Thank you for watching this video. Please comment below, I love hearing from you! :)
When I discovered hoop dance I instantly fell in love with it. As a new mom at the time I was in search of a fun and different form of exercise that I could do from the convenience of my home and I initially started hooping for the health and fitness aspects of it.
However hoop dance became so much more to me than that. It became my own creative form of self-expression and stress relief. It deepened my mind body connection and became my moving meditation. It boosted my confidence and helped me to create a healthy active lifestyle.
It ultimately gave me a total self-transformation and taught me the art of practice, patience and perseverance. And as I developed a strong passion for the hoop I also felt called and inspired to share it and encourage others to discover the immense benefits of hoop dance. So I got connected in the hooping community and attended workshops. I now teach hoop dance courses at a local dance institute and online at my site autumnflow.com.
Hooping has brought me so many incredible opportunities and I'm still always learning from my sacred circle. I am driven by my creativity and compassion for people and combining the two to bring the joy of hoop dance into the lives of others gives me so much happiness.

  • I love this move! It’s just what I was looking for to add to the waist wrap that I recently learned. I can’t wait to master this & connect it into a combo. You do an excellent job explaining it & I love the long name because technically it correctly explains exactly what the move is 😊👍 Thank you for this awesome tutorial ❤️✨‼️

  • are you turning the hoop over in the ghosting behind the back bit, thats the only way I can make it work? And can you explain step by step how the one had behind the back turning work, I cant figure it out from watching, the hoop just gets stuck. halllpp!

    • JOY DEAN I am wondering the same thing. I dont see the hoop flip, and she says to keep in facing the same way, but then how do the palms face one way and then another? I wish she would stand still for a minute and just show us the hand movements.

      @KB-tg7pf@KB-tg7pf6 жыл бұрын
    • JOY DEAN at 8:52 it slows down. I think she does flip it, just horizontally so it masks it in the turn.

      @KB-tg7pf@KB-tg7pf6 жыл бұрын
    • yes, its flipped! I got it... thank you! Did you figure it out Kaytie?

    • Double check your hand positioning! Thumbs together in the starting position, palms facing out, pinkies together after the first ghosting and 180 turn. Review the troubleshooting tips at 6:14 too.

    • I do the same with my husband. Some tricks he gets it right away and some are more challenging for him. Hooping isn't rocket science, it's just patterns that aren't wired to our cognitive side of the brain so it only takes a sense of intuition and muscle memory
