scream/moan when he did alot of detail on my hip bone but I didn't and just worked on breathing exercises and just sounded like a sad deflating balloon instead 😅. Guess it worked he said he really liked the concept and loved that it worked with his style, and that he would love to do more large flowy pieces on me in the future if I was interested, so yay ✨
Many tattoo artists tell you to not shave that area, that they would, because many people come to the studio with not well-treated skin and that dificulties the artist's work
@@mrrr.2855 Good to know. I'm a makeup artist and have learned a lot about skin care in school. I know not to come in with razor burn or injured irritated skin. My tattoo artist said I did a good job, it made it easier for him, and saved some time. So in this case it was fine. In the future if I get tattooed by a different artist I will ask them what their personal preference is ahead of time in case they personally preferred if I didn't ✨.

Same here! While watching this channel, I especially learned that it's important to give the artist artistic control while still getting your point across on how you want the tattoo to be. I have 12 tattoos and by allowing the artists to have fun with them, they all came out great!
@@TR_89 Very true! The last piece I got was pretty big and had a lot of elements in it. Mostly an animal skull, plants, and mushrooms. Let him pick what kinds and how to put them together, and it came out amazing ✨. They all worked and flowed together so well. Still felt like my style too 💚

I've actually talked to jar guy once on a website he shared his videos, there are a few. From what I can tell he seems very quiet, really self deprecating, lonely, but polite and sweet in his own way. We talked about an "incident" he had with jars breaking. I don't know why he does what he does but who he really is behind what he does is far more important. I thought some people might've been curious about what he's like atleast from what little I got from him.

I saw it in 9th grade. Let me tell you, between about five to ten other friends, we shared the video with well over 100 people. It was perverse, disgusting, and wildly inappropriate.
My tattoo artist (Ink Master alum) did a gorgeous, subtle, tiny "One Guy, One Jar" armpit tattoo on her friend. It was all in good humor and wayyy less awkward than the one mentioned here lmao. Also, y'all's editor is gettin WILD this season LOL

Oh my god. It was actually SOG that introduced me to one guy one jar. Laughed my ass off, and pretty much cringed my entire soul out of my body. Looked up an interview the guy did afterward. Apparently he didn't go to the doctor, he still stretches himself out, and he was digging glass out of his ass for a few days afterward. Seems like a chill dude.
