İbrahim Pashas joy for the feast mires down with an assassination attempt to him. They get over the effect of that easyly but İbrahim gets sick in bed all of a sudden while everyone thinks that everything will be all right. Sultan Suleiman gives a harsh response to the attack for his vizier. He gives an order to Bali Bey. The person has done that will be found immediately no matter who that is.

At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

The only one who smiled back at Hürrem after Süleyman announced their solemnize, was Nigar.
I remember when she was the one who gave Hurrem a goal in her first day at the Harem, Nigar grabbed her aside and told her that she can be a Sultana, Hurrem had a reason to stay and fight at the Harem since that moment.
@@user-mm8ei9nx4o Nigar is neutral, she is kind hearted person that full fill her duty in harrem
Even Daye hatun was happy but didn't express bcoz she knows Valide Sultan did not like it.

I am so glad they took Zumbul-Aga to represent Hürrem. Not just because he was the main for the harrem, but also because they were great friends.
I loved that too
He was her greatest friend after Suleiman himself. You can see the depth of that friendship in the last episodes, so touching.
He was loyal and great friend too her and into Hürrum Sultan death
He is a terrific actor!!!!❤❤❤❤
Sümbul agha
"I wish I died and didn't see today" How ironic is that line lol since historically they married AFTER Valide died
I always find it funny, the scene when Hurrem asks Mahi if she will congratulate their marriage. Suleiman's face is like "🙄You don't really have to rub it in her face... ", but he's also not saying anything, just letting his new wife gloat lol...
no, he was just giggling to himself. He obviously loved the fact that Hurrem was fiery. :)))
He didn't roll his eyes.....it was more a look up with a half grin as if to say "hmmm let's see how you respond to that". He was quietly approving what was asked.
He was well please with hurrem for that question ... as a punishment for mahi past behavior of poisoning of their food.
I LOVE him grinning behind her at her uncontrollable giggles of excitement during the ceremony 🥰❤️
Yes, that was cute.
Yes, there's no laugh or giggle like a Hurrem giggle and laugh

I wish the writers made Hafsa like she really was. A loving kind lady who cared only for her son's happiness and she treated Hürrem and Mahidevran the same. Hürrem and Hafsa had a cordial relationship
He also didn't marry Hurrem until after she died. No one could outrank the sultans mother. Hurrem also didn't have to bow to his sisters. When hafsa was dead and they were married she outranked everyone.
Well, if they did if wouldn't attract so many viewers. But they really went overboard. At least they could follow the real historic timeline as they married after Hafsa's passing.
They do show it in the play later on
Well, they also made Hürrem evil, while there are no evidences that she was ever included in any killing, especially in Mustapfa's one.
Nobody knows if Hafsa was nice or a witch. Nobody knows if Hürrem was nice or a witch. We only know 5 sentences in letters and nobody knows if they were written with a political motive. Y’all act like Hafsa is your neighbor… The woman died 400 + years ago and besides her being Selim’s concubine and Suleyman’s mother we know exactly zero things about her.
The shock on Ibrahim's face when he learns that Suleiman is going to marry Hurrem 😈 Valide should have listened to Hurrem in the beginning when she begged her to release her
I love this episode. Hurrem withdrew her plan to have Ibrahim killed after seeing how sad and worried Hatice was, chose to be quiet while Mahidevran was teasing her, did not do anything even after learning that a concubine was sent to Suleiman's chamber. In the end, it was an unexpected victory for her! She remained respectful and sincere. And I liked how she delivered her lines to Mahidevran. Soft but piercing.
Thats great revenge ever for mahidevran...😂
Whats there to like about Hurrem hurting and teasing Mahidevran? Hurrem has no INNER beauty. Ppl who have no class hurt others.🙄
Nothing was soft. Yes, she was smiling, but triumphant at the same time. And her expectation of congratulations from Mahidevran is completely mocking her to the end ... it is clear that her opponent is crushed, she is in a swoon. Hurrem would be silent, at least at first, but no, he also adds nervousness with his behavior.

I don't think gloating is a classy move. I dont like this about Hurrem. Asking Mahi to congratulate them was unnecessary.
I love how Suleiman's smile slowly disappears when valide isn't showing happiness for them
Gulfem lost her child with Suleiman and she was put aside. Mahidevran expected sympathy from her? It would be the same as Hurrem asking for Mahidevran's sympathy when Firuze appeared in Suleiman's life... Or even worse because Gulfem wasn't even lucky enough to have her child alive at that time.
Yes and we never saw Gulfem whine and complain a wery classy women

What gets me is that Hurrem just wanted Valide to be fair, yet her and Mahi created the threat they were so afraid of. If they just left her alone I doubt the marriage would have even happened.
They had to portray the marriage in the series because historically it happened. But they married after Valide Hafsa Sultan passed away and Mahidevran had been in Manisa for about two years with Mustafa. Of course, for drama and money sake they butchered real and great historical characters.
I know it’s not historically accurate, but I still love this show.

She is sooo beautiful among the women there. If I were the sultan, I would also fall in love with her beauty.
Hurrem sultan wins!!!! That's her third biggest victory in series, looking forward for episode 63 and the ultimate victory in 123!!
I'm so glad that Sumbul Agha was at the wedding!
12:05 and 8:31 The only two moments that are more joyful than the wedding. Mahidevran drowning in her tears and Valide losing her mind. The two witches rotting in their misery 😂😂😂
IN MY VIEW The casting could not have been more perfect! I have always loved Suleiman and Hurrem together.❤
It’s ironic to me when mahidevran is sobbing in front of gulfem and saying ‘as usual you don’t care about my pain’ meanwhile mahidevran took suleiman from Gulfem 🤣🤦🏻♀️
In all honesty, she did the exact same thing to Gulfem and gloated about it for years. She made sure that Gulfem never got a chance to have another child. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't kill Gulfem's son. Only the could Mustafa be safe and become the Sultan. No one ever found it strange with the dozens of women he had around, and with her having the most furtile night, why didn't he have more children than just with her and Hurrem? That would definitely be odd. Hurrem became a brilliant strategist. If they had treated civilly, they may have lived longer. And Gulfem isn't as innocent as she appears. All the time, she had no child yet stayed in the higher ranks by looking pitiful and attaching herself to those she felt had power. She was in the middle of it all and against Hurrem until she almost died. I do believe she did love his other kids, though. At least Mustafa and Mehmed anyway. She bidded her time until she could try her revenge against Sulemon. She did more manipulation behind the scenes I bet.
I love when Valide faints It's her signature move lol
😂😂😂
But she's the only one who ever faints and isn't pregnant
True love.. nobody can be like you my haseki hurrem sultana..
Maturity is when you realise Sultan Suleiman was the main culprit
LooL.. Killed me😂😂

10/10 acting this series eclipses the acting of any mainstream movie or show I have seen. Even just a simple conversation can convey such powerful emotions it's hard to remember that it's a show and not reality!
So… Cihangir is the only child who was born in wedding bond ?
Rivalry in the harem is brutal on everyone.

I felt so happy fof her in this episode! She triumphed over those that tried to keep her down.
fantastic actors. i watch this over and over!
He only married Hürrem after his mother's death. He adored his mother and he owed her a lot. Given his character, it would not have been possible for him to do that to his mother.
Hafsa and hurrem had a great relationship
In history Valide Sultan loved and supported Hurrem
@@gunescelik4207 I have never read that from any historian. Shortly before Valide's death, they were probably more of a community of convenience to protect the empire and the Sultan himself from the power-drunk Ibrahim.
@@siggisn7885absolutely agree. We can only speculate what the relationship between Hurrem and Valide Sultan was. No one was ever allowed in the Harem and most of what we know is from thirdy party sources, mostly ambassadors and foreigners, who again relied on other sources. Valide Hafsa is said to have been a very loving mother and her only concern was the well being of his son. Even if she didn't agree with Hurrem having multiple children or Suleyman supposed faithfulness, she would never ever try to kill her. And yes, the power drunk Ibrahim was a much bigger concern around that time. But Suleyman, the real one, handled it very well. Ibrahim stepped over the line and burned to the ground.
When living in a state where the winters are really cold, I would leave the water running in small stream. The pipes never froze up. It doesn't matter if it is cold water.

Congratulations to the newlyweds 🎉🎉
They are unhappy but they made her she was never protected so she learnt that more power will protect her. They made her and they have to live with what they made.

The queen mother was already dead in real life when they got married.
Fact is, Sultan didn't marry Hurrem when his mother was alive or when Mahidevran was in Topkapi.
Wasn't the harem in a different location in this time period? I thought a later sultan(probably Murad III) brought the harem to Topkapi.
@@rsync9490 it was early on during Suleyman's reign but read it got shifted later. Maybe u r correct that it went their during time of Murad 3. But what I was trying to say was until Mustafa went to Sanjak with Mahidevran
@@muhammadtaimur1498 You are right about the marriage thing. In 1534 when Topkapi Harem was ready, Hürrem and the kids moved from Eski Saray. She wasn't strong at all. All her ways of fighting are scandals, tantrums and assassination attempts. Strong women in such situations leave, do not try to return the man. There, Nigar-kalf has a stronger character.Hurrem was strong when she was ready to drink poison or run away from the palace, having learned about new slaves. A man who goes to the end, no matter what it threatens him with.
That's the biggest weakness. Poor joy he got caught in the crossfire. And was suspected by his own father!

Hurrem is smart because in Islam a couple cannot commit adultery and must marry, making Suleyman change his own rules. She deserves it.
a lawful slave to his master. at that time Hurrem was free, because Sulaiman had freed her from her slave status. therefore Sulayman marries Hurrem in order to be together again.
Suleiman & Hurrem such a wonderful pair...they didn't act but lived
Amazing, look everyone how mahidevil ran to hafsa again to help her against hurrem sultan, look.
The thumbnail is perfection: just as these women deserve to be. Mahidevran drowning in her tears and Hurrem glowing with joy.
The saddest part is Mustafa's little face falling. He loves his siblings because they told him the last time his mom was pregnant that the baby boy knew he didnt want a brother, so he decided not to come, His mom was always lying and sobbing and he had to bear the blunt of it. Hurrem hated that look on his face, too. If they had executed her when she beat Hurrem or when she posioned her, Hurrem would have raised Mustafa as her own, and then maybe they would have had long lives together and peace. Hurrem never allowed her kids to disrespect her even if she tried to get Mustafa to get rid of Hurrem over and over. It would have been likely that Selim would have been the only dead sibling.
No doubt... She deserves this..!!! 👑👑👰👰👑👑

This not how Muslims Marry they didn't even ask the bride or groom instead they asked the witness like where it happened or how is this a nikah.
It's falsely based on culture not Islam
Even it's Haram for men to have concubines in Islam. Yet in this shows they still show something like this
@@R.S.G615 its ok if they are not muslim
@@R.S.G615 LOL, in Islam jariyahs are allowed.
@@R.S.G615 not really, it's allowed to get married this way in islam tho. So 2 people represent the bride and the groom for nikah. That's fine. And for the case they didnt ask hurrem or suleyman abt the nikah was bcs they definitely wanted to marry each other. And the concubine thing is also allowed in islam. Concubine = slave. Interesting how the marriage ceremony is done behind gated windows. Also kinda sad for Mahidevran because she never became his legal wife. Id probably grieve just like her if my true love married someone else
Suleiman wasn't Mahidevran's true love. As a member of Prince Suleiman's harem, then later, Sultan Suleiman's harem, she knew that she wasn't the only woman he slept with or had children with. In the show, we learn he had at least one child with Gulfem that died, and in real life, he had three children before he had Mustafa with Mahidevran, all of whom died young. Obviously, the drama between her, Hurrem, and Suleiman is heightened for TV, but it probably was nowhere near that in reality. I don't doubt it was uncomfortable for women in the harem to have to share him with others, particularly if they developed feelings for him, but they also understood that their time with him was finite. The rule was, "One mother, one son" meaning, once you had a male child, the sultan didn't bring you to his chambers anymore. Hurrem obviously blew that out of the water because she had six children with him; in the show, we don't see Abdullah, but he died very young. She was obviously very, very different from other women in Ottoman history.
@@feverspell That is very interesting. Thank you for an explanation. I was wondering about one thing: when Hurrem was rejected to do Charity for sacred places Mecca and Medina because she was a slave (concubine), how did Mahidevran manage to do charity? Makhidevran doing charity basically triggered Hurrem to do the same, but I don't understand why it was allowed for Mahidevran but not for Hurrem even though both of them were considered slaves?
@@molinodeviento8598 Mahidevran's charity wasn't placet at Mecca or Medina, so its still allowed
@@feverspell based on historical record, during his tenure as Saruhan Governor, Süleyman had 17 concubines and Mahidevran wasn't his highest consort that time. Mahidevran became Süleyman's highest rank consort in 1521 (Suleyman's early reign as sultan) when Süleyman's other sons died. But that year also when Mehmed was born, made Hürrem as Süleyman's senior concubine and her rank only below to Mahidevran.

It's so wrong. Nikah is not done through representation or witness. Man and women both have to personally accept each other in front of witnesses.
I'm s😮o afraid that if this is a dream and we'll wake up ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I feel the representation of them being jealous and so emotional isn’t accurate. According to our modern understanding having a partner cheat on us under the roof is very painful. Although for them polygamy was normal. Having lived in west Africa where in many areas polygamy is common practice today, most wive’s concern is not the husband’s delicate affection but rather resources and power. Most women in this situation care mostly about 2 things: 1-will my husband provide for me and my offspring within the scarcity economy? 2- will my rival’s offspring outlive mine? The irony is the harem reflects toxicity of Empires in general: If you don’t compete you will be replaced.
I agree 100%.... I couldn't live in those times and survive. I wouldn't act like Mahidevran nor Hurrem, so I would probably be crushed by the game.
