This. We have allowed Foreign interference by Israel that has influenced Capitol Hill. If this were Russia or China, we'd be singing a different tune, but because it's Israel it's anti semitic. I never thought the Far Right would be right about how much power Israel wields, but now we can see it for what it is: foreign interference by state actors against the interest of the American people. I was at the Columbia University campus on the night of April 30. I went in honor of my beloved departed sister Raquel who was an early childhood teacher for over 35 years, and who was emphatically against the murder of Palestinian children. I went in solidarity of the Columbia students, was shocked and horrified to witness the massive presence of NYPD police. I knew what tragedy would follow... The courageous, sacrificial fight for truth and justice in Gaza by the students at the risk of their own academic careers is nothing short of amazing. Now it is America's turn to raise our collective voices and continue the protest against the criminal tyranny that has sieged democracy!
The NYPD using their SS like training they learned so well from their brothers of the IOF!

The image of police loading a line of protesters into a city bus-turned-paddy wagon that says "clean energy bus" is weirdly dystopian.
Those students are so brave and courageous, changes always begin with them. I hope they know we are supporting them from other parts of the world. Don't change your heart and ideals, that's what the system wants to do with these disproportionate attacks. Don't let them make you cynical or indifferent, because then you start to lose your soul, nothing is more valuable than that.

Should the students not be protesting nationwide? I'm surprised there aren't protests at European universities of this scale if any. Were the 1968 Vietnam protests justified? Universities and its students should and have always been the heart, soul, and righteous voice of this country, and suppressing them is futile.

There have been a couple of university protests in other European countries. But not at the scale of the USA.
