Downhill is back! Round one of the UCI Downhill World Cup is about to get underway in the ICONIC Fort William venue. The sun is out (???) and the riders are ready to get on track for training tomorrow.

really, how was it for the coverage honestly? Can you give a detailed review? I am on the fence as there is no free trial of Max currently. I don't want to waste money supporting crap coverage.
I'm a few years younger than Greg. The moment he riteres it will feel like the countdown just started for me as well. Hope he will go on for a long time.
I think the rising star of Jackson Goldstone will fill that gap in all honesty.
He'll probably race 2-3more years maximum at WC level if I had to guess. Pro sports at that level are brutal, especially at an older age.
Really like to see these new press conferences, especially with downhill Southeast doing them as well. I think it provides great platform for riders personalities to show and get some broader perspective on the racing. Kinda like a formal wynTV

Love this! Great to hear from the riders :) even if the fox outfit doesn’t gain time as such if it’s more comfy for an individual it may mean a better race run indirectly. Certainly not everyone can pull that look off Tahnèe is the queen!
Its great that there is this new content, just a shame I can't actually watch the final without paying for a sports channel that I wouldn't use otherwise.

If you haven't seen the detailed interviews of Greg's team change, check the detailed ones out. I feel like this question could be more unique and gone into something unique about how him being on Norco will change his outlook on his riding at Fort William.
seemed like they wanted him to regurgitate and recap for everyone who hasn't seen or heard news that were hiding under rocks. UCI seems a bit out of touch.

Apparently the junior and semi finals will be live streamed on YT but the pro races will be behind paywalls and it's fucking confusing as they were on gcn+ last yr. but apparently that shut down last nov. ..?? So I'm not sure any more...Discovery + in Europe?... anyone else weigh in....??
Ok so in USA you have to pay for the MAX streaming svc. . It's $10/ mo. For basic account with ads....for a short time that includes something called BR Sports which is what actually carries the races, no info on how long we get free BR Sports channel with a basic sub. But ......when it stops being free, it will be another $10 per mo. I just signed up I'll quit it as soon as the season ends,
QUESTION: How do Americans watch Fort Bill DH race live???
It is broadcast on MAX with an add on called B/R Sports. I have read/heard that MAX has B/R Sports for a short time without having to actually add it. It will be included for a short time.

Do not retire Greg, f conformity and ageists. You are not old and you are dopeAF. I love seeing you show these kids up every year. Mtb lacks diversity, it is ageist, sexist, every ist. You are breaking that mold and you continue to be a leader of the sport. There are few leaders in mtb, i know you didnt choose that position, but you are it. Keep being dope. Santa Cruz lost big time getting rid of Greg. A true treasure and the knowledge he can bring to a team, even if not in a racing role is un measurable. Huge mistake from the "syndicate"
