i love how just having a decent weapon which can shoot enemies makes you 10x better in stalker

I obtained this gem of a gun once from a Dutier that died at the enterance to the bar. Had it for the rest of the game. It's pretty cool how you can get the most useful gun at the very beginning of the game.

best gun from an Dutier? Most of the time they are careing nn abakan or VAL. And only one guy in Duty is using a modified grom 14 (idk how it is called in the english version). Literally any weapon from Freedom is better, not talking about stuff Monolith uses
Sidorovich has the unique one that shoots 5.45 istead of 9x39.
most useful? not by a long shot, its good for sure but the normal val, grom, vintorez are all way better

you should mention that the silent pistol is the more decent weapon from the early game. All the other shit is spray and pray.
not really, very little difference between standard pm and silenced... And even those become useless in a second to the shotgun, and then to the viper.
Cordon is one of the coziest starting areas I've ever encountered 😊

@@PepechanxdThe editing isn’t really that complex, it’s just music, some cuts and clips combined. Not shit-talking the channel, simple editing can be better at times, and in this case, it works.

@@kitosjek9541 Honestly, my first taste of Stalker was a Anomaly, but after going back and playing the actual games and then trying out Gamma, I think the more realistic gameplay is a massive improvement on the arcade aspect of the games

FFS. Coming into this game blind, i had no idea you could even break crates lol I was playing it like CoD and dying on the 2nd enemy i saw, every time. Hahaha. Okay. More stealth required.

the only thing i have to say to you is THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY LIFE SO MUCH EASIER IN THIS GAME
Every time I start a new SoC game, I do the first mission with taking out the bandits, sell all the goods, and then run to the military blockpost with a shotgun, take out the patrol squad, take their AKM's, save, and rush into the base without dying (usually reloading several times), hide in the watchtower, and then clear the base by camping the staircase, killing the soldiers as they try to get me. I found it to be the best way to optimize early game, as you get all the loot and weapons from the first 2 starter bases, which gives you good weapons and money to start with.

Oh I see what you did there. You got the Groza that’s modified to fire the more common 5.45 rounds. Yeah you basically become impossible to kill with that gun in your arsenal. 😂

The military part must have been very stressful.
When I tried to sneak into the military camp, I failed the jump. Since I had quick saved before, I would just load that save. Now they are agro and is on high alert xD

If you combine it with the VSS in your loadout, you become a god at any range.

Huh. That seems to be an upgraded Thunder that somehow takes in AK ammo. For me the Thunder was a glorified grenade launcher since I only had like 23 shots in it.

when you jumped on top of the train to get the artefact I noticed you aren't under a radiation effect but when I go there I'm taking constant rad damage, does that sound usual? 2:24

@@modus0 Just checked, I was using the newest stable version of ZRP last I played, which was about 3 years ago. I can't remember why I did that, I think I was actually having some issues, but it's been so long I've forgotten. Oh well, thank you again.

I basically clueless my way by killing military check point in first area and other military base for documents. I now have 20,000 rubles now, thank for pointing me for that sweet gun.

Would it theoretically be faster to rush to the Army Warehouses from the start of the game to grab the guaranteed Vintorez spawn w/ ammo from the Freedom base?
No
You would still have to get to bar first, meaning you would have to either pay duty at the entrance or kill all the hogs with shit weapons
@@intecrisis You can just knife the gate to open it.
@@magpie3070 or jump over the fence, which can be tricky... stabbing the game sounds easy, but Duty can randomly aggro when you try to pass it. Edit - there's more ammo for VSS/VAL in the Dark Valley - in the building where entrance to the Lab is... under the staircase there's some structure with metal boxes on them. That's where ammo is.
Stalker on master is the easy difficulty.
Sooo Thunder in 5,45x39mm but when it degrade too much...in SOC can't repair...

How is it the gun uses AK ammo? For me it is set to AS VAL ammo
there are two guns: tunder s14 and tunder 5.45. The one that uses as val ammo is the tunder s14, the one I used in the video Thunder 5.45

I think the console version might be trickier. I did everything in the video, and ended up nine-thousand SR short. Had to sell some of the ammo.

This video is definitely helpful, but some of it just isn't. Like that crate full of 9mm ammo, I looked around for half an hour, referencing your map to try and find the spot and I just can't find the thing lol. Some stuff could use a bit of a route.

This helps too found the 9mm box if your facing the military outpost with the road on the left youll see the boxes on the bushes to the right

Then you better make your shots count.
Majority of unique weapons in SOC have increased durability (more precisely they degrade slower). Thunder 5.45 takes twice as many bullets to degrade from max to min condition in comparison to regular Thunder.

thunder 5.45 spawns with a 10% chance after loading a save, so it will take a long time to save and load. and the trick is that it permanently disappears from the assortment if you talk to the Wolf after the bandits at the vehicle station. i also have no idea how things are going in the console version
Can confirm on Xbox one, it still works just do quests and don’t talk to Wolf after raiding the first area to get the USB. Reloaded the save 4 times and it popped up.
Simple, just dupe Mama's Beeds.

Man the accuracy of early guns is shit Also ammo is fucking nowhere medkits vaporise after 1 conflict Still i love this game
Quick tip Master difficulty makes the gamplay a little bit more enjoyable because enemies die faster what saves you ammo and meds and the only downside is that you also die faster, what makes not really a huge difference because the ai is brain dead.

@@dycon1323 it only spawns if you are still at the beginning of the game mission wise (had to find out the hard way, too), so after I think the mission where you raid the bandit camp it won't show up anymore sadly, if that is the case
