  • I missed the point of why it's a offense to have the road in the shot? I kind of liked it to see a pathway & knowing all the surroundings.

  • In Sweden, and probably all over the northern hemisphere, there are every autumn a lot of elks eating fermented apples, getting drunk and disorderly in people's gardens (while the people huddle indoors, nowadays filming the elks' unruly behaviour and later posting it on KZhead). And this is well before food starts to get scarce, so it is not from desperation they eat these apples. I think that apples are like candy to elks in general and that some of them don't mind the alcohol content. From what I heard, it takes less drugs so sedate an elephant than a crocodile (it supposedly has something to do with elephants having frontal lobes and all that, while crocs have to make do with the reptilian brain). Perhaps elephants are as sensitive to alcohol as they are to sedation and consciously avoid fermented fruit. (If so, isn't it proven beyond doubt that they are smarter than humans?)

  • I wonder if this is the deformed elephant that James talks about called, "Elvina," as at this YOU TUBE address is a 2005 video of a deformed elephant calf with deformed knees in Kruger National Park. kzhead.info/sun/etidm6Z8kaxjn2g/bejne.html If so, it is very sad how elephants must abandon those who cannot keep up with the herd as they move to find fresh food, as James states that, "When Elvina was abandoned by her herd, after keeping up with them for several years, she was eventually attacked by 25 hyenas who killed her and ate her while she was still alive (as no hyena has the ability to kill such a large prey). Life can be very sad, no matter if you are a deformed elephant abandoned by your herd, or if you are a small child abandoned in a war zone.
