Resident Evil Village (RE8) Lucky Number 7 | How to Acquire Exactly 777 Lei
In order to have exactly 777, 7,777, or 77,777 Lei easily in Resident Evil Village, you'll need to spend all your available Lei to get to zero, which is the tough part. After that, just sell 111 crafted Rifle ammo for 7 Lei each. You will need to have purchased the WCX from the extra content shop and then the matching rifle ammo recipe from Duke before you can craft the ammo.

For those who are confused selling rifle ammo for 200 Lei. Eventually you’ll be able to buy a rifle ammo crafting kit for assault rifles from Duke. They show 3 bullets in your inventory instead of 1. They’re both called rifle ammo, but there’s Sniper Rifle and Assault rifle ammo. When you craft assault rifle ammo, you make 20 bullets at a time, and they sell for 7 Lei a piece. My suggestion after getting to 0 Lei, is selling one Magnum bullet for 700 Lei, then selling 11 Assault rifle bullets for 77 Lei. I just did this and decided to come back to this video to clear up some confusion. I noticed other people were having this same issue. Hope it helps if anyone needs it 👌
I got mine by getting to 0, then selling 5 lockpicks, 3 first aid, 4 handgun ammo, the Dragoon, and 1 rifle ammo. You don't need a lot of Rifle ammo. Just 1 to get the last 7.

This guide makes it look easier, now i just need a guide for the countdown and anniversary trophy/challenge
The hardest part for Countdown the 21 at the end and that can be solved the same way. 3 AR ammo for 21 Lei, a bomb or a mine for 300, and then whatever you've got for the last 54,000. As for Anniversary present you can sell 6 handgun ammo to get you to 54,411, another bomb and some shotgun ammo will get you to 54,911, and then you're just a couple thousand off which you can hit pretty easily. Hope this helps!

Trust me castle 2 was the hardest for me. As long as you get the first 2 two areas done with the full combo you should be able to miss a few in the last 2

If you have millions of lei and have completed the game with multiple infinite ammo weapons and with little to nothing now to spend does it allow the achievement as long as you just have 777 at that moment in time?

This is difficulty specific which you should put in the description, its not possible on village of shadows all ammo is worth 200 each, nothing is worth 7 its also probably not doable on hardcore either

I agree i am on xbox one and nomatter completions, which vendor spot, or difficulty the Rifle ammo sells for $200. In fact nothing sells for an odd number period, everything is even like 200 400 1000 1500 ... it's bullshit lol

luckily i had 350 lei so i sold 61 rifle ammunition for 7 lei each & i ended up totaling 777 lei

Couldn't you have sold 8 pistol rounds... obtained 120 lei putting you at 150. Bought a box of pistol rounds at 150 to zero out. And then sold the rifle ammo haha. Deffinetly helpful using that rifle ammo idea though!

If you make a save before doing this, can you complete the achievement/challenge and then quit back to the main menu and reload your save so that you’re back to where you were before and still have it count?
Absolutely
The challenges are saved separately (as they are also the trophies somewhat), so that you can use the CP in the extra content shop. So indeed by any chance you need to fe. stack up on enemy kills or something you can still save before an event and replay if you need more kills or obtain more of some items.

I can’t buy the recipe for rifle Ammo the duke doesn’t have it. I only have sniper rifle Ammo. And I can’t sell anything for 7 lei
just got it ugh i almost had a heart attack. i had to sell everything in my inventory because i stacked up on first aids, pipe bombs, and mines so i wasn’t able to buy from the duke because i’d ran out of room. thankfully after buying, i was left with 30 lei like in the video, but didn’t have the shotgun ammo in my inventory to balance everything out, so i had to restart and buy that from the duke and save it til the end, then it was smooth sailing from there because i had enough materials to craft what i needed. ngl i panicked a little since i wasn’t sure if i’d have to start over again or not

Got this trophy today with 7,777 Lei. Mercenary mode is kicking my ass though, especially the factory level. Might be a platinum blocker for me.
Factory 2 is the most bullshit, after that the last level is a cakewalk in comparison. Buy the magnum and use 3 shots (2 if you can line them up) on the sisters. Then use the rest of the magnum ammo on the Panzers and Jets. Don't bother buying the launcher it's a waste of money. Other than that make sure you upgrade the pistol's fire rate to full and cross your fuckin finger's cause you need to get lucky with the perks.
Honestly it wasn’t that bad (for me atleast) you can get enough points in the first phase aslong you keep the combo up running all the way, just find the optimal route and practice. Once you get enough points just die in the next phase if all you care about is the trophy or you can try get the double ss for the lightsaber but that’s up to you.
still easier than the hooligan trophy which is bugged for three of my playthroughs so far

Actually super easy IF you can get to 0 money. If you can get the money down to zero, just create 120 of rifle ammo and cycle through until it says 777. I had an abundance of resources after my first playthrough, so just drain all of your money if you can down to 0 and then craft rifle ammo.
I had 70 lei left over so this was easy for me all i had to do was sell 707 lei worth of ammo and boom no math for me! Thank you tho

Here’s another way… start out with 500lei.. sell 1 shotgun ammo then sell 14 lei worth of rifle ammo…. Keep selling until u have 770 lei then sell one rifle ammo and you’ll have 777 lei

Technically you could just up/down earn to 700 and then sell 11 rifle bullets, couldnt you? minimise the amount of crafting and mats required? EDIT: Made easier, Start a new run, and don't collect any Lei during the intro, but collect handgun ammo lying around (should be easy since you should have an inf ammo weapon if you're in a second or later run and done enough runs to care about these smaller challenges) make it to the first store and sell two stacks of pistol ammo to get you to 900. Buy the WCX to put you at 700 and that'll unlock the ammo craft recipe to buy, continue through the game until you get treasures to sell for 10k and the mats for the rifle ammo, sell 10k of treasures to buy recipe, make the 20 rifle rounds, sell 11 to get you to 777.
but wouldn't you lose your recipes if you were to start a new game? infinite ammo doesn't give you actual ammo so you wouldn't have any rifle ammo to begin with.

I ended up spending and getting the trophy literally 5 minutes after making my comment. Now to S the last 3 Mercenaries and get that platinum and never play this again lol. Unless DLC comes out. I’ve already beat the game 6 times.

Dude, my rifle ammo is selling for 200 🤔
Ahh so I figured out there’s 2 types of rifle ammo, there’s the single bullet pictured ammo for the Sniper rifle. Once you unlock the assault rifles, you can buy a different rifle ammo crafting kit from Duke that shows 3 bullets instead of one. This is for assault rifle ammo, you craft 20 at a time when using the kit. Each of those rounds sell for 7 a piece.

@@ASlipknotFreak Once I got Mag infi ammo (and snipers and grenade launchers) I would sell everything other than the knife and med heals because you don't need space for anything else. Buying WCX weapon from extra content shop lets me buy recipe for its bullets from duke which costs 7 per bullet to sell so you can get your odd numbers in value from there. Karambit knife and wcx costs 200 but sell for 190 so you can get slightly lower value instead of selling everything. Tip: If your inventory is more than half full then you have way too much on you and check the map very often so you don't miss out on treasures which if you have most of then it's essy to get 2 million Lei by the end of your initial playthrough.
