Dear reader,
I wrote this song for my mom, dad and brother, called 'When You Were Here.' You can only find it on my 'Alyssa Jacey LIVE!' album on my website, or, now here through this live video. I opened for Joan Osborne at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA on 4/9/24. Out of the 19 years I've been playing music, all three of my mom, dad and brother have only been at a show all at the same time two, maybe three times before, so, this was incredibly special. I love my family so much, and I am so grateful to have been able to share this very special moment with them, and also the warmest, sweetest crowd at the Belly Up!
