It was amazing, but WAAAY too loud, at least in my cinema.
I felt the exact same way. Loved it. The effects are brilliant. The fight sequences are extraordinary. Too many critics these days with films. Well he was being assisted by that satellite thing before the fat kid (I forgot his name) poured whiskey into it, that’s why mecha g got wrecked after that, because he didn’t know how to use his body
kevin got mixed with the super computer and i think kevin stole the guys memories when he fried his brain?
@@SamkoKalajdzini the novelisation says that Kevin’s consciousness basically ate Serizawa’s consciousness whole, from what I’ve heard. Also, I imagine that it’s a simple matter of Kevin just… knowing how to use the body he’s in, basically instinctively. All the various hidden weapons would be akin to simple muscle memory, most likely. No different from, like, knowing how to move your fingers or open your mouth.
My interpretation is that's actually serizawa who's doing all the fighting and using the knowledge he has of mechagodzilla's arsenal, and kevin is moreso just mind controlling him to just kill by any means
Kong instinctively knowing how to pop his shoulder back in is badass
That likely means, this ain't his first time dislocating a shoulder. And the fact he has the pin tolerance to do it by himself is impressive on its own. Got to be one hard badass to do that.

Man I feel you but I'm like, the opposite of that If you put a sign up and it's like 30 ft away good luck getting me to understand what it says without me getting closer lol
It’s okay bud I wouldn’t be able to read a stop sign while driving.
The difference here is that Kong's eye is absolutely massive, he has a lot more cells attached to his eye then we do. An eye of that size can receive a hell of a lot of light, whereas our eyes are very small in comparison and can only absorb so much light. If you shrink the eye even further eventually you can't even see specific frequencies of visible light because the eye is too small. So with our tiny eyes we may have difficulty spotting a mosquito doing sign language a couple feet away, but an eye the size of Kong's may have the capability of seeing a lot more detail than ours can in comparison And considering the surface area on the back of their eye is hundreds of times larger than ours, it would also imply they have trillions more Cone and Rod cells
I love how the Monsterverse series slowly went from "Giant monsters that endure physical limits" to "Even though they're 500ft tall they can move around like Naruto characters" over the course of like, two movies.
i'm pretty sure the movies are getting more into the kaijus side view, big things see them moving smooth, but smaller things can literally see more frames per secound in real life so for them big stuff look slow.

I like how all the buildings are either crumbly styrofoam or super-solid blocks of concrete, depending on what the scene needs at the moment.
My theory as to why those buildings around where the fight between G vs K and G, K vs Mecha happened were sturdy is because they are stronger and designed to withstand wind and earthquakes which are also newly constructed, while those fragile buildings were residential flats constructed probably 15-30 years ago.

MechaG is not that strong, he was beating the fuck out of godzilla because when Godzilla does atomic breath into hollow earth (kong's home) he uses too much energy and strength, lowering his power, letting Mecha win against him until kong arrives. If the humans didn't help kong and revive him, mecha would have killed Godzilla, and yet the humans helped kong, and Kong's axe can absorb godzilla's atomic breath and it destroys mecha and kills mecha. I mean one of the biggest reasons why Gman was having so a hard time is that Mecha has longer and bigger arms by a lot, giving him way more reach and keeping Gman at a controlled distance. That strength and reach is what Godzilla couldn’t compete to. It’s also why Kong could stand up a fight against Godzilla. Kind of like how the T Rex was defeated by the Spinnosauras for the same reason in Jurassic Park 3.
So mechazillakong is what they should have made
@@koolstuff6931 that would be very over powered
@@koolstuff6931 ah yes, a robot that can kill godzilla, use atomic breath, running fast, climbing building, and have an axe, what could go wrong?
I always say that Godzilla has strength and endurance while Kong has speed and mobility. Mechagodzilla has all of the above.
Mechagodzilla have internet. He googled it before fight godzilla and kong.
1:29 For those who didn't know: MechaGodzilla has saw blades on its fingers
Yooo, I just noticed that! Good catch!
They are called buzz saws And he also has grinders in his mouth that can shred through flesh.
@@meli-melo9759 yeah. MechaGodzilla is armed to the teeth. Litterally.
Anyone else notice how Godzilla tried to take Mechagodzilla’s hand out of his mouth before Kong showed up?
let's appreciate that how much badass looking the shoulder relocating moment was 💀🔥
I like how godzilla powered up kongs weapon/axe intentionally, really just shows how intelligent these kaijus are.
Fr tho
I also like how the Axe did little to no damage until Gman powered it up then Kong was able to kick some MechaGman ass
@@_TripleChanger-Achilles_ I like the way you call them Gman and MechaGman
@@user-pl7ym9ix7k thanks....I try to shorten the names.... Besides Kong tho
@@_TripleChanger-Achilles_ 😂
The fight literally leveled an entire city. It would take nearly a full decade to rebuild everything.
Is no one going to mention that King Kong just Mortal Kombat’d MechaGodzilla with the head pull at the end?! So hilarious, I laugh every time!! Why would there need to be part of the spine with it?! It could have just been the head! 🤣🤣
I feel as though the lack of music makes this fight more RAW
Yeah, it feels more grounded imo. And it really captures how powerful and huge these creatures are. Gives me chills all the time thinking about it.
Kevin: You took everything from me! But now, not even Mothra can save you... Godzilla: Wait how do you know she died you weren't there (kinda) Kevin: Shut up 1:13 Kong: Wait... That's the guy who asked me to Join him! Wait... oh crap thats the guy who tried to Kill Godzilla!
Lol
What references is this??? or just made up?
@@discodragons3 Sort of an Endgame reference and a callback to how Kong ignored the Alpha call from Ghidorah
@@BeDatAPickle aight
Awesome comment
Swear Kong’s pain tolerance must be freaking unmeasurable to be able to put a dislocated arm back in place
My favorite part is when kingkong eyeballs that helicopter at the end like if I had enough energy you'd be dead
Mecha: Now you're finished!! Kong: Leeroy Jenkins!!! Gman: monke...why?
Zilla: you saved me...why? Kong: mmm monke
Monke and Lizurd strong together.
@The Troll Face love it
@The Troll Face well godzilla is a whale and a monke too
As always the cameraman sitting safely inside the chopper captures everything.
1:31 yo that yellow beam was a nice touch, and was there a faint space Godzilla roar as the beam went off?
Never realized how much mecha g sounded like ghidorah when he was getting chopped up
2:24 You can see Godzilla's ribcage as Mechagodzilla knees him.
Nice little Detail...U noticed Good..
Bro nice detail. Good eye
You can see kongs too at 2:38
That's badass
He looks like he put on some weight there lol big stomach
Mecha : You cannot defeat me Godzilla : I know.. but he can 🔥
Yes that true
They worked together, Godzilla and Kong.
@@daniela-xf7kz yes that true
@@daniela-xf7kz Although true you have to admit Godzilla didn't do much because he was tired and worn out the only thing he did was grab Mechagodzilla's arm and powered Kong's axe
@@elharvey5032 that still teamwork. Godzill a still do shits
