Broken on defense, bad on offense? What is your call, I am not sure 😅
On one hand he seems pretty broken just because you essentially need two different cards to kill it if it's protected by literally anything and wizard is actually really strong when not accounting for how fragile it is, but on the other hand the explosion radius is relatively small and half the time you play the card it's still regular shitty wizard, so I'm unsure. My read is that it's gonna be broken, specially in things like beatdown, and probably everywhere executioner used to be good at, but probably not *THAT* broken
dissapointment, i expect dual shooting fireballs/ bouncing fireballs/ summons fire spirits ect..
I'm still not sure its better than executioner. I dont think people will want to use an evo slot on it
The explosion is kind of pointless on a ranged troop. Wizard still getting the wizard treatment 😂
My guess is to put Evo Wizard into decks originally with executioner
2:20 The interaction you’re thinking of is battle ram. Lightning kills the ram and the 2 barbs because they’re separate entities. Shielded units are just one entity so that’s why lightning only strikes them once to kill the shield.
Same with phoenix. Kills both the bird and the egg.
Midladder players gonna quit the game for sure.

I think this is sorta smart though, since this evolution isn't that good at stopping the Wizard counters used in midladder (megaknight, minipekka, possibly E-barbs) while being good at preventing wizard from dying instantly to spells, which are more common as wizard counters than in midladder. So like you don't have to buff wizard and make it cracked in midladder, you don't have to make a rework that could potentially upset the people that overleveled it (because this card would probably need a major change for a rework to work), the evolution isn't as broken in midladder while still being good in higher ladder, and since you have to play the bad normal wizard first to get the evolution it might not even be THAT absurdly busted on release. It still seems like this Evo is going to break wizard for a while in beatdown and a lot of decks that used to use the executioner but we'll see. Also I guess it's pretty good against the midladder mini tanks I mentioned because the knockback on the shield is so big, but still not that effective (and also let's be real the knockback is the first thing that's getting nerfed if this guy ends up needing a nerf, and I'm pretty sure it will)

His evo form will show its full potential in beatdown deck. He seems to be unkillable when there's a tank in front of him

@@mortenroyaleENGmonk is a bit more expensive but I think monk is perfect with evo wizard to keep his shield up a bit longer with his ability and wizard could also protect the monk from swarms...

@@TrollerNinja69420executioner isn't the most remembered card neither by the community not by supercell, and we already had an executioner themed season so I'm not sure they're gonna do another one already, so I'm pretty sure Evo executioner isn't happening until years from now. Or maybe they're just gonna drop it in October and we're gonna have a repeat of October 2019 but I doubt it
@@InsertFunnyThingHerewell to be fair, nothing has truly stuck to theme of the season and anything can happen in given time. Just because one thing happened once doesn’t mean another event won’t happen. I mean, we all expected to get common evos first before anything else but we ended up getting 3 rare evos and a single epic one as well during this year alone. Like I said, anything can happen in due time.

I would say it’s good vs miner loon decks. It can push back my miner going in to snipe it. It might bounce him into wall though then he just go back to killing wizard but more Hp in that scenario pretty good
I think Wizard need a rework ... He needs a come into play damage effect like the other Wizards and it should be the highest spawn in damage cause it cost FIVE elixir!... 🍺🍁🍺

I think he should teleport back 3 tiles when the shield is broken so that he won't be easily wasted when playing on top of troops during defense
i just wish they make the shield equal to lightning dmg but they're trying to release more balanced evos so im all for it

The shield adds enough hp just to make wizard somewhat playable. The squishy issue is still there. And the explosion on a ranged troop is stupid, lol. Wizard to Ice Spirit: "hold my beer"

Honestly yeah that's a great idea. Ewiz gets stun, ice wiz gets slow down and because there isn't really a fire element to the game, they could just have him spawn with some knockback like the mk?

I’m buying the diamond pass, I’ve waited for him to be viable forever. I know he’ll get nerfed but I don’t care, I’ll be a wiz evo one trick, not because I’m mid ladder, but because I love the card, I just never get to use him because he’s so bad! God I’m so excited!!!!

they should make it so the shield recharges 10 or 12 seconds after being broken would make it a little better

Nerf it asap lol the pushback is way too strong, atleast needs a pushback nerf and maybe even a shield % nerf, 30-40%% instead of 52%. They could buff the regular version of the wizard though
3:30 that's a mistake of the game, the lightning should kill the wizard like the other troops with shield. Hope supercell fix it
