Thank you for watching this video. Please comment below, I love hearing from you! :)
When I discovered hoop dance I instantly fell in love with it. As a new mom at the time I was in search of a fun and different form of exercise that I could do from the convenience of my home and I initially started hooping for the health and fitness aspects of it.
However hoop dance became so much more to me than that. It became my own creative form of self-expression and stress relief. It deepened my mind body connection and became my moving meditation. It boosted my confidence and helped me to create a healthy active lifestyle.
It ultimately gave me a total self-transformation and taught me the art of practice, patience and perseverance. And as I developed a strong passion for the hoop I also felt called and inspired to share it and encourage others to discover the immense benefits of hoop dance. So I got connected in the hooping community and attended workshops. I now teach hoop dance courses at a local dance institute and online at my site autumnflow.com.
Hooping has brought me so many incredible opportunities and I'm still always learning from my sacred circle. I am driven by my creativity and compassion for people and combining the two to bring the joy of hoop dance into the lives of others gives me so much happiness.
So perfect and to the point! Thank you so much for NOT overexplaining and just getting to the point! For real! Thank you so much!!!!!
I had to come to this video to let you know the,( all I feel is flow video) is great loved it, well done.
This video is so well done. Everything you need in a tutorial. Thank you 🙂
i love how you add transition ideas to the trick, so helpful!
Oh good! I'm so happy to hear that those are helpful! I feel like its just as important to learn how to transition in and out of a move as it is to learn the move itself :).
Thank you Michele! You are an amazing instructor and hooper as well.
Soraya V Thank you :). I appreciate that
Thank you, you’re such a great teacher 👩🏫
Aw thank you! It brings me so much joy to inspire others by doing what I love most :)
You are literally going through all the things I want to learn! This is amazing!
Aw that is awesome! Thank you girl! :)

Thank you! Wonderful tutorial!!
You are very welcome :)
I love this move! It’s just what I was looking for to add to the waist wrap that I recently learned. I can’t wait to master this & connect it into a combo. You do an excellent job explaining it & I love the long name because technically it correctly explains exactly what the move is 😊👍 Thank you for this awesome tutorial ❤️✨‼️
Thank you for your kind feedback. I'm glad it was helpful and those two moves go together so well :)
Thank you for this tutorial and your advice! I have been trying to get this down for so long and nailed in less than ten minutes after watching.
yay! I'm so glad to hear that :D
Thank you!!!
Your outfit is adorable and you are amazing ❤️
aww you're so sweet :). thank you!
Amazing Hooper!!
Thank you!
I was definitely unconsciously adding extra twists lol didn't even realize I've been doing it wrong til I watched the playback of one of my videos whoops
Awesome progress! Filming yourself helps so much, I think.
I did the exact same thing! Lol
are you turning the hoop over in the ghosting behind the back bit, thats the only way I can make it work? And can you explain step by step how the one had behind the back turning work, I cant figure it out from watching, the hoop just gets stuck. halllpp!
JOY DEAN I am wondering the same thing. I dont see the hoop flip, and she says to keep in facing the same way, but then how do the palms face one way and then another? I wish she would stand still for a minute and just show us the hand movements.
JOY DEAN at 8:52 it slows down. I think she does flip it, just horizontally so it masks it in the turn.
yes, its flipped! I got it... thank you! Did you figure it out Kaytie?
JOY DEAN yes, the slow motion part helped a lot. :)
Thank you so much Michele!!! 🙏
My pleasure!
Is ther a variamt for someome in a larger body would you suggest a larger hoop?
Muito bom
What is the gripping hand doing while u turn? Im all tangled & stuck..🤔
I have a hard time with right to left. Do you have any suggestions? I'm left handed but use my right mostly.
Double check your hand positioning! Thumbs together in the starting position, palms facing out, pinkies together after the first ghosting and 180 turn. Review the troubleshooting tips at 6:14 too.
I have a hard time believing your non hooper boyfriend learned this in a morning. But maybe you're just that good a teacher 😊
I’ve watched so many tutorials & I have no idea how to do it
It's a tricky one! Keep practicing
I do the same with my husband. Some tricks he gets it right away and some are more challenging for him. Hooping isn't rocket science, it's just patterns that aren't wired to our cognitive side of the brain so it only takes a sense of intuition and muscle memory
I can't get it... does it need to be a small hoop?
Yes! A smaller hoop will help with this trick.
The" 360 ghost"
That name already exists for another move hmm
Isolating butt ghost!!
Boo! Haha!
i still dont get it :/
Maybe try a smaller hoop, some people have reported that helps! And, keep practicing :D sometimes tricks will just click after enough tries.
Maybe call it an infinity iso?
Love that!
I don't think my arms are long enough? lol
I have the same problem lmao try a smaller hoop! 25-27
Yes! This is best done with a smaller hoop!
Call it 3G.
cute!
I love this but 15 minutes is a lot for a tutorial
Thanks for your feedback! You can speed up the playback speed to make it a little faster :D
Terrible teacher
