The wiping days are no more, merely a whisper in the wind. The specter calls to me, softly. I do not call back, but I listen. Our arrangement was unwarranted, but missed dearly. The specter was never welcome, but his presence was still that, present. He was a chilling spirit, yet warm in my heart. Bathroom specter, thank you for what you gave me: not just a clean wipe, but a clean soul.

Heyo! Sorry for taking so long to get this video out. Hope you enjoy it though! If you want to snag one of those long sleeve shirts I mentioned at the end, there's a link in the description to my Teespring store. My Instagram is linked too, which is free, but unfortunately you can't wear it.
Hi bud
No worries. It takes the time it takes. Also, your brother's twin turbo WHAT, now?
Thank you for sharing this with us!
Plzzz
Was just rewatching old videos and then saw this
As a finale to this series, go back to the guy you bought it from and ask him if he would like one final ride in the car as a thank you for making this series possible.
This is the best comment
If only bovid-19 wasn't a thing
and then get him to crash it again so you can start again!
That'd be great!
No. It might get stuck in the mud again.
This is better than a TV series. Not joking.
It’s not even fair. Detailed, entertaining, riveting... his videos are what makes KZhead a much better experience than anything on TV
I mean, the Fargo TV series is pretty killin’ but I must say this comes close
True.
Thats so tru I follow a lot of yt doing this but this channel you just feel the happiness of completing something that you doing your self
Yeah, 100% agreed.
Every video you look more and more like a reassuring midwestern dad who's about to grill up some delicious brats after he finishes working on the car.

"After 3 years.. It's done." That hit me hard too.
Im not crying, youre crying
"My project car is done" - Famous last words
Project cars are never really done.
by the time you "finish," it's time to fix new things. ...or _swap it_
It's more if a restoration, so maybe he can get by on a technicality 😅
Now we modify and upgrade 🤔
I envy those who would have the ability to binge watch this whole series in one day. Damn you people.
going to marathon this today. Cheers!
We can be those people. Nothing stopping us starting from the beginning.
I have rewatched the entire series from beginning to end every time a new video drops
the wait has been worth it, and now we need a new project.
Done it twice already. *Fear me.*
"And the car is done" Hagrid: I should not have said that...
man, this is the best rebuild series on KZhead. No shitty sponsors with new products every 5 seconds. Long lasting and DETAILED in every single fix, no shorcuts taken also. You sir need a new project to start this journey again
Anyone else gonna be real sad when this series is over?
Yeah bro I’ve been watching this since like the 3rd episode
Same
Yes, but looking forward to the next one, whatever that might be.
I'm almost at the point I want to start a go fund me to help him get whatever car or truck he wants to work on next just to watch it from day one
Hahaha phantom wipe!
Ok, Ok. This project isn’t truly done until we see that beautifully restored Fiero driving down the road and a following “Man rebuilds his Fiero in 10 minutes” time lapse video.
Definitely needs a timelapse. That would get crazy views!
it also isn't truly done until Bruce/Suzie see that Fiero again
The Phantom Wipe gag is low key the funniest gag I've seen in a long time. I had a hearty chuckle on the first bit, then when you said "Thank you," I was rolling.
Phantom wipe became a meme for me, idk about you guys but I laugh every single time lol
Can't believe it's nearly over. I was in school when this series started. I'm now almost halfway through university
Damn
Done? What are you talking about? We need to see the windshield install and body panels put on. Then the obligatory maiden voyage to Mardi Gras with your girlfriend. Then, once you get bailed out of jail, the Fiero is done. 😛
Um, agreed! I’ve loved following along but we have to see the maiden voyage! Dont all revival videos do That?
Imagine if the whole reason the car was abandoned was because no one could figure out how to turn wipers off.
Judging on all the mechanical work, it wasn’t. But I bet the wipers were the last straw haha.

That wonderful feeling when you click on "subscriptions" and a new Fiero video was posted 1 minute ago!
Fuck, I almost teared up at the ending...
Bruh same
We all did 😭
Wasn't expecting to get hit hard in the feels
I fully expect the old allergies to hit me hard on the finale episode of this. I've never been so proud of a total stranger.
Right? Geeze.
I swear there’s always someone cutting onions in these videos
The “Project” may be coming to a “close”...but the 2M4 Fiero’s life is just beginning...again!
When a man grows a mustach that grand, you'll know he's been through hell. Or rebuilding an old Fiero.
Is there a difference?
That's a Tom Selleck worthy stash
Eh, same thing;)
That looks exactly like the mustache I was sporting when I was driving a red 84 fiero around. I just had a not so sweet mullet to go with it
If I had to guess, that mustache will guest star in the 80's themed finale. And I can't wait.
"Mom, Dad's in his office watching one of those old car videos. And... he's... CRYING!"
You're not alone my friend. 😄😅
Mom: You should be crying with him you little bastard!
Hahahahha this made me audibly laugh
I almost had some tears , I did feel the tugging of the heart strings tho.
Hahaha!! I've been caught in my office like this watching other videos. Thanks for the laugh!
I envy the people in the future who get to watch this whole series nonstop.
True. But I feel I’m definitely gonna watch it again from start to finish when It ends.
@@hamzarauf1727 oh definitely!
I cant believe we have hall watch him for so many years and it does not evan feel likes its been along time that he has worked on this project
Came for the haunting, stayed for the mustache. LOL!
When the car is truly finished, can we get a curse compilation
And a comp of all the creepy clone stuff...
The only truly disappointing part of the whole series. Totally unnecessary and childish.
@@dhyde9207 anyone who says that they never curse while working on cars is lying, or hasn’t been working on cars long enough
@@nickfury1279... maybe in your world. Not in mine.
@@dhyde9207 Your world sounds stuffy and sad.
You still need to come out with the final video of installing the remaining panels, window replacement, and driving back to the previous owners house to show her the transformation. So the series ain’t done yet.
White walls would have looked so good with those turbo fan rims! Personally I’ve been trying to look for white wall for my Toyota matrix. They’re due for a come back in popularity.
Lord I'm gonna cry over someone else's car aren't I? Such a long journey almost over!
And for a Fiero no less 😂😂😂
@@geerstyresoil3136 i never wanted to own a fiero so much lol
@@chinmothyyea, I always thought they were cool cars especially the later model 1988 ones, but this series made me appreciate the earlier ones more.
Almost over? Don’t you mean still beginning?
You could always go back and rewatch it, relive the memories.
Needs a proper finale for one of the greatest KZhead series of all time.
That last epilogue sounds reminds me of finishing graduate school. A monumental project seen to almost finish and little unsure of the future
I said it before, this kid is great and gives us all hope for the future of the car hobby. He should have his own show on motortrend ,and I have a suggestion, get rid of the amateurish roadkill and let this guy go ❗️🇺🇸
Thanks for teaching us what perseverance is and never give up on a dream, greetings from Argentina

I'm not even a car guy but I've loved this whole series. Bittersweet that it's coming to an end.
Did he ever tackle the A/C? Am I not remembering?
@@thebigjohn8239 if I remember correctly, he did changed the AC compressor and all the rubber seals to be compatible with r134 refrigerant, so i guess it just needs to be charged with refrigerant.
Guy is amazing. When he started fixing easily replaceable components, my initial reaction was “Why? That’s silly!” A few videos later, the fact that he’s doing that is my favorite part. That’s pride & professionalism on a new level.
damn you almost got me crying at the end and shit
I hear the music and just think “journey across Japan”
Was looking for that comment
Ronald is restoring his moustache to match the Fiero's build year.
my thoughts exactly!
You might hate me for this, but I think you should swap the rear springs for the aftermarket ones as well. Because when you changed the front springs for stiffer ones, you have changed the balance of the car's handling. Presumably the lowering spring kit is actually thought out as a whole, so the spring rates complement each other and the car's handling balance is preserved. It should be a lot more fun to drive with the whole spring it in it.
this. im pretty sure the rear springs are simply just worn out abit since the engine weight is in the back, i also have a car with engine at the back and i was also dealing with this exact issue, and replacing the rear springs with new oem spec ones fixed it completely. id bet if the rear eibachs would be fit too, it will sit as it does now and the suspension wont be out of balance.
Agreed fully. Having different rate springs front and back is a bad idea, especially when the old ones are worn out. Putting the lowered ones in the rear should make it site perfectly evenly and have the correct matching spring rates front and back.
Yup. One more vote to replace the rear springs too. Especially since you bought a matched set of 4.
Yeah, you may as well USE the matching new rear springs since you HAVE them. As others have noted - the stiffer suspension springs all around will likely ride perfectly and level.
Having stiffer springs in the front will just increase the understeer, which is perfectly fine. It's not a safety issue and the handling won't be noticeably screwed up unless he's autocrossing it. But having said that, yeah I'd swap out the rear springs as well if it was my car. Nobody wants to buy rear lowering springs without the fronts, so he's stuck with them, might as well use them. Also there's no down- side to installing them.
It's actually never done. Once you get her on the road, there will be more things that creep up.
There are many reasons why i love the series. First of all. That he started as a kid is now a Boomer. But for real. He showed that with dedication and researching you can be a better mechanic than ectual mechanics. I wouldve replace alot of the parts he rebuild which i think is pretty inspiring because he really wanted to keep it stock and know how everything works. He probably will never do that again. But his dedication to make it as perfekt as he can is really impressiv. Edit; something really important down here Edit; i just notice something kinda important. Your seatbelts should be replaced with new ones. When you pull them out theyll still full of mold. But thats not the problem. I think they might get weakend by the mold and beeing that old and could snap in an accident.
"Holy crap that's extremely stiff now" -Ronald Finger 2021
I thought to myself "that's what she said" and immediately after he put a ";)" on the screen, lol.

The ending was enough to make a grown man cry,,, and thats okay.

Been watching this since my senior year of high school and now I’m almost done with my sophomore year of college. Time has really flown by
This project isn't done until I see a sweet Fiero burnout in an shopping mall parking lot.
The 24 dislikes are people with no heart and very little understanding of how much work this is.
no, the 24 dislikes are the only 24 viewers that are also SS members of the NAZI party!
damn racist bolts.
don't focus on the negatives in life. there are _380x_ as many likes
I would install the eibach rears also, the increased spring rate will improve handeling, great work by the way
You definitely want matching spring rates when driving down the road.
I agree, was thinking the same thing. It will make the car handle really weird, rock hard in the front, oem bouncy in the back. Especially for a mid engined car, I can imagine a situation like that would cause things to get real interesting in hard cornering and quick manuvers
Agreed
@@dateatorjr9671 he's gonna be concerned about lowering the back giving it that aggressive stance again, which he didn't prefer
That will be the next episode, I am sure.
3 years! What a journey you've taken us all along on. My hat is off to you, your work ethic, skill sets, perseverance and gracious humility. A rebuild is hard, editing is hard, a coherent narration is hard...and you combined all three wonderfully. THANK YOU for sharing with us. Truly.
Cant believe it's been three years since I started watching this restoration
Clicked here so fast my right index finger had doppler effects.
Can anyone else wait till the 2nd series when he gets pissed off and throws the 3.8 GTP engine in it?
The GTP was too heavy for that engine to breathe anyway lol. Would give it a better home.
Oh no. Six-months-in-the-future Ron is coming. I can feel his presence.
Right before the end of this I was like "What about the cracked windshield?!?!"

This project has aged Ronald by about 10 years. That's what it feels like to chew 5 Gum.
You can see the age in the mustache. I would know, mine is curling already and I've barely started on my Daihatsu lol
@@TheYanez4life lol when your mustache starts curling into your mouth, you know its been a while.

Ronald: The project is almost done. Me: *choking back tears* Please find another problem to fix. I've been following since the beginning. One of the best restorations on the internet.
I like how you take the time to repair the old parts and not just throw a parts bin at the car. Makes it way more fun to watch.
Can't believe I've been watching this series for 4 years. No where near Project Binky levels of commitment yet but we're getting there!
I have actually cried at the end. 3 years, its done.
Could this be it? Is the Fiero revival finally over? onto the next car eh my guy?
I thought the same thing a few videos ago, lol.
Pretty sure he'll do something different
I'm confused too, seems like a last episode yet it's clearly not finished... surely at least a little finale with the windshield and front on, driving away into the sunset while listening to some synthwave, some cheesy line like "I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship."

I do hope you will do another "final" episode with an assembled, complete car. i've really enjoyed these videos. i'll look forward to the next. thank you sir.
Final episode needs to include a roadtrip to the previous owners to show them the car that was pulled out of their yard.
@@TonyPowell_Munich Exactly what I was thinking! Bruce gave him a huge discount because he knew the car would be restored instead of parted out. I'm sure he'd love to see it in person.

I'm so glad this ended up more than 10 parts long. I don't even like Fieros but this was so interesting
Honestly I've just let the ghost completely take over wiping duties. He has completely stopped making my toddler's head spin around while vomiting, and my undercarriage has never been cleaner.

There's probably ghosts in the wipers, ghosts are pretty common after all.
That ghost is just in hiding at the moment. Something tells me it just might yet return again. :-)

I worked in the parts department of a Pontiac dealership in south Florida in the '80's and we sold a lot of Fieros. I never thought the day would come that these would be classics but here we are! You have done a spectacular job of restoring this car and taking us with you. Thanks!
I started watching this series since part 2 and I hadn't even started university yet... now I'm a few months away from graduating and so is this sweet car of yours! Great work as always!
Exact same thing happened to me. I just started it when he posted the towing video.
Nice gratz to the both of you!
I've been here for the full 3 years and have been invested in this series like many others and I'll gladly say it was so much fun being along for the ride. So cool to see your channel has grown so much because of a Fiero.
"...maybe you could've chosen a better font than this..." 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!!
It doesn't feel like I've been following this for 3 years
>makes video ... >gastank: "is it ... for me??"
I can't be the only person who makes a full stop of whatever they're doing when RF drops a new video in the Fiero series.
100%, been following along since pt 2 and legit got a bit emotional at the end of this
It's akin to when a project binky video lands and it's interesting how these two prodigal children of the car world are both in their final stages (binky less so but it's a different thing) and ready to take off.
I loved fallowing this. Me and my dad watched all of the episodes! He is a really petty carguy with just like he raised me. We restored my engine and cleaned it with toothbrushes. And sandblasted the shit rust to the moon. But we really ejoyed this series my guy well done.. This car is in fact actually in top notch shape now. You should be proud. Support from Sweden!

I'm so sad this series is over, but feel like we need at least ONE MORE final completed video, Road trip maybe? 💙
This series has been the most constant thing in my life the last 3 years
I remember starting this series on the second episode, I was preparing for mock exams in school. I laughed to myself saying "I'll be in my final year of school when he finishes this" and lone behold, I sit my final exams in 3 months from now, exactly 3 years ago

Quietly enjoying it, but as I start to sense the end of this years long journey, I must speak now. Fantastic work, and sublime story telling. Been watching this series ever since it came out three years ago and I got to say this is some impressive hard work. Love the series.
Many people have enjoyed watching you with this series and you learning from trial and error to make the car yours. Your memories from the past times you had with your fathers car, to the one you had in high school make this rebuild special.
I am one of your viewers when this project started. I was in college back then, and followed along. I graduated, still watching you progress in finishing this great car. Even in my review days for my licensure exams which took 6 months, I was there, waiting for your updates. I think this is one of the reasons why i didn't give up on my goal and never stop on reaching to it. I passed my licensure and still looking forward on seeing you finish your goal too. I envy those who can watch this series in one seating. Because majority of us here, waited patiently for you to finish this. We are all so proud of you.
