I tried expressing my worry but this did not change anything. I could not handle the anxiety and the worry. So, I started doing as he, going, not saying, coming late, not calling. It was only then he understood my worry and anxiety...when he felt it himself. So, he started letting me know where he was, a contact, and call if he was running late. I also. It was not about control but mutual respect, care and love, especially in a place where crime is a reality. Our children have also learned to do same and respect why this should be so.
