  • The beating he took in the first Margarito fight would have left a lot of great fighters shot. The beating he took against Pacquiao would have have left many great fighters shells of themselves. He took both those beatings within a year and a half of each other, and still went on to capture the middle weight crown. Speaks to his greatness.

  • Increíble, no soy fan del reggaeton ni mucho menos pero tengo que reconocer que casan perfectamente la música con el vídeo, y la guinda al pastel es el pequeño speech de Jim Lampley cuando Cotto anunció su retirada justo después de perder contra Sadam Ali, incluso con un desgarro en el bíceps terminó el combate.   • It was trully a honor to see Cotto fight live many times. Putting an alarm at night to watch fights of Pac, May, Marquez, Cotto and others. Cotto and Pac were my favourites. Cotto was unlucky to be active in an era with May and Pac, otherwise he would have been undisputed for a long time. Cotto was always classy. A real man of God

  • Cotto fought prime Canelo Pacquiao and mayweather and didn't dodge them. Stood toe to toe for 12 rounds with everyone. Not many fighters can do that. Real warrior and he was a smart boxer as well. He will never be forgotten

  • Me acuerdo una noche donde sali con mis panas al San Juan Hotel Club. Cotto se encontraba ahi, y obviamente lo vi ahi como un rey. Festejando con gente alrededor. Siempre me dije: Que hace aquí y con familia en la casa? Luego vi un video de el donde el se arrepintió de como manejaba su vida egoístamente. Dando un cambio drástico para enfocarse en su familia. Gracias a Dios, pudo darse cuenta y volverse la persona que es hoy en día.
