  • Marko is blessed with one of the most beautiful voice in the world. I can't find any other singer with a more unique voice.

    • There are Eddie Vedder, Mikael Åkerfeldt(while sings clean-tone) and Dave Gahan. But among them Marko is so underrated. He deserves lot but ironically known less.

    • @@onuralpakar1484 opeth are my favorite band. I listen to them since I was a little boy... Times fly... But yet, I love the akerfeldt voice but the Marko one's is more unique for my humble opinion. I suggest you also to listen katatonia if you like opeth.

    • @@2BAvalon thx 4 advice but I am not huge fan of Opeth. Only like few acoustic-clean songs like Windowpane. About uniqueness i agree with you. Marko's expressions are so full of emotion, so light and lyrical. Also i feel the similar intense emotion richness in Eddie's voice but he sounds darker and more dramatical than Marko.

    • Are we though? There's already an unplugged version of ToT on the ToT deluxe album. We don't need to hear the acoustic version of the same song more than once. We need unplugged version of songs that don't already have unplugged versions like Choice Millionaire, Revolution Roulette and the like; songs that will be unconventional as unplugged. Half the ATS catalog was a let down for me personally. Songs like King of Fools, Fragile, Rebirth and CoR really didn't need to be unplugged. Too bad ATS was a one year project and this song will be the last addition to this project/album.

Captain did a great job on the piano on that one. Apart from Lift - Dreaming Wide Awake, Jealous Gods and War were my favorites from this project. The additional guitar solo on False Kings was pretty good too. I still can't get over how good Jealous Gods sounds unplugged.

    • @@mrsimpleslowmo it's undoubtedly their most well-known song... I'm certain that many people who have never ever heard of Poets as a band know this song... A lot would of course depend on your exposure to different genres and personal choice in music. It's fine if this is the only one of their songs that you know but that by no means makes them a one-hit wonder as they have a successful musical career and that is perhaps why the others here would take offense to your comment. Unless this is your way of illiciting a response to your comments, I'd probably advise you to phrase your comments in a more appealing manner. Of course, this is an open platform and everyone is free to express themselves as long as KZhead approves 🤭.

My introduction to Poets Of The Fall was in the video game "Control", and now I find myself listening to your music almost daily -- even singing along with it. Carnival of Rust, Illusion & Dream, Crystalline, Stay Forever, The Sweet Escape, Weaver of Dreams, The Poet and the Muse, Balance Slays the Demon... So much to love. You guys are awesome! I only wish I had learned of you sooner and had the chance to see you perform live!

  • The violins before 'Don't Walk Away' was just so beautiful that it literally touched my soul and made my eyes moist. The way this song was sung also made me feel shivers all through my body. This was a real experience. I love this version of this song and I need more songs in this series. This was beautiful. Thank you!!!

  • The United States certainly needs to have a concert series with Poets of the Fall! I don’t think my wife would be willing to move to Finland!

  • I love this song more than I can explain. So I had great expectations when I heard there's going to be an Alexander Theatre edition. But sadly, this sounds kinda festive. That sorrow in his voice gone.

  • Carnival of Rust, much like other POTF fans, was the song that introduce me to the band. For years, it was the only song I knew from them, but this song held so much importance to me when I was younger. Then this past year, I finally decided to listen to more of their music, and actively following them. I was SWARMED with new favorite songs and I’ve been talking to my friends about them NON-STOP. So of course I’ve been keeping up with this series. The fact it ended with where it all began for me is really amazing and this version is STUNNINGLY beautiful and still holds the same intensity the original song had. Thank you POTF for making this year more bearable for us all, old and new fans alike. 💕🍁🍭

  • The violins at the end are the best part... It's one thing to write a timeless masterpiece, but to rewrite it and make another masterpiece out of it... 🤩 your songwriting abilities astonish me every time. Thank you for bringing light to these dark times ❤️ the whole series made 2020 a lot better for me :)

  • 👏Doesn't it feel like we attended a POTF concert through the year with Carnival of Rust as the Grande Finale... I've been waiting for this song since they began with the ATS...it's so dauntingly beautiful and I'm exhilarated 🙃...loved the drama by the string quartet 🤩they complemented the piece wonderfully. Also, I've heard this song a million times but today that last line really struck a chord(when the world is burning... Don't walk away)because I feel so many are giving up and not realising how that affects those around them. Thank you for the beautiful music you bring us not just in this very disturbing time but always. Keep making the world beautiful in your own way... Hope to see you in person ✌💞
