    • YES! I've been listening to Putmayo for many years. Someone I know inherited a bunch of it as well. You are so right! They're careful & highly aware of making coherent cohesive Collections and artwork. If it's a Putmayo album, I will even enjoy music of a type I don't normally like, bc it's so well curated & matched together.

  • es algo curioso, porque la salsa proviene del jazz con la musica cubana, por tanto de por si la salsa ya seria como un "jazz latino"

    • Pues sí, la salsa es un género derivado del jazz latino, específicamente el jazz afrocubano. Pero la salsa también tiene influencias del R&B y el funk, y se originó específicamente en Nueva York a partir de comunidades de Cuba y Puerto Rico establecidas ahí.
