Shelter tells the story of Rin, a 17-year-old girl who lives her life inside of a futuristic simulation completely by herself in infinite, beautiful loneliness. Each day, Rin awakens in virtual reality and uses a tablet which controls the simulation to create a new, different, beautiful world for herself. Until one day, everything changes, and Rin comes to learn the true origins behind her life inside a simulation.

  • I had to cry really hard because it reminded me of my young daughter who passed away a year ago. Especially as a young dad in my early 20s, it's quite challenging, but this video somehow gives me hope. Knowing that she is somewhere as safe as depicted in this fantastic short film.

  • when i found this song it was a couple of months after my dad died, he gave me shelter and love but now he's gone. I don't think I've ever cried so much to a song, it hit so personally at the time and still now; it's still one of my favorite songs.
