  • Regarding why the pin is plastic, Felix replied to that on Mr. Puzzle's video (he had the same question). Here is what Felix said: "The pin was originally steel, but one hard twist with the steel pin made the steel dent the edges of the brass maze, expanding the brass enough to cause the central piece to stick."

    • I thought it'd be something like that plus plastic is naturally smoother and wouldn't need lubing all the time for an easy movement.

Stay safe and sane in this madness... I know I'm scared out of my mind but that doesn't help.. • Hey Chris! I'm a huge fan of the puzzle videos you make. I was always super impatient as a kid and it was when I was young when I had my first experiences with these puzzles so I didn't enjoy them. Now that could not be further from the truth. To be honest, my life is falling apart. And I struggle with PTSD and chronic depression and I want you to know that no matter how hard my life gets watching you solve puzzles makes me feel like I am not alone. I really wish I could afford to start getting a collection of them going but I'm unemployed and I'm living in an abandoned building that just so unbelievably lucky for me still has power and a working toilet so I don't feel like Im totally alone and down and out. Thank you for everything you do!
