  • Please make a video of pure pekiti kali vs mma. I dont think its about d teknik, its about how u use it. If u say u'l get destroyed lyk wat uv said, its like saying its not efective & wats d use for training.. all wil be useless..

  • Great work guys amazing. I have a question: why go on the inside and be in reach of both the opponents arms? When you can go on the outside of your opponent and be in an angle of more leverage and take the back. 2 ways I've learned is that sometimes it's better to go on the inside if you face multiple opponents and can't go on the outside Or you practice it anyway, so if a defense situation ever happens, you have it in your muscle memory. Pugay! .

    • Thank you so much for your insightful comment! Some of the techniques are admittedly more for demonstration purposes. We 100% agree on your observations on when to go to the inside and when to go outside. You seem to have actual fighting experience, brother!

    • Hi! Guro Isagani will be with you to answer your question. I'm sorry I can't answer it myself. I haven't been able to study Silat yet :)

      @MrNpalapas@MrNpalapas5 жыл бұрын
    • Jinggoy, Kali and Silat are very similar, like cousins. Some of the movements are identical. But Silat is vast and there are hundreds of styles, some that focus on striking, others on grappling, others on knife or other weapons.

    • DOFA u have ignorance level 10000, come here and i will show u how kali kills in a second.

      @hybridboxing193@hybridboxing1935 жыл бұрын
    • DOFA . You're so cleaver man ! Who would stand in front of a guy who is punching your face ? Oh , wait a minute, isn't it what happens in western boxing pro tournaments ? And Isn't it what you can see in recorded street fights ? Man, how can you be so blind ? When you miss hit a guy, you're still in the way to get hit back by him, and after the first hit, the guy can hit you twice before you could move to escape. Filipino martial artists are really skilled in street fights you can trust them on how to face both an armed and unarmed agressor.

    • Ric, one thing at a time. There are counters to these movements, and there are counters to the counters. But do you think you can absorb all that in one video?
