i find it amazing there are any shrimp actually left in our oceans after watching this
Most of the shrimps sold at stores are farmed. Wild shrimps are much more rare and expensive
@@HAMID___ what is the difference between a wild one and a farmed one?
top
@@emeksb.859 the wild ones live free in the oceans, and the farmed ones live on a farm and get fed by shrimp farmers.
@@ryanjones7681 Living on a farm they probably all have names.....lol :)
It's really amazing that they can shoot it underwater and a distance away from the ship
Incredible underwater shots! 🌊📷
Not really. Even cheap GoPro cameras can shoot under water
Nothing is impossible, I can catch more of them, just watch me
Thank God !! I born, raised and still reside in New Orleans, Louisiana USA 😍. Where our Seafood is Fresh daily 😉👍. Thank You for Sharing Your Very Informative Video👏👏👏. Peace and Multiple Blessings to You 💯🥰😉👍⚜⚜⚜💗💗💗💗
One day I will make my way to 'the big easy' to enjoy Shrimp n Grits, Po'boys, Beignets, Seafood Gumbo and all the Crawdaddy's I can eat! 🤣🤣🥳💜🦀🦞
Breaded Jumbo Shrimp........YUM!
😇 Beautiful Business 🌹
Super blessed job I'm amazed here 🇵🇭
Increible todo el proceso!
Saludos desde Chile, excelente video.
Damn after all that processing I've been surprised there's anything left of the shrimp.
They literally used every part of the shrimp in the video.
A testament to how little people comprehend the bounty of the seas…
They did a great job of editing out all of the the other marine life that gets caught in the nets. There's lots of it.
Impressive editing skills! 🎬🐟
They didn't show everything, but parts of the video do show snippets of the sorting process. They definitely don't show what's done with those sorted fish though.
You are so correct I promise they won't ever show where they make drags with unwanted bycatch.A trawl is an indiscriminate killing machine and some electronics will help them understand what they are catching but not to the degree of unnecessary slaughter.
And yet they flourish…
Generally they catch nothing so...
The chitin covering can be used as feed mix and ground it for fertiliizer
I love eating seafood, especially when it's fresh, thank you for this interesting video
Mantap sekali mas bro.. Saya sangat suka makanan laut.. Seafood. Good vidio...
Each one of those little things used to be a living conscious creature. Doesn't stop me from being hungry for it though.
Sou do Rio de janeiro Brasil , alta qualidade
I love shrimps as a kid i used to catch mi own in the river, lagoons, or ocean cooked the almost alive super fresh
In my life I've probably eaten a few thousand shrimp, but watching this makes you wonder... how many shrimp can there be!?
More than 🫵🏻 and all the predictors of the sea can eat, Mark.
2:46 wow, I just saw one of the shrimp that I sautéed in garlic butter a few weeks ago... 6:36 I just saw it again.
The ship is amazing does so much before unloaded
Shrimps are so good
*These videos are fascinating! The factory's enormous machines make the work so much easier, and it's amazing how they eliminate the need for people to toil so hard! 😍😍😍😍*
And people without jobs starve...
These videos are so interesting the factory has a big machine and they don’t need people to work so hard! 😍😍😍😍
working in a Can, in the middle of the sea, yeah rigth buddy, there's no hard work.
So that's how shrimp is caught and processed I got to say shrimp is one of my favorite seafoods to eat
This is not how your local seafood is caught.
wow
@@sassyarrow23 starve yourself then
@@sassyarrow23 go eat grass and save some for the cows
Did you know that shrimp are considered aquatic cockroaches?
disco bay,......thats in Greenland !!! I was married to a beautifull young Greenland woman....happy days those.
I love shrimp! But this felt a lot longer than 9 minutes 😅
Incredible footage, so much handling. Very puzzled by bagging then almost immediately UNbagging..?! What happens to the bycatch fish?
Great job! 👏 - Greetings from Philippines
I can't wait to go home, and eat a block of shrimp.
Why do I feel sad yet I consume them as I did tonight 😭
Excellent videos.

촬영을 참 잘 했다~ 새우 생산 과정이 정말 대단해 보이네요
정말 멋진 촬영이에요! 🎥🦐
Humans are truly horrifying predators. Love the cheerful music.
3:35 Are they literally...punching the scrimps down to fit every nook and cranny? 😅
I love shrimp it’s making me hungry
Nice video
Rip nutrition value Rip fresh food😂
Amazing job
Great 👍 video!
Very intresting
I prefer shelled raw shrimp. I see why the peeled & pre-cooked are tasteless. Too many freezing, thawing, re-freezing method.
It almost looks like a waste.
No mindless AI voice, for that, I thank you. ✊🏻✊🏻
Are they caught like that every day of the week and by how many different companies. A lot of Shrimp in the Oceans. What Ocean was that anyway?
You can't be better than Bubba and Forrest
Hasil laut yg sangat melimpah
Where abouts are the coconut shrimp caught? Are they located in an entirely different ocean or do the net them in a different way?
Those are caught closer to the coconut trees!
Lol, there actually is a coconut crab, they’re huge.
Those are generally found in more tropical regions.
That turtle release is pretty cool idea.
Enjoy shrimp now. With high tech fishing like this shrimp are history!
Thats not even a tiny fraction of world shrimp population, stop being an alarmist.
and what happens to the fish or other sea life that you catch ?
And they don’t answer the most important question….
Go to the garbage, where do you think they go? Take a bus to come back their house. 🤔🤔🤔😂😂😂🤦
Who cares
Well, on tuna fishing, everything that is not tuna is sell outside of the company and the money is distributed between the crew. Maybe its the same on here.
Thank God for the mute function
imagine if humans were harvested like this by another species lol
In a metaphysical way, we do it to ourselves. Why are these people taking so much? To fill shelves and make them look nice while ultimately going to waste.
So nice.
darkazurr They are.... ever hear of Abortion. And we don't eat babies...to Live. 😊 P.S. Lot's of shrimp in the ocean (and farm raised). We haven't even touched most of the ocean anyway. 😊
Lieutenant Dan! *Jumps into water and starts swimming to land*
He ain't got no legs?!
O poder do homem intelectual.
That’s a LOT of processing before it hits peoples mouths
It never ceases to amaze me how much effort and resources humans put in to get something for nothing ... at least until it runs out.
I wish something could come from nothing. We would have unlimited resources.
Dios mío que grande eres 🙏🏽
Thank you for your nice channel
Muy interesante 😊 pero me quedo con los camarones del mar a la olla

Alat yang canggih keren keren
I'm from Alaska and a couple of my uncles commercial fish for shrimp. But they do it sustainably as anybody have IFQs which is an Individual Fishing Quota and each boat is only allowed so many poundage.
That's good but I'm pretty sure the country that still catches and kills whales doesn't care about what an IFQ is.
! YUMMY! 🤤
They take a beating along the way!
Very interesting! By any chance, have you ever heard of Wondastatic Tech?
Really Likes👍👍👍👍
I can remember when I was a little boy bed mattress were stuffed with coconut
It always great when you go to Bubba Gumps Restaurants and ask where their shrimp are from and their reply... Indonesia- Farm-raised. I asked this on the strip in Ft. Lauderdale once and that was their reply. Here in Florida where we are literally surrounded by shrimp on both coasts. Sad... I never went to a Bubba gumps again.
Support local seafood! 🦐🌊
More consistency and quality assurance with farm raised. Cheaper too.
Nice processing
Interesting video

Need a narrator to explain the process be much cooler..
It is nice that we have advance technology although there is also always a cursed side of it. I really hope we are NOT over farming, this video is showing a massive harvest that is probably done EVERYDAY by many different ships... though I really hope not. I cannot help but wonder if this way of farming really sustainable for the long run? How long do human have until when there will be no more shrimps, fishes, or an foods left to eat in the future? Not only these animals have to deal with mass farming, their species have to survive all the toxic chemicals and plastics we human continuously dump into the ocean that causes the rise of acidity and carbon dioxide in the water, we also reduced their foods sources as we continuously destroying corals and living environment in every corner in the world. I can only hope all these are done in a very controlled manner that is respectful and grateful to mother nature; it is the only way we can survive to the end as a human species on earth.
No problem, you are probably to young to remember the movie solient green. As people died they were just processed into food for the living. This is coming,as the politicians get real food the rest will eat each other.
Farming? They are in the sea this is not farming??
There's alot of over fishing going on in all our oceans. Because of that, they also farm raise alot of those same animals otherwise they'd all be gone if all the world's seafood consumption was always wild caught
Been happening for decades. Pretty sure they know their limit to keep the food chain going at this point. Especially since they have invested millions is cultivating it. Probably would defeat their entire purpose if they caught everything to put them out of biz. lol
The Asians especially Japanese are the worst at the over fishing with little concern for sustainability
Wow video quá bận thật tuyệt vời quá bạn ơi
fascinating video!! But, why were the shrimps red fresh out of the sea?
Depleting the oceans one haul at a time
Feeding people one meal at a time. 😊
Trillions of shrimp bro calm down
Just give me melted butter
Shrimps are abundance. The key is to develop the market demands, and keep the money flow for the industry. Texas gulf now has "Tiger Prawns", an invasive species that are much bigger in size. However, these tigers self have high economic values, they are sold for $24 per pound and a 3-prawn tempura appetizer in a Japanese restaurant can cost $16.
gospodarka rabunkowa . . .
Kereeeeeeeeennnnn
Just freeze them whole sell like that, less processing involved and tastier.
*Unless it's been released or dismantled, Australia seized the world's largest factory fishing vessel. This massive ship, nicknamed the MV Plunder by a judge, could significantly impact seafood reproduction due to its immense size and capacity. I'm from America*
Look at china the worst and america has hundreds of boats too we all are all to blame but all comes down to money for government's only rich people get to eat the good stuff so blame the rich for wanting to be greedy also
So if you suddenly became "rich" Spike, would you give all the money away so you wouldn't be one of those "rich people?" @@joannedonaldson5818
The shrimp probably enjoy the journey ;)
If you are processed that way you will enjoy that journey
