We, the people sitting in this stadium, each of us is different, not totally alike one another, but we are all God's children, each of us with different talents. And, as I mentioned just now, right now is a bad time. In fact, I am not satisfied with the present situation. I have not seen how such situations evolved in the past, therefore I don't know what will happen next. But many people are suffering today because of a few individuals, it's really true. We, we the adults, consider ourselves to be "smarter" than the small children and innocents, but while we do our best to teach and educate our children, we forget that we also have some things to learn from those children. They are pure-hearted, kind, friendly, untainted and without egos and their love for people are pure. Young children have such qualities. I started writing this song I'm about to perform, three years ago. Generally speaking, my main purpose in writing this work is to call for peace in the world. It's a small composition that has burst out from deep within my heart. To tell you truth, many thanks to god and with your wishes I traveled to many parts of the world and met many different people during my tours. One thing I understood is that if you look at ordinary people, there is no such thing as a bad nationality, there is no bad nationality! I have been waiting patiently for your great reaction, thank you. I understand how this was very hard for you to watch as it is for most people so very emotional. Our Dimash is very vocal about the futility and human cost of war. He detests war and has stated that wars are always between two people not two nations. He has said he is 'only a singer' so all he can do is 'use his voice'. This is Dimash's humility and him using his voice. Dimash composed the music and wrote the screen play. This was a project 3 years in the making on and off in-between commitments in many countries and his homeland not to mention his concerts of which there has been four in just this year alone. Dimash premiered The Story of One Sky live at his concert in Almaty, Qazaqstan on the 23rd September and the video released on the 24th. The emotion, heart and soul is real and I believe this was a way for him to vent his frustration at current world events. It’s mostly about life, death and rebirth. Director Alina Veripya is second to none in her field and portrayed everything magnificently.I believe she also directed ‘Okay’ for Dimash which was a great video. The Story of One Sky is an absolute mind blowing masterpiece and deserves unrivalled recognition from all corners of the earth. This makes you sad, makes you cry but leaves you questioning the direction we as a humans are travelling. Dimash has said he realises this is not for mainstream music but he felt compelled to write it. Dimash promised something epic and that was a colossal understatement. He delivered as always. ❤💕

Работа всех участников съёмочной группы, музыкантов, - всё в превосходной степени. Рекомендую также посмотреть живое выступление с концерта в Алмы-Аты.Это вообще на разрыв аорты. Главное - это мощнейший посыл к прекращению войн ! Одного не учёл ДИМАШ : в нынешней ситуации речи диктатора хотелось бы услышать на русском языке для полноты эффекта данного мини-фильма. Один сумасшедший роzzийский лидер, так же как в этом фильме воинствующий диктатор, - путин развязал чудовищную войну против соседнего суверенного государства Украины под надуманным предлогом защиты своей страны от мифического врага. Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢 Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History. The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from her mother…, they were all torn by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony. I thought it was young Dimash who saved his friend who became the one who started the war. In my mind by the older dimash killing him it seemed just since he was the one who had saved him. I could be way off base though.
Yes, Dimash gave his friends the necklace as an appreciation for saving his life and as his life long friendships. Unfortunately, when Dimash's friend was rejected by the girls o the beach in the beginning, he was resentful and took a different path in life. Yes - this is about the message - not the voice. Dimash has always said he regards his voice as only one element, one instrument he brings 'in service of' the message / the story, and of course this is the most critical story of our time. He is right. Humanity is following populist self-serving, despotic aggressive and territorial 'leaders' { 'Pipers' } headlong toward the Extinction Cliff'. He forces us to open our eyes and Care. It's too easy to say; 'Oh Dear! ' but it's happening 'over there'... and look away. There is no 'over there'. We are all living under this One Sky - on this one spinning ball of rock in space { this single 'Pale Blue Dot' }. He shows a group representing all of humanity and all religions moving TOGETHER toward the light - toward a new future. This is NOT about shedding a tear, or communing in just a moment of connection with our common humanity - but then clicking away a minute later to something more 'entertaining'. Dimash doesn't ask us to be speechless or silent - but to Speak Up. To Act. To each do what we can, in small or large ways, to work together to turn this around and to Choose Life. Is it such a big ask? Don't most of us simply want a sane and safe world for ourselves and our loved ones to be happy and productive? This song is perfection both emotionally and vocally. To me, and I'm sure to many, it's the best thing anyone has ever sung and recorded, and the most valuable. There may still be questions about why so many people believe that Dimash is the best? I don't know, maybe only a robot will be emotionless after watching and listening to this video. I've lost count of the reactors who are just overwhelmed.. They stare blankly, but are just human... Setting the emotion to the max with the heartbeat, a child drowning, as on the Singer stunned many like rabbits in headlights.. I cannot imagine how I would react with their level of Dearness devotion.. Most people avoid talking about the death of children.. the film is based on a story written by Dimash with his own screenplay. (I worked on this piece for 3 years). Director Alina Veripya spoke about creating the music video for the new song: the clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. Dimash sang this song live for the very first time at a concert organised for the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, in September 2022. Here is the symbol meaning of the pendant; The metallic element that the boy "Dimash" used to make the pendant is a gnomon of a sundial of a maritime compass, the triangular blade is attached to the sundial in such a way that it casts a shadow on it and the hole is drilled lets in the sunlight, thus projecting its image. This gnomon was used both to navigate and to measure time and timing, it marks the true north and served as an orientation for navigators so as not to lose their way and to guide people. In addition, the name of the town, Wallenberg, is meant to remind us of the German town in WWII that was the last stand of the German army where the US army fought the Germans and killed every man, woman and child in the town. Dimash loves loves all people, all nations, all religions.... and his message that we all live in this world together under the same sky. Our hearts should not be devided by borders and idiologies. A very small amount of people dictate (pipers) what happens to the rest of us and how they think we should kill or hurt each other. Dimash asks us to choose life and do not follow these false pipers that lead so many to slaughter or distruction. This old lady loves Dimash as if he is her own son and am so grateful for his gifts and strength to use his gift to try to make the world a better version of itself. This was the most emotional reaction I seen to this video! I was right there with you in every emotion! It took him 3 years so compose and he also wrote the script to the video. I so hope I can see it live sometime. If you dident gett some what happend...here are some of how I see it..Dimash was the little boy that was saved and the girl become Dimash wife and there dother that was killed of soldiers from the man that was the boy that saved Dimash. That man was angry and desperat becouse he loved the girl/woman to and she shoose Diamssh! So he started the war in Dimash town do to that. The women giving birth with Dimash and her son died during the birth. There son grow up in the end to unite every human and every religion to a peacefull and loving life. In April 1945 at the end of World War II the town had been occupied for a last-ditch stand by the Wehrmacht against the advancing United States 3rd army, and was almost completely destroyed by American artillery. Postwar efforts have reconstructed some historic buildings. Dimash also sang John Lennons "Imadgine" that the time is over for dream about peace we have to act. Спасибо за реакцию. Димаш в этом произведении превзошёл себя : его музыка, его вокал, его сценарий, его актёрская работа, его продюссерская работа - всё выше всяких похвал. Работа всех участников съёмочной группы, музыкантов, бэк-вокалистов - всё в превосходной степени. Рекомендую также посмотреть живое выступление с концерта в Алмы-Аты.Это вообще на разрыв аорты. Одного не учёл ДИМАШ : в нынешней ситуации речи диктатора хотелось бы услышать на русском языке для полноты эффекта данного мини-фильма. Один сумасшедший роzzийский лидер развязал чудовищную войну против соседнего суверенного государства Украины. ДИМАШ как будто побывал на войне в Украине ! That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. (Requiem means: Funeral, Funeral Mass, Funeral Service) Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character and his 2 friends are linked in eternal friendship through childhood stories and a symbol (necklace). One day, the friend saves the protagonist when he is drowning. However, there is already competition in this children's story as the boys are in love with the girl and she chooses 'Dimash'. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work. The second experiences a kind of nervous breakdown and transfers the children's problems into the world of adult totalitarianism and struggle. By becoming President, the antagonist (Piper - in reference to the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin') carries within himself the idea of a war to save: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.” The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together. When I saw your emotion at the beginning of the song, I wondered how you would endure the rest of the song... This music video is the message of Dimash to the world, and he said how difficult and painful the creation was for him. When we know how peace, respect and life are important to him, we can imagine it. These are my views on this amazing masterpiece The Story of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent. Rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace. This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

So beautiful, so painful, so true of what's happening in our world. This message is so powerful. Dimash said not so long ago, we haven't seen anything yet and that he is different... I think he is so brave and don't know of any other artist who would put their soul beliefs out for all the world to see. He spent 3 years composing this and wrote the script. No doubt had a major hand in the lyrics too. He always credits people for their input. I've been a Dear for nearly 4 years and I can say with hand on my heart I will follow him and support him in everything he does. He is a blessing in these troubled times. Dimash has always been very vocal about his anti war and pro peace and it started when Kazakhstan had an uprising last year , then followed with Ukraine vs Russia . When he restarted his solo concerts after the worldwide pandemic, he spoke about war vs peace. Going 3 years back, he started composing this song and completed when he was ready to make a music video of this song which the story is depicted here. I was always very concerned about his open discourse of war which I surely understand him and a lot of people in the world feel the same thing. He is a well known figure in the word due to his music that captivated millions of people across the spectrum. I always say deep in my heart that I hope he doesn’t get into trouble about this but if he is the one who can reach the masses talking about peace, then let it be. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But indispensable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the littel boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby (and not the dead Dimash walking in afterlife) that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. My response will focus on a heartbroken, frustrated & downright angry young man's urgent message not the phenomenal vocals he ordinarily is lauded for as this is what Dimash has instructed us to do, as well as, to promote it by sharing it far & wide & no one will not be allowed to react and/or share this one! My understanding is that there will be no blocking by him or his team! If you are blocked please let me know. DQ wants it shared and a global dialogue to ensue on how to establish & keep a "World Without War!" There's a lot to unpack & dependent upon a person's frame of reference, their interpretation of the video & DQ's message will undoubtedly be colored by their own preconceptions & life experiences, etc. My interpretation of his message this far is as follows: DQ's phenomenal 9-23-22 Almaty live performance of this composition and this MV are prophetic masterpieces of transcendental pro-planet/antiwar art activism & downright spiritual experiences wherein Dimash issues a sincere, passionate yet, heartbreaking call to action to "learn to love" one another again as we were taught as children & to stop --- all conflicts, all aggression, all wars --- for the real fight before us requires us to unite globally & engage in the fight to save our Mother Earth, "the sacred womb" from which all life sprung! I think of it as a 'project' or one of his 'works'. It's so much more than a song or a video. It's a masterpiece... the perfect marriage of music, film, and story. The cinematography and acting was top level. Most importantly, it makes people feel. It sparks discussion and even action. This is Dimash's soul that we are seeing and hearing, more than anything that he's ever done before.
