Tulsa, Oklahoma is no stranger to Cash Days events..but this one is a little out of the ordinary. The cars aren't regular cars, nor is the track. Everything is 1/10 scale..besides the drivers. If you haven't figured it out yet..this is an RC Car Cash Days. Yup, thats right - RC Car Drag Racing. You'd think it's just a hobby..but these guys are competing for $25,000! The second annual Super Chip RC Drag Race attracts the some of the heaviest hitters from all forms of RC racing, and some of the coolest cars in RC drag racing!

That was dope. I rarely watch the entire video when they cover regular drag racing, i skip around watch who i care about and finish the video in 10-15 minutes. I watched this one all they way through. Entertaining watching rc drags running so close you cant tell who won.
I didn't think I would, but I watched the whole thing and enjoyed every second of it.
I didn't realise how entertaining this is till I watched the whole thing without skipping once, the cars look realistic aswell as pretty fun to race and they have a good point most cars winning 25k on the quarter are worth 100k easy where the Rc's are worth there money and they seem to be a pretty chill group of people

RC is awesome, the community is very nice and a much more affordable and easy to access/use hobby. Smaller scale means smaller tracks etc.

I'm not a drag RC guy but I appreciate you guys bringing a MASSIVE audience to the hobby.
So this is called "scale" racing. Generally 1/10th scale (hence the 132' race). It's REAL racing, just in 1/10th scale. These aren't toys. They're scale race cars. Serious machines with serious racers, and serious pay outs. Given enough room they can top 100 mph, and do some major damage.

he said there's 250 people so it was probably 100$ entry and 80% goes to the winner which means they rented the lot and organized everything for 5k? that's pretty sick if you ask me.

Basically what I was thinking. The ONLY good thing imo that can come from the change to electric/hybrid cash days would be the mad scientists that figure out how to make those things faster. That'd at least be interesting.

I might have to be all in with this sport. This looks like a great way to spend time with niece and nephew before they learn how to drive and we can build the real thing. Do more of these pleasse!
It is a great way of spending time with family. My son and I rc race off-road in Canada and it only costs a few hundred dollars and there are tracks everywhere. Just look for your local rc club and sign up. It appealed to him because he is really good with a controller from his Xbox so rc racing came naturally to him.
All my kids and now grandkids are doing RC. Great time when we gather.

Growing up my friends dad got us into rc racing. I learned everything from it, then as I got older working on cars then semi's I kinda looked back. I realized I had to give that guy a phone call and a big thank you, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be where I'm at today.
Hobby Rc is a great way to bond with family. I’ve been in the hobby 17 years now all because my uncle gave me my first hobby grade car. All 17 years later and I still have it in working condition

If you think the drag cars are cool, Check out the speed runners. They’re going crazy fast. Raz Shiffran has multiple cars going 160mph + and Earl (can’t remember his last name) has just set a PB of 182 mph. These aren’t scaled down mph…. They’re actually going 180.

Drag racing hasn't been big until this year really as the big manufacturers made their own ready to run kits
The sport just really picked up in the last couple of years, but its the newest and most popular rc racing at the moment. Its so much fun
Me and my dad been to a few electric/Gas powered rc drag/drift races throughout the years he was big into building nitro cars and turbine powered jets
Oh it goes down here in the 208! No prep cash days here are sick!! Not 500 cars but we had 22 the last Saturday. We still use flashlight cause the tree not in yet. But man are we ready

Its definitely not new rc drag racing has been around for a long time..The rcdrl is huge
@@1e11evnmoto is definitely very new. Drag racing for huge in the 50s and 60s. This is basically unheard of for most people and has been around for 10 or so years.

I’ve been into rc stuff for years but since they started selling ready to run drag cars I got a couple. They are soo much fun. The new Losi drag car is great out of the box. My dad is into 1/4 scale cars and he’s had a couple 1/4 scale funny cars that rip with ported built motors.
I run the team associated dr10 my first drag car. I started out running a team associated sc10 and a losi xxx sct both short course trucks years ago. Unfortunately its not that popular in my area so I have no one to race with right now. Looks like I'll be sticking with sct for now. I'd love to see a funny car run

The feeling of when some thing you understand has a “NEW” feeling .
There’s a top fuel version of those RC cars called rails they go about 110 Mph and do 132ft in about one point something seconds.
Thank you for covering this event! Im a hardcore RC guy. My top speed is 94mph, quarter mile. 6s battery. I always confused by you guys being at so many full size races, when there are so many rc communitys taking racing to a whole new lvl. over the last decade, rc racing has been a dying sport, i hope this brings more racers to the upcoming races, Thanks again guys!

There was drama, excitement and genuinely good races. The fact actual full size drag racers were there made this video all the more cooler. Well done 1320 video.

I remember the 4x4 off road nitro rc car I bought a few year's back. Couldn't even control the darn thing is was so fast so I crashed it every time out. Spent more time fixing what I broke from crashing than anything. But man it was cool!

haha ... yes less than real car but not MUCH better on bank account some of these are over 900$ just out the box, not including upgrades and customizations
lol, this will brake your bank. expect to pay 1,000s of dollars a year on tires, repairs, for one rc car. and if your just starting the hobby, lots of rebuilds from bad hits.
