In this video, Abhi and Niyu explain why Maldives is going bankrupt and how this will impact India. Maldives leaders insulted India in the month of January by calling PM Modi a clown and Boycott Maldives was trending on Twitter for many weeks. PM Modi promoted Lakshadweep and asked the entire Indian tourists to visit Indian islands rather than going abroad. Many celebrities responded favourably by choosing Lakshadweep over Maldives. Now IMF has warned Maldives that it is facing serious economic threat.
