That unleashing years worth of water video is the first one of yours I ever watched back in 2021! Hard to believe I've caught just about every video for 3 years now.
💗so adorable!!! Calf running up to meet you for his bottle.
And the calf running away with the bale wrap! 😂
That calf loves daddy Cole ,,,
Time flies when you are having fun ... doesn't seem like it has been 4 years already since the mega million view video :) Watching Sonne Farms videos is some of the best time I've ever spent. Thank you so much!
thank you for all the support William!
I found Sonne Farms because of that video!?!? It's been a great 3 years! Keep at it my friend!
My husband and I were just discussing how we love your videos. Even when it’s just every day chores, it’s always interesting !! Then I saw the calf run away with the bale net and almost fell out of my chair laughing 🤣 When you said “spit that out” I laughed even harder. Another winner 🏆
Calf wanted to have some fun with you cole. Thanks for sharing this with us. Hope your parents are having a good time
I am really happy to see you get all that rain; you have been suffering from drought far too long. As far as purchasing equipment is concerned, practicality trumps brand loyalty. You did the right thing.
Case is head and shoulders better than Junk Deere...no I'm not a Case guy, I prefer Caterpillar, Tigercat and New Holland
25% of viewers are hitting the thumbs up button on this one. That is a much higher rate than most KZhead videos manage. Congratulations on generating great content while making a good at farming.
Praying for all our farmers for good weather and optimum moisture!!And good pries at harvest!
You and your Dad are most certainly a one of a kind pair of gentlemen!! Love watching your videos!!
I’m not a farmer. Unless something crazy happens I never will be. But, I tell everyone I’m a farmer because of all the farmers I follow on KZhead. Don’t worry about doing the same job over and over again. I enjoy watching it since it’s the closest I’ll ever get to doing it myself
I have always known farmers & ranchers work on tight margins and it's got to be a great sense of pride to be able to get some newer equipment to help cut the back-breaking work to a manageable level. Glad to see you using your KZhead money to expand your family farm/ranch by showing the city folk how much effort is put into feeding our nation's citizens 🎉🎉
OMG, Has it really been 4 years?? Such an entertaining channel Cole and I have watched it grow and grow. I had to chuckle when you moved the grain cart with the fork truck, it really put the size into context. That little clave had you on the run when he skee-daddled with the net wrap. I would have put a cloth lifting strap around the forks when lifting the backhoe attachment, hook the chains to it and then you dont have risky metal to metal....you taught me the saying......DANGER DOESNT TAKE A DAY OFF lol. Thank you for spending huge amounts of time making these videos Cole so we can be a part of every day Sonne life.
Been with your channel since the early days. Have not missed a video. Love this channel. Your new loader looks awesome.
Hangin' out with you Cole never gets old. ---Just look at that little critter running towards you. Conditioning has its value!---And then, you get a rowdy teenager, who wants to play keep-away!!!---Lots of wind here, rain up north is gonna cause problems on the prairie, but looks like you'll be on the fringes of bad weather.
thanks!
It was a close call if those storms would have went more west, but I think you got more rain and wind than other places around the area of your neck of the open fields of south Dakota, I live in northern Wisconsin near lake Superior's south shore and we got a lot of rain and thunderstorms and winds off lake Superior's south shore 25 mph with gusts up to 40, and then the cold weather came and warmer for the rest of the week into May, (May 1st outdoor sex starts today!!) Lol
@@genegustafson1665 Lots of wind again, for my area of Central Coast California. Warmer, then chillier again by next weekend. The rule of thumb for my area is "May Gray" and "June Gloom". We get our doldrums in September/October, & no one has air conditioning in our homes. Only cars, & businesses!
I started watching your videos regularly when you made a video using the tractor backhoe. @@SonneFarms
A 4 in one bucket on those smaller loaders is a game changer
The ditch episode was the 1st video I watched of Cole and Brian. Made me come back for more Farm adventures
Me too
As a long-time follower of Sonne Farms YT channel *and* a Case employee, it warms my heart that you’ve added a couple pieces of Case equipment. ❤
thanks for your patience!
New toys are always better. And if they’re bigger toys than the last that makes it all the better.
I was once offended by a jeweler who looked at my engagement ring and made the comment, "I admire a couple that buys a ring they can afford." Now that I'm older I understand and appreciate being smart enough to know what I can and cannot buy. You are wise beyond your years.
Love the ending.😂🇨🇦
Two of the things I found entertaining: the forklift moving the grain cart and you chasing that calf with the net wrap. Keep posting! I love it!
I can’t believe you don’t have cats running around getting all those mice. A while back you said cats don’t hang around because Ellie doesn’t like them, but there is a feast there!
Happy to see that God blessed you guys with some rain, you boys deserved it!
Thanks for another great video Cole. It was interesting and enjoyable. That mini loader you got Cole looks to be a nice clean unit. Should work good for you. If you can get a bale fork for the bucket that will be great. Nice unit. That calf you are bottle feeding came running right up to you. Cute as can be. Should be ok calf. That calf that took off running with that bale wrap was cute also. And you running after it. Cute. Your ground is really wet. Wet conditions in this video. Wow. You must have had a lot of rain. I hope your folks are having a great mini vacation in Florida. Great job Cole of moving all of the equipment to get the planter out of the shed. You had lots of equipment to move. Got the planter out and reset it for planting corn. Good job Cole. Should be about ready to go it looks like. Hook it up and start putting corn seed in the ground-yeah!!!!!! About it I guess. Thanks for everything Cole. Take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Cole, that little guy / gal gave you a run for your money, spunky and healthy calf.
Things never get old on these videos. Keep up the videos and stay safe
Nice to see new equipment. And old too. Always enjoy the videos. Thanks for sharing.
Add a Yorkie Terrier to the farm, Brain. They are relentless ratters. A good warm-hearted family dog, with an absolute hatred for all rodents. Better than a cat, traps or poisons. Nice edit, Cole.
That back hole video releasing water is what caught my eye to your channel. Been watching every video since.
Hi Cole. That video 3 years ago was the video that got me starter watching your channel. It was a random video that KZhead put up for me and so the rest is history. I watch every video now and can't wait for you to up load another. You also inspired me to do a video series called, "Gorter Brothers Adventures, about the trips my brother and I are doing into the outback of South Australia. Thanks for sharing your life with us every week. By the way, your dad and I share the same name and birth year.
Cole you’re so funny you crack me up! 😂 Love your sense of humor. Hope your mom and dad are having a great vacation. Have a good week!
RAIN ON A TIN ROOF SOUND EFFECTS OH YA NICE. Love net wrap! Thanks sir.
For the mice, get yourself a pickle bucket...a dowel rod and a jar of peanut butter. To make the trap drill a hole the size of the dowel rod through the top of the bucket on both sides near the top. Do the same with the peanut butter jar from the center of the cap down through the center of the bottom of the jar. Drill a bunch of smaller holes in the side of the peanut butter jar, the jar needs to be mostly empty so it spins easily. Thread the dowel rod through the side of the bucket then though the jar and out the other side of the bucket. Fill the bottom of the bucket with water. Hope this helps...best mouse trap I've ever used. You could maximize it's efficiency by installing multiple traps. Just make sure you check the traps daily or the mice start to rot. In the winter you can use anti-freeze, it pickles the mice and they wont rot but then they're poisonous.
cole i enjoy watching you feed your cows it shows how much you love your animals also like the new loder. but glad you are getting rain and moisture hope brian is having fun on vacation. but im glad to watch you guys farm you also learn new stuff to have a good week.
I was just remembering that the backhoe was in one of the first Sonne Farms videos I ever watched...then you got all sentimental and showed it! I've been watching ever since.
The backhoe was the 1st Sonne Farm's video I watched. I've since seen them all.
Just another go hum day on the farm. Cole you put in a lot of hours and get a hell of a lot of work done.
The more episodes I watch I am amazed how often yall use the large payloader. That looks to be a very good purchase for the farm. Thanks for another great video.
thank you
it's nice to watch videos of farmers that aren't married to just one brand of equipment.
Hey Cole, congratulations on the new piece of equipment. Looks like it is going to be a nice asset to you. That little bugger running off with that netting was funny just a big teaser worse than a cat or a puppy. Running off with stuff. Glad to hear y’all are getting the rain. Let’s pray it comes steady throughout the rest of the year when you need it. Thanks again.
I don’t really mind what you do, I just enjoy being along for the ride
When we park our combines up for winter we blow all the grain and chaff off the engine, out of the inside, and grain tank. Then we put bait chunks in the cab, threasher, grain tank, and separator. Havent had wires chewed or mice in the cab in 10+ years.
Calf runs up to get its bottle… calf runs off with the bale netting ‘come git me!’. No one can deny you are the calf whisperer. 😂
You could use a barn cat to control the mice. I, too, subscribed to your channel after viewing the famous ditch opening video. It always amazes me how much heavy equipment it takes to raise cattle. No longer just a horse and saddle, I guess.
That clave at the end keeping you in shape 😂😂💪👍. Taking care of business while the Brain is gone!!
I was one of those who found Sonne via the ditch digging video. That college kid and proud dad on display. Haven't been 100% loyal, but I have my favorite parts of the routine. And watching y'all edge upwards with bigger and more feature rich equipment is high on my list. Congrats with your growth. Hope it is checkbook more than it is credit.
Drill a hole in the end of one of the forks and mount a tow ball to keep chains from sliding off. It was a clean cab until you climbed in with the muddy pants.
🇺🇸 great to see Standing Water and Mud, better start to your planting season than the dust bowl you’ve been getting the last couple of years
The sound of that 4010 reminds me of when I was a kid going to my grandpa's farm.
G’job Cole, and kudos on your new toy…take care and God Bless🇺🇸
Nice looking payloader u got Cole
Great video, hope you get a good break in the weather for planting then bring on the rain! That calf running off with that net wrap at the end reminded me of the neiborhood dog's trying to keep an afterbirth sack all for themselves while being chased by other dogs back when I was a kid. 🤣🤣
I've watched every one of your videos over the last 3 years. I'm so happy to so how much new(er) equipment you guys have been able to get. Nice to see you are able to grow your farm.
The backhoe video was the reason I started watching your channel! I was looking to buy a backhoe for my tractor. I never did. Life got in the way!
Hi Cole and Brian and Jeff and family Great video yes 🌈☀️🐂🐂🐂🚜🚜🚛🚛 and 🌈 🌟 Storla station ⛽✨🧢👕🎁🎈🎈🎊🎉 Happy Mothers Day 💐🌹🌹💌✨👍
Did you check the oil on the generator this year, Cole?
That’s the video that I started on. Watched everyone since!
That was the first video I watched of you two with 3 point linkage digger. Fallowed ever since
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO COLE AND BRIAN 😊
Wish you had more chores for the 4010. Love listening to that one run.
awesome video Cole. thank you so much. Enjoy the new toy. Hope your mom and dad are enjoying their vacation
I remember that video! You always have great content, good humor and fun with Dad!
So nice to see moisture on the farm!
3 million views..... Wow!! It's kind of surreal wrapping my head around that. That may be more views than what "The View" gets.
?
You mean the Spew?
@@briancasey4917 yup.
I will trade rainfalls with you Cole. We got 6.96 inches in 40 hours down here east central Kansas plus we dodged too many tornadoes, way too many. We love watching you guys and your daily life on your farm
Wow! Here in Ark City we got 3.56"over the last 5 days but the first few was basically nothing... I was impressed with that! Nice!
All the little cheeseburgers running around so cute
You make the best bale feeder videos!
I will have to go back and watch that water release video. I found your channel later and have really enjoyed your videos. I am glad y’all are getting great moisture right before planting!
That was the first vid I watched. Damn time flies
We have got around 21 inches of rain here where I live in the last month. Good ole South East Texas. It goes from one extreme to another overnight.
That water video was the first video of yours I watched. Haven’t missed one yet. Great job boys
Cole playing tag with the calf… another great video. Thank you.
That backhoe shifting water is the reason I am subscribed 😢
Always love watching your videos bless y’all glad ya got some wet fields
That was the first YT I saw. I was hooked immediately!!
I will never tire of you feeding a bale of hay to the cattle. I love how they pong up to the bale and ready to munch but without the TV playing. So glad you all are getting the rain, hope it helps with the growing cycle. Did you catch up with that calf carrying off with your net wrap? I was laughing like crazy. Dang little kids.
That video where your released water was my first watch of Sonne Farms.
Nice loader, hope it serves you well. Thanks for sharing, always enjoy your videos.
Thanks for the detailed description of the double eliminator ... 😉🙂🤣
I am so happy to hear you got some good rains ahead of spring planting! You know the horn on your loader sounds pretty wimpy these days. Why don’t you install a nice “air horn” that sounds like a diesel train engine. That will get those stubborn cows a moving 😂. Have a blessed week Cole!
Great video Cole
Dude! That was the video that brought me to the channel. My backhoe was being bitchy and I was looking for ideas.
That was the video that brought me to your channel! However, I’m looking forward to the new version ❤
You are a very clever young man and hard working farmer. I suppose you can only be a farmer if you work hard. Thank you.
Great content thanks for letting us tag along
You are so comfortable doing the work all on your own. I’m so impressed! That cute calf running off with the net wrap! 😂
I never get sick of watching you guys feed cattle or whatever you guys are doing.
Love your setup on the farm!!
😂😂😂😂 ..that naughty little calf !!
thanks for being a huge inspiration to me to start sharing about our farm on youtube, love your videos!
Bale wagon looks like it could use some Cole-ganeering, similar in style to those solid gates!!!
That was one of the first vidios i saw on yojr channel, been watching ever sinse
Kinda funny. That video of opening the ditch to let the water flow with that back hoe was one of my first videos. Pretty sure that's when I subscribed.
Awesome!
Oh, good! I was worried that the rain meant you wouldn't have to show us feeding bales at Kenny's. I'm sad for whomever had to buy the hay, but that part of your routine is also now part of mine 😂 Kidding! I'm down to watching all the chores and maintenance that you do everyday or as needed.
Too funny calf takin off with the wrap! I don't mind watching you feed bales. Hope the folks are enjoying their break away. You enjoy your new toy! Sure it will earn its keep!
We wash all our equipment 3 times a week. Our tractors get washed 4 times a week and cleaned out. Gotta keep everything nice and clean.
Your baby loader looks like it will come in handy, you’ve done well holding down the fort while Mom and Dad were gone
We have some farmers down the way from us and they sell their own honey, eggs and all kinds of veggies. When I go down there it's a rainbow of colors. Red, blue, green, white, black...so I asked him what was his brand loyalty. He told me whatever is available, priced right and what we need. Other than that, there is no preference. Which is just the opposite of my uncle. His farm is 100% John Deere green. If JD doesn't make it, he don't need it are his words exactly. I believe I am more towards your system. Try to buy the green stuff, but not at the expense of availability, cost and function. Same with Caterpillar. Yes, they make the best dozer around. But for a lot less, you can buy a Case that gets the job done just fine.
won't be long and we will see a CASE tractor rolling up then 🤫, I doubt it but i do like Case IH , so nice to see you having some more rain too
Try using some dryer sheets around the combine motor. They will repell the mice! So glad to see you getting great moisture prior to planting!!
