    • Krisantus liang If you think they're scary, never meet a wolf. Truth from both sides is fundamental to exist friendship between humans and wolf. If you don't trust him but he trusts you, it will be unfair because he was trying its best to make friends and he will probably kill you. But if you notice that you trust the wolf but the wolf doesnt trust you, I think you should run as fast as possible even though it isnt enough.

    • Trust me, it’s just the fur making them look big. In the summer they look very skinny when they shed their thick coat. They had another wolf (black in colour) that looked bigger than Kekoa, but was only 27 kg (60 lbs). McKenzie Valley wolves are the largest wolf and they rarely weigh more than 63-68 kg (140-150 lbs.)

      @FreakingKilla@FreakingKilla7 жыл бұрын
    • Actually as the earth changed animals got smaller as the big ones tended to die out from a lack of food. Interestingly, humans were also pretty short a few hundred years back. We've gotten taller. I don't think humans affected the food chain enough to affect wild species size. However the domestication of the dog did make the size smaller so that it was more manageable along with less testosterone and a host of other attributes that took generation after generation to get right to make the dogs we see today.

  • To all the people saying that the wolves will attack them: Wolves attack humans for the same reasons that humans attack humans(and, I realize, the same reasons a human would attack a wolf). Fear, violation of territory, and as it turns out, revenge. Wolves are no more dangerous than humans, and as both are persistence hunters, they can mutually understand certain signals. The wolf displaying its belly is signalling submission, for example, which means that it poses no threat to the woman.

    @SingABrightSong@SingABrightSong7 жыл бұрын

Also they have become one of, if not, THE most beloved animal on the planet with most people (which don't own puppy mills and abuse dogs) treating them like family. I wouldn't blame an entire race on the greedy who try to exploit people or animals for their own financial gain.

      @SchoolRumble4ever22@SchoolRumble4ever223 жыл бұрын
    • @joe pir Look Joe, I get what you are trying to do...I clearly care about dogs...but once you're asking "what would you do's" and going back in time, you forget the reality of why dogs were domesticated in the first place and who is at fault for much of their neglect. This hypothetical situation that you've created in which you inserted numbers and statistics completely unsubstantiated isn't very useful. You're trying to argue something in hindsight as well as arguing what would be "best". That's never what we were arguing about. You argued that them evolving to be dependable on us was a bad thing for their species... At the end of the day, the numbers of abuse you've thrown out are ones you've made up to prove your point. I'm not saying it isn't high numbers but notice how I don't throw numbers out, I just try to make logical assumptions. I've watched countless pro vegan/vegetarian documentaries showing animal cruelty beyond dogs and pets. Dogs were domesticated to help with hunting, protection, work, and then companionship. It's a modern trend to buy dogs just for enjoyment, and the vast majority of animal owners don't abuse their dogs. As animal rights laws get stricter as they have substantially in just the last 100 years...dogs will increase in number and abuse will go down...

    • Unfriendly wild wolves, especially hungry ones, and an entire pack at that might quite possibly "rip your limbs off", fortunately, many wolves demonstrate great potential for friendship, and so we have dogs. Noting that, the selective breeding of dogs encouraged friendlier individual organisms over more aggressive ones. I'm glad the wolves in this video are extremely friendly with her. • Lol, they're HUGE period...The only ones I've actually been around are at my state's wildlife rescue and preserve. But, I have seen and been around plenty of coyotes since they've made their way back into my home state of West Virginia during the last couple of decades or so.. I've hunted and fished almost all of my fifty-five years of life, in almost every state east of the Mississippi. It's quite unnerving to be heading to a tree stand before dawn and hear coyotes tracking you on both sides (lol, that's the reason I no longer use any type of "doe-in-heat" spray to cover my scent as I move through the woods). Along with the "Big Cats," and black bears that inhabit this part of North America, wolves have to be one of my favorites. I hope I get to see some in their natural environment before my days here are done...just not treating me like coyotes have done lol. If one garners their attention, along with their size, you're fixin to have a very bad day. Being mostly Native American (along with a bit of Western European for flavor), I'm being totally biased in saying that the wild animals that call North America home, can't be eclipsed by any others. I would urge anybody to vacation here at home rather than overseas just once. What you'll find outside your back door is nothing short of breathtaking...(and yeah, I'm still being totally biased). Apologies for the "rant," if anybody has made it this far.

    • You know your ancestors hunted, right? They didn't have a Kroger nearby. Get over it. You need food? You hunt. Simple.

      @seanjones2456@seanjones24565 жыл бұрын
    • @@seanjones2456 Difference is though, we aren't our ancestors and DO have stores and such nearby, and therefore no reason to go shooting wildlife, this is generally why we have farms for these kinds of things as well, to ensure humane methods are used on our meat products, when you kill a cow in a farm nothing bad happens, you just get beef, when you kill say a deer in the wild, you may have just also killed it's children and risked the life of it's predators, because in nature a deer with foals will need to be able to protect said babies, and a wolf for example might need to eat that deer to survive, because it doesn't have a shop filled with meat for it to buy. Basically put, we need food, we go shopping, simple.
