We have been having some issues with the boat...vibration at 1100-2000rpm but smooth below that and above...anyone have any ideas???? It was an amazing trip just kept the troll at 10knots which is fast for our boat, we usually troll at 6-7 knots but it worked well for this run!!!

If its got a vibration under load one thing to try to see if its the engine or drivetrain is (while in neutral) to bring the engine up to the rpm range that you have the vibration in and see if its still there. If not then its possible its in the leg or prop. You are running a Volvo 200 or 230hp engine? Normally pretty smooth. Seen some with crank damper/balancer issues tho. Engine mounts can and do fail in various ways. Can get engine to bad rev range and check if tightening or even slackening a mount can help alleviate it. Hardest one to get to if it is a problem will be driveplate between flywheel and sternleg. Prop/props ( if dup-prop) can and will cause vibration as well. If it is yhe engine they are bad on chewing out the camplate and rollers in the VE type injector pump. Problem Gets worse and worse and then rather expensive.
.....THANK YOU!!! I have tried a lot, changed prop, leg..checked motor mounts and a few more things...never thought about that. It is pushing 25 knots this weekend but Ivan wants to go so i will try what you said....Thank you for the idea, I will let you know.
I ran it last week and on the dock bumped it up to 1300-1500 where it will vibrate and it was perfect....under way it still vibrates....I really appreciate the advise. Any other thoughts?
@@Ivan_cracka.kanaka Hmmmmm. Props been balanced? It might be hard to get at and do but have you tried slackening one engine mount off at a time? Just crack the hold-down nut off then try it. Engine mounts could be whats called out of winding.
