I have a court appointment on 5/15. My ex wife and entire family ghosted me since the beginning of 2024. I haven’t seen my two boys since the end of January and I believe my 11 yr old is being manipulated and used against me without his knowing. I’ve gone thru an awakening and believe gods handling this.
I was robbed by a teen girl in my small town. She pretended to be my son's friend. Then stole 1000s$ of my personal sentimental belongings, some were things passed down from grandmas back when I was very young. I still cry and have massive trust issues every day... 😢 The sheriffs were zero help, and the deputy was so lame that he quit and became a middle school history teacher. Not anyone would help me. Don't ever trust someone bc they wear a uniform, a title, appear innocent or are a child! And beware of teenage Nancys. Thank u Cindy. This helps to confirm that I've been working, if only in baby steps, to find ways to heal. I sub at the school occasionally, so I can see that not all kids r bad. I learned to garden and also a part time job and a car. I'm trying to be kinder to myself and have waaay healthier boundaries. It's been tuff. 3 yrs tuff. And that's after being homeless and having to live isolated in a cabin without any amenities. I don't even want to explain all the rest. I'm just tired. And trying to work myself back together. Literally flying to visit our son today who married a young lady who didn't want us at their wedding. My son and I are super close. We really believe in family. Unfortunately, my son that was away from home for 11 years becoming a doctor has a distorted perception of his father, and doesn’t grasp how evil, calculating and targeting his father is when it comes to me. So my ex is manipulating my son to try and get at me. My ex-husband is now in a mental institution, but my son just sees that he had a mental breakdown. He does not realize that his father is a narcissist that is after me and wanting to win at all cost. Son is trying to get his father out of the mental institution and has also been toying with the notion of letting him stay with him. Not only that my other son lives there too. my youngest that is a bit naïve and just starting out in the world as a young adult. The whole situation is a bit unsettling because my ex-husband is obsessed with trying to destroy me.

My 17 year old was the word away by an older boy friend who has convinced her her entire family is evil. He manipulated her to empty her bank account and they haven't spoke to us in nearly a year. We know they are in the same town but we don't know where. He convinced her to change her appearance and her name and told her they needed to go underground so we couldn't find her. The authorities are involved but the law is on her side because of where we live. Anyway this was a very interesting reading and oddly specific. Thank you Cindy!❤

My son is a Cancer. He is being manipulated through playing video games. I try to tell him these people have jobs and get paid to mess up peoples lives. They may act like friends but that pays them well too. He sometimes seems programed to detest the sound of my voice! It's disturbing!

(Imho, once your kids are out of school, you have no obligation whatsoever to keep in direct contact with an Ex. None. Many say if u have kids with someone, you are stuck with them (the Ex) for life. No. You are not. In fact, I think it's usually very unhealthy to maintain that link. The child of course no matter the age is always your child and u r always there to help. I am a participant in an online photography group, been a member for 7 years now. I have, this year reported 2 account holders who have uploaded questionable images pertaining to children and how the photographer has captured them, thankfully, the accounts have been closed down. The payback was an indecent message left in my inbox. 10 minutes ago, I was browsing another photographic competition with the same online community group when I saw an entry which was so s*xually explicit and graphic….the girl using the s*x toy looks no older than 12 years of age. The account holder uploaded a number of images using girls who are clearly minors. I have already reported the matter to the Competition Administration Officer and asked them to go to the police. Sadly, I have noticed that the images have been up for the last 6 hours.. I am furious and trying to stay calm. I know I will be harassed again as a result.

my ex just came to pick up our kids. he decided he was changing pick up time but didn’t inform meso our oldest was pacing the driveway waiting for him. when he got here our youngest didn’t want to go with him. our oldest said he wanted to stay with mom and he said yeah like how you didn’t want to come home our last visit. then he looked at me and said he has a recording of her begging not to come home because i’m just going to scream and yell at her. i asked her if she thought that was true and if she said that and she said daddy told me that and told me to say it 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 this man’s abuse will not end. he agreed to take the kids every weekend so i could find a job for the weekends. i found one with great pay and health and dental, made sure he was still good with our arrangement and he said yes. went to go sign my contract and he changed his mind, he will only take our kids every other weekend, but also will not help with child support. the games our endless and since he has no power lest over me and nothing left to take from me he is trying to turn my kids against me and use the recordings as proof in court. evil
That's awful. Hope you are okay. What country are you in? I go through similar things. I have to keep a diary of everything he does and I keep all messages off him. I already have a court order on him but it doesn't stop him trying to control me and my kids.
