How to Make a Parachute - DIY Easy Plastic Parachute

How to turn a plastic bag into a parachute that is very easy to make and super effective. This easy homemade parachute out of a trash bag (garbage bag) will open up in the air, fly and land like a real parachute.

  • After you do the cut, don't unfold it, poke a pencil or a sharp object through it so you have all your holes once you unfold it and they are all even. Just be carfull you don't tear the plastic doing this.

  • You haven’t made parachutes until you’ve made them from napkins, balloon string, tape, and Sharpie markers for weight!

    • I use it because of its weight so i can throw the parachute high at the same time an eraser is a lot safer in case it falls back down on someone’s head or damage a cars or any other property

  • Nicely done! Looks like a lot of work stringing it up...then worry about the parachuter getting tangled in the strings. I love your idea of inserting an eraser for added weight. Well done! Thanks! :-) 👍👌

  • instead of tying the string all together i tied it to a rubber band and put the rubber band on a plastic cup so u could carry things
