I wish to highlight certain ludicrous claims in the WaPo article. 1) The article refers to eleven Kashmiri and Sikh "separatists" being neutralized in Pakistan in the past two years (two days ago the article had referred to these individuals as "activists", at least the writers have updated the designation). These separatists include Zahid Akhund, who was involved in the Air India hijacking. Shahid Latif, the commander of Jaish e Mohammad. Riyaz Ahmad, a top Lashkar commander. These are not benign souls who were conducting pro-democracy activism in India, these men were responsible for killing Indian citizens, yet had continued to operate with impunity in Pakistan. 2) Even more ludicrous, the article claims that Indian intelligence is increasingly harassing groups abroad that are "perceived as disloyal to the Modi govt". Seriously? The groups that parade the assassination of our former Prime Minister through the streets of Brampton are disloyal to the Modi govt.? Groups like SJF, which wants to carve an independent state of Khalistan out of India, are being targeted for their opposition to Modi govt.?
Typical West hegemony. The worry is that they are not able to continue it with Modi.

Did you even listen to the interview, or did you write your comment after reading the title? The interview clearly reveals that there is credible evidence of an attempted assassination by India on American soil against an American citizen, and for the most part the Biden administration has decided not to make a big fuss about, so as not to sour the relationship with India, primarily because the US wants India as ally and counterweight to China. The Biden administration even warned the Modi government of the fact that the Washington Post was going to forward the story days ahead of publishing. The only speculated actions by the Biden administration is behind closed doors. This is about as light a response one could expect from any sovereign nation. The United States did let "China off the hook" in the past in the hopes that China would become an open, democratic country that followed the rules-based order of the international community. Unfortunately, this did not happen, and unfortunately the US was lax with Chinese longer than it should have. However, both the Trump and Biden administration, thankfully, are not doing that. Both administrations are calling China out on its bad behavior, and is taking action through trade wars, tariffs, and technological containment.

India after independence always had Hindutva fascist ideology. It’s a supremacy ideology which openly linked to Hindu, Hindi and Hindutva. Once you know these three pillars of Hindutva, you will know why India do it. 1947 Sikhs to go with India was a blunder.
