BMX DREAM BIKE BUILD

2023 ж. 15 Шіл.

Introducing my new personal BMX bike.. a Colony BMX Sweet Tooth frame with a lot of Profile Racing and Odyssey BMX parts. Almost identical to my previous bike build with lots of titanium but a few subtle changes. I am very happy with the result. Built in a skatepark workshop & inspired by Gee Milner videos. Big thank you to Halux Visions for helping me with the camera work on this.
Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see a video bike check about this build.

  • I love how it immediately from gently pressing on the spindle with his hand to beating it with a hammer😅 haha. Great build and amazing looking bike. Enjoy the thing!

  • Am I the only one who winced when he went clockwise to tighten his stem rather than diagonal to diagonal? lol

    @danellis3376@danellis33768 ай бұрын
    • Only when putting the bolts back in without applying pressure. After that it went diagonally 😉

    @rafaelprado9503@rafaelprado95039 ай бұрын
    • WD40 is not a lubricant tho! It evaporates very quickly and makes the grips stick. It can be harmful for the rubber but I change out my grips every 6 months anyway

  • 19:39 Why do people like their seats pointed up? Looks uncomfortable. It's almost as if kids do it because they see other kids do it, but nobody knows why they're doing it.

    @patcoston@patcoston9 ай бұрын
    • Good question! My seat/seatpost is one piece so I cant adjust it even if I would want to. You don't really sit on your seat with BMX, for me it's mainly there to help with certain tricks and bike stability. During tricks your bike is rarely level making it more comfortable to have your seat at a slight angle.

    • I’m guessing you don’t ride BMX?

      @stuartgibson@stuartgibson8 ай бұрын
    • @@stuartgibson your guessing that from a criticism that you've butchered a build together, a crank should never have to be hammered in like that if the parts where worth their value. I don't have to ride BMX or any bikes for that matter (although I do) to understand the fundamentals on putting any bike together. It's just shoddy work, and if that was my bike you where building I'd be telling you where to go 👍🏼
