    • It becomes an addiction...the stealing. I'd imagine if they were taught to do it by family they don't see it as something wrong to do. I've busted shoplifters, when I was a manager at a retail store, and they had a wallet full of money but got caught stealing cheap stuff. A lot of these people stealing do it for the high of adrenaline and because they've got away with it so many times they don't see the point in paying for it. Until they realize it comes with a high price of destroying their record as well as breaking any trust they had, now and in the future, with their jobs, coworkers, family and friends.

  • I saw a group of guys about college age at the Walmart I shop at. They were in the meat section. They would pick up a package of some beef and out it over with the pork. I watched all of them do this till everything was all jumbled up and not where it was supposed to be. And put on the shelves upside down , sideways, etc. A lady near me who watched this looked at me in disgust and we both put everything back where it belonged. I’ve also noticed that there are single items on shelves throughout the store that don’t belong there, like a package of frozen fish in the cereal aisle. I used to put these things in my cart and put them back where they’re supposed to be but after watching this video, I might be better off leaving things alone for fear I might be targeted as a shoplifter. People are sick......

  • I’d be so ashamed and embarrassed to even think I could get away with something like this… I’m not sure what part of growing up did their parent’s miss to explain the importance of being productive one day and contributing to society. And then sadly, most parent’s did. But this is a grown woman who had to know the impact of what she was doing. She’ll move out of state and do it somewhere else. Because now that she ratted out her crew I doubt she’ll show face in Fla again.

    • That's when they go into the fitting room with two of everything works for stores that require receipts. The first set is returned normally with the receipt while the second set (that is stuffed in street clothes) is sold to fencers like the gentleman with the store toward the end of the video. I know old comment but just saying.

    • It is already implemented. This video is old as dirt. That alone tells u it was years ago. Way b4 cell phones. Now u need for the tag to still be on the clothing as well. You can't return if the tag is off of it. Even with a receipt.

  • I work in retail. For a while we had "customers" who would steal prepaid gaming cards. All we could do was laugh because they apparently didn't know that those cards have to be paid for to activate them. Until they're paid for, they are worth around 1/3 of one penny. Finally, we had a woman who came in and stole the highest denomination amount for Xbox. She had torn out the whole fixture with around 50+ cards on it. The next day we found the whole fixture still attached to the cards - she dumped them in a movie bin when she brought them back. Word must've got around because we haven't had anybody steal them in a long while.

  • Worked in a dept store for 16+ yrs. It is a daily problem, epidemic. I was always wondering why our local police didn't set up a sub-station in our mall. One time, I was on the phone to 911 on our sidewalk, describing the thief, and her car, parked on the curb with the get-away driver, while she unloaded the buggy, ignoring my pleas to stop and come back in to curtail her charges. Instead, she opted for the hard way. She ended up ditching the driver at the Wal-mart across the street, running down the highway on the wrong side of the road while deputies were in pursuit, and going down a dead end dirt road where she was apprehended. Also lost her weave in the resisting arrest struggle. Wonder if she determined the value of her foolish decision was worth more than the retail of her 'take'.

  • When I was 19 (about 20 years ago) and going through college I worked at Walmart in the men’s dept, (and helped with other soft lines areas) that was the section where shoplifters would leave various packages such as empty CD cases, opened packages with the products missing, food wrappers and honestly it was incredible what they took and how quickly they could take it. It didn’t matter how many people were around they worked in groups. And I was a naive 19 year old so I only noticed a tiny bit of it but I found the aftermath quite a lot. And they would hide the empty packages in the men’s underwear and socks section. The oddest thing I found was two empty beta fish jars. Don’t know why you’d need to steal a couple of beta fish but then again I don’t know why you’d need to steal half the stuff they stole. It really does rise prices after a while. And our box of stolen empty packages was insane and it was every single day. We also had knock out drag out fights over products. The biggest one was a flannel lined jacket that these two women went into a fiat fight over and I was like “we have more in the back,” and they literally stopped fighting and then the kicker was that one lady ended up not even buying the jacket that just a few moments earlier she threw punches over. Ahhhh the stories I had from Walmart. But I honestly enjoyed working in the men’s dept.

They would hide stuff underneath their own babies in their car seat! The ones that got caught would all of a sudden come up with the money to pay for it! We had one lady that had a oversized girdle on underneath her dress and stuffed expensive meats and seafood in the girdle. Another lady had one of those bed in a bag stuffed with electronics. The cashier made the comment while ringing her up that the bag felt heavy. The lady walked right out with it. Needless to say that everyone had to take a class on how we can spot things that shouldn't be so heavy if they shouldn't be. Thieves make it harder on the paying customers.

  • She gave up sixteen of her co-conspirators? Wow. No honour amongst thieves. She'd have to do her time in protective custody. If word got out that she stitched up sixteen others . . . . . .

    • @Levitie King The bitch could change her name to "Fluffy", and it wouldn't matter. Her face is CLEARLY VISIBLE to everyone watching this video. No matter where she moves and tries to start over, her reputation as a police informant (AKA, rat) will always follow her. Fellow criminals and thieves won't trust her, because they know she'll rat them out if the pressure becomes too much.

    • I would choose shoplifting over being a snitch any day. Shoplifting is a crime and if you get caught you can go to jail and have probation. Getting caught for snitching can be the death penalty and or mutilation. You choose.
