Remember it like yesterday. Santi Cazola: what a player!
After going 2 down he controlled the midfield and drove arsenal forward ,
Was sat behind the free kick…started to celebrate as soon as it left his foot….what a hit…
same bro
I know he was only with us for a short period but I would love to see a Santi Cazorla tribute of some variety at the Emirates
@@DelusionalNYC His injury got infected and took him out for 2/3 seasons. So sad
Remembered watching this match time went so fast. Can't believe it's been nearly 10 years
Same here
One od my favourite childhood matches i watched when i was a kid
Same 😂
Yep!
10 years?,?😢😢😢 WOW! feels like 5 years
Seeing Arteta as an Arsenal player in 2014, who would have thought he would already be Arsenal's manager in 2023.
Haha lol funny huh 😊
And win that same trophy his first year as manager.
Aaron ramsey is an absolute legend of fa cup and wembley
Yep. He has won us TWO FA Cups!
Look at Santi face when he’s taking the free kick. he knows that if he scores, arsenal are back in the game with 70-75 minutes to play, and the final is back in their hands. You can tell he knows how crucial that moment is. And he picks out the absolute top bin
What a player, sensed that this moment could define the cup final and he took it upon himself to deliver.
No hesitation as compared to podolski
Such a likeable group of Arsenal players this was. Cazorla, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, Giroud, Per, etc. One of my favorite eras for the team.
Koscielny, Sagna
Arteta, Ozil
Poldoski
Giroud was never likeable
Strong team going two nil down to Hull in the F.A. Cup. Man, what a comeback.
Girouds hold up play and layoff passes changed the game. Such an underrated passer in tight spaces. Especially in his Gunner days.
He's still doing realy well in seria a amazing guy.
Jim Beglin, hatin' on the Arsenal for over a decade. That's dedication...
I noticed that.
It's deep really
@@iwuaforharold3675 he's got nothing on Richard Keys
I am 21 yrs now, if I tell some people that I watch this match as a 11 yrs boy, we sign ozil that year and lifted our first ever trophy in 9 years 😃❤️ OZIL effect One of my best time as an arsenal fan and sitting beside my Father to witness this, my father is late now, I always remember my father when I see this match💔 North London FOREVER 🇳🇬❤️
Same here, i remember by mother, she's late too 😢
Dad will always be by your side, wherever he is ❤
@@TermsDecodedmum's never gone away, will always look upon n protect you . ❤
I also watched dis at a young age with my dad ,my love for d club is still here Ur dad will always be with u ❤️
@@ichiejasmine9688 thanks ❤️💞
Spurs fan, but was always impressed with the 7-5 win against Championship Reading after going into the break 4-1 down. That was a comeback!
Absolute mad game
Come on over to the red side you'll be made most welcome to the Arsenal Family.😊
Even before half time they were 4-0 down.
was there - freezing cold night - chamakh played in that game!!
Kings of FA Cup
Santi Cazola is an underrated worldclass player
We were very lucky not to be 3-0 down. Kieran Gibbs with a headed clearance off the line. 😳
& the Kieran miss at the other end if front of goal :(
Somehow I feel we still would have won .
@@thebops4180 I cannot comprehend how he missed that.
I remember this game, it was amazing. Thank you Arsène, you were MAGNIFICENT. ♥
What can I say? This is Arsenal, one of the most beautiful team in football history.
One of my best memories watching Arsenal as a kid
In Calgary Alberta. Watched it at a bar with many gooners. 2:0 i broke down, depressed and in tears with the Birmingham final still in the memory, haven’t won a cup/title in years. I was down on my lowest but life comes at you fast and it did that day. By the end it took me 2 weeks to get my voice back! Happy memories COYG!
As a Hull fan this was painful. A club that has won no trophy in its history and we were so close to our first ever! Arsenal did great to come back though.
We all have those moments in finals mate. We had ours in 2006 against Barcelona, still haven’t won a Champion’s League since 😢
Its fine bro. As the comment above me says we all have those moments. I hope you lot find success and get promoted one day
@@thequestion3953we haven’t been in a final since 😢
@@thequestion3953I think there’s levels tbf mate. I wouldn’t really compare hull losing this to arsenal not winning a champions league. It’s a bit like complaining your jacuzzi broke to a homeless person without a shower
@@obinnamadichie ??? We've been in five cup finals since and won three.
I cried at the end of the match, I was at the peak of being depressed when Hull scored twice but i still kept on watching. One of the best Finals to be ever played in world football nevermind in England
Giroud's backheel assist 🏆
Giroud always loved a little flick pass 🤣
He also did it with Wilshire’s goal
It's insane that this was nearly 10 years ago. Feels like I was there yesterday. One of the greates games i've watched live. The insane feelings after being 0-2 down to winning 3-2 was pure magic
Who loved this FA cup like me...... Santi cazola 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Ramsey was on fire that season
How brilliant is it to see our current manager playing in that FA CUP final
FACT: Arsenal are the most successful club in FA Cup history. The Gunners have lifted the trophy 14 times, making 21 final appearances
As usual, Giroud with another brilliant pass. A 10 in a body of a 9.
Giroud was underrated/ still one of the best finishers in Europe despite his older yrs an current stand alone stats in European Comps' ( an Prem). The guy's class through and through
will never forget being in that stadium as a 9 year old boy, looking around and seeing the hopelessness from all us Arsenal fans, and seeing the absolute scenes when Arron got that final goal. What a day!
i was 10 years old the last time we won any major silverware prior to 2014. watching this final, in the tv room of my uni accommodation, with all my non AFC fan friends was one of the most stressful and absolutley euphoric moments i have ever experienced as a football fan.
Now you are 28 time flies my gee
@@Sipho_Thenjwayo what major trophy did we win before 2014?
@@lordnignog1688 Before this was the 2005 FA cup
@@lordnignog1688 well premier league 2004 fa cup 2005 to name a few
Man literally just described my exact story watching this game 😂
Still remember Hull City's last attack in the last minute, and Per slipped by the side line. And my live stream stopped at that moment. Imagine the nervousness of mine. Anyway, when the signal was back we won the FA cup!
Giroud's backheel pass tho wow!
Man 10 years. I was watching this live on TV. Almost cried. Glad I watched Ramsey at his prime.
Sanogo has an FA Cup...
😅😅😅
Best believe it, man like Kieran Gibbs dem too.
Remember when Wenger started him against Bayern Munich in the Champions League QF? 😂
Still remember the feeling of this match. My t shirt was absolutely drenched from nervousness. Insane game!
i can’t believe there was a time where we had cazorla, özil, ramsey, rosicky, wilshere, arteta all in our midfield and all we won was an FA cup
We no longer had Cazorla, that was the problem
Injuries 😢
defense.we didn’t have a great defense and defense wins you trophies.also, multiple terrible injuries
Remember watching this game, sitting in hospital, 15 years old, having just finished my first round of chemo. Even the chemo couldn't stop me feeling great seeing Arsenal lift the trophy ❤.
Santi freekick changed the whole vibe of this game. legend
Giroud possibly the most underrated player of his generation. That assist 😮💨😘🤌🏼
Mikel Arteta😍😍 Now marshaling and commanding the gunners once again for bigger trophies and glories 👏👏👏
The gunners had been trophyless for 9 years prior to this FA Cup Final. I was watching the game in my living room and my mom asked me why I looked so dejected just 10 mins into to game. I'll never forget how much I was screaming in the end.
I went to this game… I went to every round that season. When we were 2-0 down I was saying to my friend “ah we’re going to lose” by that point I was just annoyed. He said “ah don’t say that” Then when it was 3-2 I said “we’re going to win” and he still wasn’t happy with me saying it. I couldn’t win 😂😂😂
So many great memories 😍 An amazing day to be a Gooner at Wembley ❤🥳
this was my favourite football match ive ever watched, that santi free kick sent me across the living room knee sliding
Giroud one touch so underated. Even by Gooners
That pass from Giroud was INSANE!!!!!
Looking at Arteta all I have is a big smile on my face....😁😁...
I'll never forget that touch from Giroud to Ramsey. Absolute magic!
Look at all the late opportunities Giroud created with his flicks and passes. Superb player
The 1979 FA Cup Final is probably still the most exciting and memorable. With 5 minutes left to play Man Utd scored two goals to bring the score to 2-2 and then Alan Sunderland scored again for Arsenal.
As an Arsenal supporter I’m old enough to remember both games!.
Live Giroud , one of the most underrated, under appreciated players in the leagues history! The back heel with bounce so Ramsey could get the half volley spring if he needed it is next level technique Arsenal no longer possess. : (
Always remember Santi’s goal. It was a comeback goal and brought a trophy for Ars after years
I remember it was well past midnight here in India by the time Ramsey scored, and the way I shouted after his goal woke my neighbours up and they even took the courtesy to call
Late Wenger era defense and the insane go all out offense was just nerve wrecking to watch
I was out playing ball when i heard we were down 2 -0. I left the pitch to come watch the match
Santi Cazorla brought back hope in this amazing comeback!
I miss Cazorla, one of my favourite Arsenal players of all time
What a team, it wasn’t the easiest of time but I remember the feeling. What a win it was
What an insane midfield. Ramsey, wilshire, Arteta, ozil, rosicky, carzola. Madness
I remember watching this live on TV! i was 18 years old! Today I'm 28 and I can tell you this was a wholesome feeling, alongside us beating Barcelona 2 -1
Never spotted this. The movement from Ramsey and Koscielny right before Cazorla's free kick at 04:08 are what causes the sidestep to the right from MacGregor. Class.
Gave me goosebumps, seeing this match again :)
i remember watching this. the best thing about going down 0-2 is how early it happened. always thought we could come back from that and we did.
I had the privilege of watching this game with my dad arrived on the day from South Africa a memory I will cherish
this and the reading comeback are the games that made me fall in love with arsenal
Koscielny... always put his body on the line ♥️🔥✨
Arsenal just love the FA Cup
So here was the legend arteta playing😂
Football can be so cruel, you need to seize moments like these, title races, cup finals, because you never know how long it will take to get into position again, it had been 9 years, we really really needed this one, If we didnt win this one, we may still have been waiting for another trophy to this day, but obviously we managed to get it over the line and retained it the following year. Cruel on hull, they had their moment, a play off final at Wembley with Dean Windass, but that doesn't really count as a major honour does it? This was the one they needed , Its been another 9 years and they haven't come close to winning anything else since. Every season as a football fan you live on hope.
arteta, rosiscky, cazorla, ramsey, wilshere this team was full of talent players
This was the first time I had tears of joy as an arsenal fan
So many players in this team at that time only won this FA during their tenures at Arsenal I'm so glad they had something to show for it
I remember this day so vividly. From a post-graduation ceremony to the hospital for surgery of a family member. Missed the entire game but I was more nervous than if I had watched, following every minute on livescore lol
7:17 ...I've seen that guy, in different videos...i never thought he's gunners' fun...😂
I watched this in the Gunners pub, great atmosphere.
Gunners ..... king's of FA Cup .... I'm so proud to be Arsenal Fan🎉
Kieron Gibbs, a legend left back! Carried Arsenal in hard times.
This match put me through the wringer
The joy from the fans when its 1-2 was so encouraging
What a team, Santi was a guy I would like to be reborn again
This was my first BIG arsenal game I went to and boy it did not disappoint. The first 5 minutes we were silent in shock 😭
Best day of my life ❤
That cazorla freekick was so special, i knew we was winning when that went in
Olivier Giroud so underrate❤one the greatest pure no9 of our time
It was only my second season supporting Arsenal. I almost hit the fan while celebrating the winner, what a season he had. Wish he'd stayed
This was heartbreaking as a lifelong Hull fan. Probably the closest we'll ever get to winning the FA cup. I really liked Steve Bruce as our manager. Glad to see Arsenal back challenging for the Premier League title again though, they were always my favourite PL team since the Henry era.
almost forgot how much I love Santi Cazorla - what a great ambassador for living your dreams
All These scences are still fresh in my mind.
I was there. When ramsay scored the 3rd I jumped up and fell down 5 rows crying. Everyone was laughing. Pure hysteria.. This is the magic of the Fa Cup!
Funny watching Hull-onians celebrating when we all know how it turned out. King Cazorlas amazing freekick was something else Rosisky, just such an underrated player, was 1 of my favourites but forever reliable impact player, Girouds , little jinxes was unique won us many a games
My first memory ❤
Trust me, Leandro Trossard is the next Santi Cazorla!
FA Cup 2014 ini jadi trofi pertama yg gw nikmatin as Arsenal fans, match yg amat sangat bikin stressful, karna banter 'Arsenal bakal tetep puasa trophy' makin menjadi karna 2 gol cepet dari Hull. But, freekick dari Santi its something si, selain indah ini juga jd turnover match ini. This classic match its already almost 10 years, but to be fair, its feels like yesterday!
That second goal, keeper was off the ground and wrecked koschielny's leg, that's a big red
How time flies . Miss this old days
It was a very much welcome triumph fot us as it came after 9 trophy less yrs after that epic penalty shoot out win against MUTD in 2005 . My favourite club winning another time at my favourite cup tournament.
We need a designated free kick taker like carzola
Yes we've always had at least one ,now we have none
Oh my days!!! It's been 10 years??? I remember this match like it was yesterday. COYG
Yo Spurs fans, Sanogo has a FA cup medal. Let that sink in!
"Steve Bruce has to take it on the chin." Someone was having a laugh.
