  • I really like the different cultural diversity’s of characters that MSA has for these main character girls. And once again the story is relatable because I also have a troubled sibling that my parents tried to help, despite them not wanting to help themselves, until consequences came their way that is. And best of all the parents do learn from their mistakes and be involved with their grandchild, but where is the father in all of this?

  • This reminds me of the story when Kate’s parents took lola in with them to think she wasn’t be loved and was being used for granted. It was disappointing to know that after Valerie’s parents never told her truth about rayna in general, Valerie now understand to why her parents kept her in secret as a reason why rayna didn’t want nothing to do with them.
