NGO HSI helped dogs from meat farm!! Did they feel comfort for their first time?
“Some of the dogs were desperately jumping for me to notice them and offer some affection, while others hid at the back of their cages in fear”
Nara Kim, HSI’s consultant in South Korea, shared in the press conference story of dogs farm had over of 70 dogs
HSI founded dogs from different breeds such as huskies, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and many more
The cages hadn’t any of live terms that makes dogs’ life hilarious
N-K, who is the owner of the said farm, said that he had been running this business for over 40 years but was concerned over the fact that the business itself had no future going forward
N-K allowed HSI to take dogs to a safe place and he decided to work as farmer
N-K told HSI staff “It hasn’t really worked out that way. I earn nothing from this dog farm, and pressure from the government is increasing so it’s not a good business at all”
Because of government laws and south Koreans have started viewing dogs as companions the dog’s meat trade decreased
The initial plan was to move dogs to the US and Canada
The dogs that was in farms they could get proper rehabilitation and get a second chance at finding their forever homes to in Canada and USA
The dogs are regularly receiving full veterinary check-ups to make sure they do not face another day of suffering, they are loved and cared for for the first time in their lives
Now the dogs are happy and safe in their forever homes
