  • Hey Alex whatever you said in this video is quite similar to my life right now like going clean shave makes me look like a baby and I'm 18 right now and actually have a patchy beard but i keep it in shape every time and because of this people think that I'm in my 20s and this has helped me to make some older friends and one more fact that my face shape is similar to that of yours and i'm here everytime to take some hairstyle inspiration from you and I've been following you since the last 2 years

  • I've started go keep a stubble because of my gf. I used to be clean shaven or grow a chinstrap every once in a while. After 2 months of hanging out, she insisted me so many time to try growing out some facial hair then, one month after, I discovered some patches around the face but my mustache is huge so I've been rockin the beardstache since then and it looks amazing and requieres way less maintenance. It's been exactly 3 years now.

  • Can relate with the mature part. My height is 5"6, have a baby face, age is 23. With clean shaven look I can easily look like a school child. A 6 mm stubble helps me look more mature.

  • I feel like these are great tips if you have a lot of facial hair on the cheeks like Alex has but if you have patchy cheeks which most people do might be better to be clean shaven or figure out a different facial hair style.

  • I’m 16 and was able to first grow a full beard at 15 and I too always have some sort of facial hair. Varies in length but I always need something, looks so much better.

  • Great video Alex- the short beard/stubble looks amazing on you. The flip side for older gentleman like me ( Over 50 ) is that a beard or stubble with grey hair mixed in with your one natural hair color will make you look older .I do not want to look older. Just saying :-0

  • I go with a messy hair and I think messy hair better suits with a clean shave rather than a stubble or beard ...so clean shave is now my thing and if I want to have any other hairstyle I can go with a stubble which elevates the hair style of mine with my facial hair.

  • Yo if you wanna grow a beard, just know it took me till about age 28, lifting and gaining muscle seem to have allowed me to grow a full beard.. It literally took that long I had alot of patches. Im pretty sure it is mostly based on genetics, my mom is filipino my dad is Scotish
