It's a lot of fun going full groundhog day and learning how the level/ai operates like clockwork, finally on the 50th run you can just walk through the map silently head shotting everyone like a deadly ghost

@@PrimeNPCyeah but that's the thing, it did not APPEAR like he'd played this level before. It seemed like an assassin reacting with pure instinct, evaluating threats in a microsecond and responding to them realistically.
Now this is what ive been looking for. Not a full "ghost" run and not "kill everyone" but definitely a tactical run. And for those who say John doesn't use stealth, he does especially in the first phases of his plan, just things tend to go awry.
After first phase it's gin blazing 🤯

@@dakinoytc986amazing if another cartel came in so was all out war . Many ideas developers hold back on us. Why add stun grenades for enemies . That crap is annoying . They wouldn't have them . If anything hitman should have a grenade on him . Or smoke grenades .so lazy developers.need more guns . That other mode would be amazing adding many weapons and attachments
@@delboy-su3wfHitman isn't the kind of game for a wide variety of weapons and attachments, though. It's not a 3rd person shooter, it's more of a murder-puzzle-sandbox game. The game is meant to be played by using disguises and items within each level to take your targets without anyone noticing or making it seem like an accident, which Agent 47 canonically has an affinity for. I wouldn't call the developers "lazy" for not implementing features that go against their design philosophy.

Lorewise, I believe this playstyle is Agent 47's true style of carrying out missions. The opening cinematic to Hitman 2: Silent Assassin plays out pretty much just like this, with Agent 47 swiftly dispatching enemies without being seen on camera. Great job!

yeah all these fancy accidents. This feels like what Hitman should be. A little splinter cell/ghost recon esq fast moving shit..... like a ghost
that's one of things that always bother me. Codename 47, the first Hitman game, is the best at portraying that - you had no ratings per se, but still had to pay heavy penalties for killing civilians and cops. It seems like the ratings were an afterthought implemented since H2 for the game to become more replayable, but it never felt to me like it's 47's canon way of doing things. Great video!
@@MultiLittlePsycho yes, why i hate the new hitman world of assassination series. All these accidental kills and humour they add in it. I know there was a bit in some older series too. Hitman is meant to be a dark and gritty game, but i think it was a commercial decision taken to bring more audiences (including younger people) into the franchise. The way the youtuber plays it (like john wick esq) is the way i want to experience hitman...

I love how realistic the depiction of camouflaged goons guarding drug lords in this Colombia mission. They reminded me of the notorious paramilitary death squads like the AUC and AGC.

This is seriously a Hollywood action sequence. Nicely done! What I wish the game would've done was also have a path to reward the player for these efficiency kills, instead of only awarding SA playstyle as the highest reward.

Good video, big fan of Hitman myself. I can see your having real fun with it too. Blast through a level like this after a bit of practice feels great. You really had it all under control the entire time, good timing which really shows you know all the pathways, without using the “see through walls” ability.

Funny how I completed entire hitman 2 on my first playthrough in this way (+ those throwing stuff, not gonna lie it's a pretty fun mechanic and it's implemented so well in this game...adds a degree of humour to the game aswell when you do it right)... anyways amazing video right there mate, appropriately titled "100% immersion"... you just got me the motivation I needed to purchase Hitman 3 and visit Columbia again (to commit war crimes lol XD)

2:32 ngl this moment was oddly disturbing to me, cuz its 100% how a guard would react if he saw some bald dude hop a fence, and its very possible for said bald dude to be like agent 47 and just immediately open fire without hesitation, it reminded me of times ive seen/heard of storys where people get attacked and how quickly they'll esculate the situation once a knife is drawn or a gun is pulled, just one second youre doing your job the next your dead Or im just overthinking it, cuz im high, ive done far worse to ai in games then this lmao

I think perfect dark is much closer to a bond game than hitman, since the majority of hitman is just assassinating targets and disabling cameras, whereas perfect dark has a big emphasis on gadgets as well as weapons and different things to do aside from just killing specific targets.
love the gameplay, incredibly late to the party. Although, in my personal opinion. John wick style is more like full stealth with no disguise, no distractions. appearing only in front of your target then immediately killing them or make them run away scared then hunting them down, but only killing your target and no one else. After all john wick earned the name "boogeyman" for a reason. one time he's not there, blink and there they are, appearing infront of you. no living things ever actually saw him, and once they do, they die. no one saw them, but everyone fears them. based on the movie, john wick have a particular style, a single headshot to their target, unless it's a CQC, but that's just for the action movie aesthetics, i guess. as the movie said "john wick is a man of focus, determination, and sheer fucking willpower". put that into an assassin terms, it translate to "john wick learn his route, patient to reach them at their most vulnerable state, and will hunt his target down to hell if necessary".
My knowledge is based on the Wick movies, and in his movies its all gun blazing. To make this videos i do learn the route and research the best path to make the most entertaining video
Now that I think about it this is a great way to learn the layouts of the areas with more enemies. Because you kill all of them anyway so you can learn where everyone is and and where all the weaknesses are in the area.
