  • If I could go back in time and review one moment in my life, I would go back to when I was 9 years old with my mom and dad and brothers in our den gathered around our tv watching this game. I can still remember the shear emotion of my family after Charles' dunk. The hugs, the tears, the elation. Forever stamped in my memory.

  • I watched I can't believe it's been 40 years. I followed Louisville from the start of the season. All the way to that final floor and watched the tournament and that final shot

  • The late William Packer yelled, "They won it...on the dunk!" The late Lorenzo Charles made it with two seconds to spare to win their second national title, beating Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler & Houston Cougars 54-52.

    • Uhm...the call by the CBS crew is what immortalized this moment. I think even you know that.
