Both this version and Voiceplay's are absolute masterpieces. It all comes down to personal preference at this point and my preference is this one. It is AMAZING!

This is probably one of the best acappella music videos ever that was just recorded in front of green screens. How is this even possible?! Everything about this video is mind blowing! Marwan, your arrangements never cease to amaze me! And getting Ed Boyer to mix the audio for y‘all was also absolutely the right choice! And as I‘ve already said, the visuals are just crazy! At first i thought "how tf an arrangement can be more complicated and jumpscaring than they usually do?" And this proceed to show that i was SO wrong. Literally beyond my expectation, i already set my expectation so high and they still managed to surpassed it. Some parts that still left me so broken even after watching bunch of times (patreon gang here 😎🤘) - The beggining. I don't expect this video to be animated so yea XD - The "I hear your footsteps" when the boys walking, SO CUTE! 🥰🥰 - The sudden low note from Lauren. Never heard her sing that low before ... 😳 - The boys lead part. Especially Marwan with the "room now" quick switch minor-major-minor key and of course the C#1! 🤯 plus the melting after Tomi's verse - The key change! Don't expect that AT ALL. Reminder that this was filmed in 5 DIFFERENT CORNERS of the world. Just how amazing the execution is. You all have really outdone yourself this time! The production in this video was absolutely phenomenal! This video may have beaten "Bury A Friend" for being the creepiest music video you all have done thus far, lol. Everyone's voice was incredible, and they all blended so nicely together! I'm not one to usually scare easily but there were a few moments in this video that gave me quite a scare. The first moment was when Marwan transitioned from being a creepy puppet to an angelic being. It happened so fast that it gave me a jump scare, lol. Before I could recuperate from that scary incident, six seconds later Marwan unexpectedly dropped his voice down to the depths of the earth! I kid you not, when this happened, with God as my witness, I literally screamed, lol. I could actually feel his voice rumbling through my entire body. Talk about a 4-D experience, lol. The last creepy moment of this video was the ending. The way you all slowed down the lyrics brought chills down my spine, and Lauren's mischievous smile made it even creepier, lol. You all definitely brought us treats with this amazing video! All in all, this was an outstanding performance and a great way to end the Halloween season!

My favorite part of this entire thing, by far, is what Marwan does with the perc line as he hits the insane C#1 subharmonic. It goes from a basic 4/4 drum line into this cool slow trap-like beat, which matches perfectly with the ridiculous low note.

I've always found the video to add to the scare factor even with the original. By itself it's just a song about one man hide and seek with the video it's about a kid who f'd up the game and got his sister possessed and is now trying to hide from her.

Been waiting for this since I heard Bobby duet Lauren on TikTok. I was not disappointed! The whole video was epic from the sounds to the arraignment to the concept, but I must say the 2 main highlights for me was at 1:44 when Marwan dropped that earth shattering note that I felt down to my toes (which by the way helped get rid of my headache so thank you) and at 1:57 getting to hear full on Opera Peter. Hard to tell which I like more for Spooky Season: Hide and Seek, Spooky Scary Skeletons or Emperor’s New Clothes…

I am very curious what type you are, since its harder to tell with studio recordings. And as for the Bass Gang, you guys did an excellent job, well done. The editing was very good, and the sudden key change in the middle of the song was really cool. Can't wait for the next song you guys do.
