  • Actually, Eva died in 1996 and was only recognised as a great artist well after that. I believe there were mostly posthumous albums that gained her wide acclaim. Thanks as always to BigAngieFan for the continuing work....

  • Never got to see Eva Cassidy , she died in 1996. In 1998 a radio show in the UK played one of her songs - she was pretty much unknown and the album went Platinum in the UK and USA. I still have the album that I bought at the time. Saw Angelina in London at the O2 and have a ticket for her concert in July.

  • I am usually not a fan onf mashups but this one is magical. And the guitar is also from Eva, she was an amazing instrumentalist as well. Did you react to Eva’s Somewhere over the rainbow? If not you definitely should do.

  • I feel like we just watched a movie, an epic movie. Wasn't it beautiful? Emerson, the 'BigAngieFan' name is Chris Walker and, to me, this is an award winning mashup. The sadness we felt was impossible to ignore and this is a video I will come back to watch over and over again. Thank you for your usual beautiful reaction to Angelina (and to Eva, as well) and congrats to Chris Walker for creating such a magnificent video for all of us to enjoy.

  • I appreciate both artists, but I'm sorry to say that I don't like this, and couldn't wait for Angelina to stop singing. This is Eva's song and it stands alone and doesn't need any accompaniment.
