And anyways, NaVi became the most dominant team for many months with this roster so obviously he pushes others towards bettering themselves and it has some positive benefit in the end.

The culture is definitely different from what you'd expect in a western team. I don't really like Blade not contributing to the conversation at all. S1mple might not be as effective as he thinks he is communicating with this attitude, but he's exposed to the same kind of stress and frustration and that shit will flow out eventually, but it's literally Blade's job to keep their mental game on point and reset things when the emotions get too high and he's just standing there and chilling.

    • I think a lot of people don’t understand how high standard some professional athletes are. Some of the greatest athletes that have been icons in their sport and loved by millions were hated by their teammates. They literally just couldn’t understand why people didn’t just do things how they would have done it. Or if they do then they have contempt that they can’t do it so clearly they haven’t worked hard enough or aren’t skilled enough. It is the attitude that has driven him to be the best, but I’m sure it’s also why he has had difficulties with so many teammates. But notice how he and electronic almost never have to argue because electronic is so damn good he was almost always making the perfect play. If S1mple doesnt have a fault with what you’re doing in the game he will never be toxic. He only does it when he thinks you’re doing something wrong. There were some moments in here that were probably a bit too much, this is a professional setting with a code of conduct which will include clauses about bullying and it doesn’t take much for HR to call harsh criticism bullying these days. But some of it was genuine frustration with your fellow professionals misplaying a situation causing you to lose, and expressing your frustration’s then and there is actually the most healthy way to address it and then move on. He just needs like a coaching course to learn how to constructively build people up or something lol

I do not think Sasha is meaning to be toxic or personal against some players, It just means alot for him, and when he sees they lose important and stupid rounds, on greedy and stupid plays, It hurts him. You have to confront some1 when you think they are playing wrong, but at the same time sure he can say it in another way, and not be toxic., but again, they just lost and for him it is personal to lose because his identity is in the game and he takes it personal, so when he is trying to communicate to them what they are doing wrong and playing to defensive and scared, he says it in a way that is toxic because he is angry or hurting if you like.. Do not make it right but it is more normal than you think, do not make it right. but i genuinly do not think he is being mean for the sake of being it. the game just means alot to him and he wants to win.

If you're better, and you know you can do better, then you explain how it's done, if theres no improvement over the months then of course it's going to get frustrating, and you'll stop using nice words which don't seem to work anymore. What s1mple said about them, even if it's harsh, it's the truth. But of course, they're not s1mple, so he's expecting them to play and think like he does, which is wrong, every player is unique. Having a team is about forming a bond and creating consistency, not to make others play like you do, like pawns. Astralis era is the perfect example of how a team should be. S1mple has a pretty strong attitude as well, but that's something which can be fixed if he desires, not everyone likes their best player to be a ' dick ' because someone made a mistake.

  • Translation can make it much harsher than what it seems, and obviously people haven't worked in a competitive team setting to really understand that this isn't toxicity, even though it may seem that way, it's a stern talk that points out what they did wrong (in the beginning). S1mple is so passionate about the game that he CAN be toxic bc he may understand certain things or expect certain things from his team that they may not know or simply do yet. Honestly, these teamspeaks could be a LOT worse for me to really be worried if hes actually just a dick for shits and giggles but at almost every pro scene in sports and esports this happens on a regular basis.

    • Jesus christ. This IS toxicity at its core. Just because he isnt outright throwing slurs and making threats doesnt mean it isnt toxicity. There's zero reason to talk to your teammembers like this ESPECIALLY in a professional setting. I'll bet s1mple wasnt talking shit like this when Zeus was plaing in Navi or I imagine he would've been bended over.
